I called Mile High at 12:30pm today with a leaky/inoperable hot water heater. Matt was at my house by 1:00pm on a Saturday. He diagnosed the need for a replacement and was off to retrieve the new unti immidiately. He returned with the heater and a helper (Malcom)- both gentlemen were proffesional and efficient. By 5:15pm my new unit was installed and working. The price never changed from qoute to writting the check (very fair) I cross referenced the material cost of the new heater.

The plumber showed up waded through the water and found the shutoff to my house. He was able to help me coordinate the water clean up and then returned next day to replace my water heater. Kyle and his team were amazing! We had a leak somewhere in our main water line. We do not have a traditional water line that runs straight from the street to our property. It actually goes from our side yard, under the driveway, under the front lawn, then under our walkway, under a giant bush and finally into the house. We were worried they would have to take up the concrete, and that we would be without water for two days. Nope! His crew replaced the entire line, even patched the hole in the foundation on the interior and only had to take up a bit of our front yard to replace the entire line. Not only was the work and communication superior, the cost was literally 1/3 the amount of two other more well known plumbing companies. Do yourself a favor and go with these guys if you ever need a plumber!

It means a lot to me to have a plumber I can trust especially with large complicated jobs. When I need a plumber, I don’t need to take the time to call around to find a friendly competent plumber I can trust. I know I can just call Capra and they’ll fix my plumbing issue.

My neighbor found Capra Plumbing in 2006 when we discovered we had a leak in our water service line. The Capra crew hand dug two holes in front of the house over six feet deep and installed a new water service line. They did a great job and when they filled in the holes, the ground disturbance was almost undetectable. I’ve called Capra for small plumbing jobs since and they’ve always done a great job. In January 2019, we found the sewer line that went from the house to the alley had a blockage. I called Capra and Carlo had a crew at my home the next morning. The crew hand dug a hole over six feet deep and replaced damaged clay pipes with durable plastic pipe. Pat, the same plumber who installed our water service line in 2006 also repaired our sewer line in 2019. Pat did a great with both complicated issues or our antique (1912) plumbing.

All I can say is WOW. We had two emergency leaks and are leaving for a week-long vacation at the end of the week. I called 9 plumbing services today and only TCF was able to fit me in. Thomas, the owner, was at my house within an hour and went straight to work replacing my 19-year-old hot water heater and replacing a hose bib that burst and was leaking outside. He stayed late into the evening to make sure the work was done well. I can’t recommend TCF enough! You will not be disappointed!

Scam Alert. I contracted service from Elite Rooter to unclog a toilet that turned out the be a major replacement of a sewer line. A quote for $9600 was provided to fix the sewer clog. During the exploratory excavation Elite Rooter determine an additional $21000 was required to complete the job which consist of digging an additional 25 feet? I informed Elite Rooter to terminate the job when the Elite Rooter supervisor stated he could go 10 feet for an additional $9600 and it should (not guarantee) fix the problem. I preceded to contact three other vendors all gave a guarantee completion quote ($7600-$9800) to go the additional 25 ft if needed. Also, all stated that the quote they provided would have been given to complete the initial job. When I contacted the corporate headquarters to complain, they stated corporate policy was followed and implied to “go pound sand”. So, if you need sewer work done and have no problem with paying three times the initial quote bestowed then this is a company for you.

I called this company when I had a sewer line back up into my basement. They referred me to ProClean to do the disaster mitigation. Proclean arrived and did the work quickly and efficiently so that the plumber could come in and fix the problem. The plumber that showed up from this company was drunk and high, and it quickly became apparent that he did not know the first thing about plumbing. Then he went to get McDonalds at 11:45PM and left me to wait for him to do the work. It was at this time I decided he would not be allowed back into the house. I called his boss 5 times and he did not answer. Needless to say this company gets 0 stars. Avoid at all costs.

I was so happy to be connected to this company!! I was previously told by another plumbing company that I needed to replace my entire sewer line. I thought something was fishy so I had Better Plumbing come to inspect the lines. The $135 fee was more than worth it. The technician did a camera view of the line and there were NO cracks and breaks that the other company (Plumbline) said were there. Plumbline quoted me over $12,000!! So, to say the $135 was worth it is quite the understatement. All the technicians from Better Plumbing were more than nice and informational. They gave me 2 camera pictures of my lines immediately. Something the original company never did. Don't be taken advantage of!! Get this second opinion. There are companies out there that will do anything to get your money. I had my lines Hydro Flushed through Better Plumbing and my lines are next to new. This all cost me $635!! They also wrote a statement that there is nothing wrong with my lines. Plumbline tried to scare me to get this done immediately or my sewer would overflow..... Unbelievable! Watch out for wolves.....
