Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Pricing was very fair and transparent, Rob was very skilled and personable, and the job was done quickly and well. Will certainly be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

The technician came out when he said he would and carefully explained that what we needed was beyond his capabilities. He initially refused to charge us but my wife gave him some cash for his efforts. He was very courteous and polite. We will definitely use him again if we need the type of service he provides.

During a time when customer service is at an all time low, due to worker shortages and increased demand, it's incredibly refreshing to call a business, have the owner answer the phone and and have same-day availability! Mr. William arrived within an hour of my call to fix my HVAC system that was not blowing hot or cold air. He asked if I wanted to watch him repair the unit and I enthusiastically said yes! Not many people take the time to walk you through through every step of the diagnostic tests. Once he pinpointed the issues (a safety feature that cut the system off and some faulty repairs from a previous HVAC company), I was quoted a price to repair, I signed off on the work and and my unit was back to operational within the hour. The whole process was informative, transparent and easy. Then I found out he not only repairs HVAC, but also plumbing and electrical. Last but not least, I love to support locally owned and operated, Black businesses. This was an all-around great experience and I will be calling again.

This company can not be trusted at all. We booked an appointment for emergency helium testing due to water leak for after hours on Friday and scheduled it two days ahead. There was absolutely no communication at all and at the appointment time we tried to reach them as they advertise 24 hours on their website, we were transferred to an emergency technician who sounded like he just woke up and had no clue to what needs to be done. He could not reach to any one in management and gave an excuse that they did not provided him any emergency numbers. Keep off this company as it is most likely that they will let you down. Because of their mistake it costed us $1200 cause we had other crew waiting for them and had to pay for it. I would recommend to keep off from calling them.

I had my main water shut off valve fail on a weekend afternoon with three kids and three pets in the house! My husband was repairing a minor leak in the kid’s bathroom and once the water was shut off to complete the repair, it wouldn’t come back on. Needless to say, Drain Express was extremely responsive, and sent someone out within the hour! On a Sunday! The technician that responded was polite, professional and worked quickly to restore our valve. I am impressed and very pleased with the quality of work and responsiveness I received from this company. I would definitely recommend anyone else needing some repairs done (emergency or not) to use Drain Express. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are extremely satisfied with the experience we had with Dr. Drain. They were readily available, communicated well, were very personable and very knowledgeable. It turned out that our issue was not a plumbing issue at all, and we were not charged for the visit/assessment. We will definitely use Dr. Drain for all of our future plumbing needs.

I called Sparrow and Sons to come look at a toilet drain line. The technician was here for 1 hour, I received a bill for a total of 2 hours plus machine use charges( close to a $300 bill) and my drain line clogged up again the next day. For sure will not be using Sparrow & Sons again.

My well pump stopped working. I actually have a home warranty contract, but they said they didn’t have any contractors in my area to fix a pump. Finally, after complaining about paying for a service and not getting it, they found one to come out in 10 days. Seriously, try not having a shower or being able to flush your toilet for 10 days! (First American Home Warranty if you’re wondering). I tried contacting some plumbers but for some reason got no call backs. When I called Affordable Plumbing I got someone right away and gave my information. Eddie called me back and set up an appointment and was there when he said he would be. Unfortunately,
my system was set up differently than most apparently, and he said he would be back that evening or the next day. He came back that evening and installed the new upgraded system that I had requested in in a short time . Now I have better water pressure and a much quieter pump. I would use this company again.

We had a sewage pipe issue that needed immediate attention. After getting a sky-high estimate from another vendor, I called Jordan Plumbing and a few other local companies for a second opinion. Mr Jordan came over that same day, explained the issue, described the fix, and wrote me an estimate that was literally HALF what the first company wanted to charge. They completed the job 2 days ahead of schedule and worked cleanly and efficiently. Not only that, but they stand by their work. I was/ am very impressed and have since saved their number for the future. Highly recommended.

The Piedmont Metro team that replaced my furnace was Metro from Fayetteville Rd., Durham. They responded promptly and kept me informed about the replacements and the cost! They replaced a 30 year old furnace and used as much of the duct work, etc. as possible which really helped with the cost. The price was extremely reasonable. I have recommended them to my friends (who have had their services and have been very happy). I will continue to do so

I've used Dr. Drain for all our plumbing projects and needs. April is always helpful in scheduling the visits and following up to ensure we were satisfied with the work. Ryan does an excellent job every time he comes to complete a project. He expertly replaced our toilet and the shower fixtures upstairs. More recently, he fixed the downstairs toilet that was leaking water and was in dire need of repair, and now it works without a hitch. Ryan also takes the time to explain everything he's doing and encourages questions/check-ins throughout the project to keep the customer informed and makes suggestions for ways to take care of the house's plumbing. We've been very pleased with Dr. Drain and would highly recommend them!
