Tipping Hat installed a new a/c and furnace in my crawlspace nearly 4 years ago, and although the price may have been a little higher than anticipated, the units themselves have operated flawlessly. Today they came out for a furnace check-up, arrived on time and finished the job posthaste and were out the door before I knew it. My experience with Tipping Hat has been nothing but high-quality and professional.

After writing a Sterling review yesterday I need to change it. Crew did not relight pilot on hot water heater after installing new furnace, AC and humidifier. I need to go to work and cannot wait around for tech to come out again to relight pilot.

Blue Sky has been fast and efficient whenever I've called in to make an appt. Today, they called and worked me into their schedule a day before they were scheduled after my AC stopped working. Alan S. worked quickly to trouble shoot the issue, make the repairs and recommendations to keep my house running efficiently. In addition, Alan also got me signed up with the Family Plan to help me save money on future repairs on my 1940 home.

Used them a year ago, service was great. This year I had the AC go out again. I've been without AC for 3 weeks. The soonest they could schedule me was 3 weeks out. I agreed to wait because I thought they were good. Yesterday I called to confirm my appointment for today. Today i got a call 1 hour into my service window saying they had to cancel and couldn't fit me in for another week. Don't take the appointment if you can't do the work!

Be very careful. They get the second star here because they are well polished, efficient, on time, and highly professional. The gas valve assembly in my furnace was not operating correctly. They were able to pinpoint this a bit. After putting together a quote they determined that I needed to have this assembly replaced as well as the thermostat. They also thought that Furnace manufacturer annual maintenance was necessary to Pick proper filter size for system and select for equipment This charge would have been $198. They wanted to charge $532 to replace the thermostat. The thermostat was about $75 online and I picked up a programmable one at home depot for $26 and installed it myself in about 15 minutes. They wanted to charge $366 to clean the blower wheel. You would think this would be part of the furnace manufacturer annual maintenance. The big one is to replace the gas valve assembly. I bought the part with 2 day shipping for $90 all in. I woke up this morning and the furnace finally kicked on. This was probably from clearing out the gas assembly and the pipes that are connected by tapping on it with a crescent wrench. Now I have a spare part if the part actually fails. All of this together would have been $2383. They also talked about all of these repairs not being warrantied because my furnace was too old(20 years). They proposed an alternative: a completely new system. This would have been around $7000 all in with installation. If you do some research you will find that new furnaces start just over $1000 brand new for base models. With this all said, I would try and find a company other than horizon to do business with.

Dustin, Teddy and Mikey were the best. They left my place cleaner than when they started. Worked very hard to make things better than before. I feel they under promised and over delivered. They were a joy to have working in my house. They stayed late to msle sure I had heat for the night. This is s top notch crew. I will reccomend AAArk to anyone that wants professional results for a fair price. It might be higher than the other guys, but you get what you pay for.

Horrible service. Left my bathroom dirty, didn't review the work with me, the service person just disappeared. They left the water pressure too low and after a month of several contacts, finally returned. When I asked what the water pressure level was the tech replied, I don't know, I don't have a water pressure gauge A plumber who doesn't have a water pressure gauge wants me to guess what water pressure is sufficient?! Follow up to management was useless. I'll pay the bill, but will never use Tony Capra Plumbing again
