Best Commercial Service in Durham NC

I was very pleased with the work done by Carrboro Plumbing. My On Demand Hot Water Heater had never been flushed and they were recommended to do this. The plumber was safe, wore masks and shoe covers. I will recommend them to anyone.

David with PSR was very professional. He helped me figure out the most cost effective ways to solve my plumbing issues, was in time for our appointment, and friendly. We had a secondary emergency issue arise two days later, and David came within 30 minutes to take care of it for us. We're using PSR again for additional work.

Great job on service but took a while 2 and half hours (35+ mins going to store to get part). Had to ask them before entering to wear mask they replied “we’re vaccinated” then only had one mask so I had to provide them with one, Asking me for my own Tupperware or bucket for the water to drain and paper towels to clean area. Shouldn’t a business/service have this and not ask the customer! One of assistants without asking starting using my toilet paper (expensive quality) Very Unprofessional…

We had a great experience with PlumbServe. Our water heater (15 years old) started going on the fritz on a Friday and other places we called didn't have availability until late the following week. PlumbServe had someone out to our house the same day, applied a temporary solution that lasted us through the weekend, and was back here first thing Monday morning to replace the heater. Throughout the process they were responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Line's cost was $236.00.

We used CDK Plumbing to plumb a bathroom and two extra sink areas in a basement we are finishing. The first time they came out they were professional and courteous. Yesterday, the came out to finish the job, since the drywall and painting was done, by putting in the toilet and sink. The first problem with communication came when they failed to call me or my husband to let us know they were coming out. I was surprised when they rang the doorbell as I was getting ready to leave for work. Since I didn't know they were coming, I had not arranged to work from home nor did I have anyone who was able to stay at the house that day. I let them in, showed them around and told them to call me if they needed anything. I remarked that the lead guy was not the same one who had been out here doing the work the first time. When I came home, I was surprised to find 8 holes in the ceiling where they were looking for a valve shut-off. Many of the holes are as big as my head. First of all, I think they should have written down where they had installed the valve on our paperwork, so that if they weren't going to send the same guy out, it would have been well documented. Alternatively, in this age of camera phones, they could have taken pictures after everything was installed, to document where they had installed all the valves - this is what the electrician had done. Finally, NOBODY CALLED US! I would think it would be a policy that if you were to cut into the drywall, you would CALL THE HOMEOWNER first. We remembered where the valves were installed and could have, with a 5 minute phone call, instructed them on the location so that they would have had to only make one or maybe two holes looking for it - NOT 8! I cannot fathom what when through their heads after hole, say 5, to not think - maybe I should contact the homeowner and let them know I'm turning their brand new, perfect, expensive, painted drywall into swiss cheese. At no point in time were either my husband nor I contacted by them. Not even when they were done; so we were left to discover this mistake by ourselves. This company waisted time (how long does it take to cut 8 separate holes? how long will it take us to fix 8 separate holes?) and money (How much will it cost us, an expense that they say is ours deal with). Communication is cheap and easy. Communication is the key to a happy homeowner. A 5 minute call would have saved the company from this bad review. I would not recommend CDK Plumbing until they review their communication policy and make sure they keep the homeowners in the loop.

Update: I have now spoken with our contractor, who takes partial responsibility for the above situations, since he approved ONE hole to be cut into the ceiling. The owner of CDK has also called and apologized for the mistake. I appreciate how he took responsibility for the situation. He has promised to pay for the repair. Therefore I am raising my review by one star.

Contacted Jane at JR Lane plumbing yesterday afternoon. Described to her what I needed. She immediately got me on the phone with the owner, Jimmy Lane and got me all set up for everything needed first thing the very next morning. And at a fantastic value. But too top it all, they sent their very best man out for the job. Daniel was courteous, knowledgeable, meticulous, detail oriented, helpful in explaining, really you won't find better anywhere. Thanks for your great help!!!

Do yourself a favor and hire these guys!!

I cannot recommend this company enough! They are fast, reliable, knowledge and friendly and will save you thousands of dollars. First, they came out at 10pm on a long/holiday weekend because we had a sewage backup and it was leaking out of the ceiling. It was a nightmare for us and they stayed until 2am until the issue was stopped and provided us next steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

They also helped us with a leaky sink while we were under contract for a house. It was a time sensitive issue and they came quickly, resolved it and also gave us a couple of recommendations of other issues to fix, which would prevent any future damage.

Josh did an awesome job servicing HVAC.

I scheduled to have ARS to come out and give an estimate on installing a new ductless system in my bonus room. After waiting around for several hours on the day of my appointment and ARS not showing, I finally gave them a call. I was told that all though they scheduled an appointment, they would not send someone out until a manager had called to discuss the specifics. I received no calls from ARS prior to the appointment, and thus no one was sent out to my house. ARS succeeded in wasting my afternoon.I ended up using a competitor of ARS in the Triangle area. Unless you enjoy missing work to wait around on ARS to not show for their appointment, I suggest you do the same.

Things went extremely well during the pandemic. Needed them to come for an emergency. They were professional and took care of things most efficiently. Will use again.

The gentleman Dalton Bass came over and was very nice and friendly and professional. He came over and did his job really quick and gave a fair price. Definitely will be using this company again. Thank you Dalton !! Great worker !!

Five stars, which I don't often give. In general, competitive pricing and high-quality work. Specifically, we had a gas hot water system installed in our somewhat odd house; potential problems were resolved efficiently, and the rates charged were very good.

I normally don't post reviews of companies but Warren and Sons was such a pleasure to work with. I had them come out today to troubleshoot what happened to my well and he started with the least expensive solution first but when that didn't work he called me to discuss further options. He was not only pleasant to speak to, but he answered all of my questions and he's reasonably priced. I will be using him a lot more in the future for sure!

We would like to express our gratitude to Plumbing Giant for the excellent service we received. Our plumber was punctual and friendly, taking his time to explain the process of drain clearing thoroughly and answer any questions that we had. He clearly knew his trade well and had all the necessary equipment on hand, including the spare part required to complete the job fast.
