*July 14 2022*Tipping Hat never pulled a permit for our HVAC project and according to the inspector's office their workers compensation policy has expired.Original Review:We had a working AC before Tipping Hat began work. I reached out to them to do a proactive replacement of our AC and Furnace. The old setup worked but it was 23 years old and needed to be replaced. My wife is pregnant and we have four dogs. I figured it was best to get ahead of any potential issues.Joseph was eager to help and got us a good price for a full setup with AC, Furnace, Humidifier, and Air Purifier. He moved quickly to get us an install date of Friday 6/17. We moved quickly on the install date due to an incentive.Install of Friday 6/17 came, and Tipping Hat collected money up front and began work. 12 hours later we ended up with holes in the wall, holes in the ceiling, shady electrical work, and more importantly, no AC in a 90-degree house.I want to be clear that the two HVAC technicians, Austin and Romeo did everything in their power to try to deliver good service to us. They both deserve 5 stars, gift cards, and a new leadership team. Unfortunately, the rest of the leadership at Tipping Hat was more interested collecting checks than providing us good service.Ultimately the team went home to their air-conditioned homes on Friday night and left us trying to figure out where to sleep to keep ourselves cool.Saturday rolled around and they said, we will send an emergency service to get the unit working. While we did get the electrician in on Saturday to fix the unsafe electrical work, the team was unable to fix the AC and said, we can order parts on Monday. Seriously? It is 90+ degrees in Denver this weekend and all you can do is say see you Monday? Completely uncalled for. We had a working AC before you all began work and you are doing absolutely nothing to remedy our situation. We paid far too much money to not have a working AC system. Tipping Hat has also not offered anything to make us right. No offer of hotel stays, no discount on the work, no future service credits. They are eager to sell and are happy to let you sweat it out when their work goes sideways.

Predatory pricing: Read the reviews from Horizon's other location on W. Thomas Ave. to see other customers who experienced similar scams. Horizon came out and its tech told my wife that the capacitor had gone out, causing the compressor to go as well. Since they don’t repair parts on R22 units, the tech claimed we would have to purchase a new AC . . . cool. The tech sent out a salesperson for the new AC unit a few days later and the scam escalated--she said I also needed to replace the furnace because my current blower was incompatible. If I was getting everything replaced, which I plan to do eventually, I wanted it done right, so I had a lot of questions and requests. The responses I got were incoherent garbage from a trained scam artist. I am an engineer and was shocked by the salesperson's claims regarding the superiority of their systems while she was unable to explain basic aspects of their design and function. The verbal quote she gave me for the AC and furnace replacement in my less than 2,000 square foot house was ~$16-18k. In the end, Horizon realized I was not going to be scammed by them and called me back to say they did not see us as a fit. A few days later, Northglenn HVAC came out and fixed my system for $167. There was no need for a new AC at all; we just needed a new capacitor and it was good to go. It’s been running smooth keeping the $15,833+ I saved cool ever since. Get multiple quotes but don’t let one of them be from Horizon.

We’ve been without our oven, stovetop, washer/dryer, air conditioning, etc for a week!Aaron from Plumbline came in & diagnosed the problem, getting power restored for the time being & set up a date to finish the work that needs to get done. He answered all our questions & showed us exactly what had happened. Really appreciate his expertise & help today!

Befort did a free estimate on the situation we had going on. Not only did the nice plumber guy figure out that the lid to the meter pit was just stuck, but he took time out of his day to help us get it unstuck from the pit for free! Nicest guy ever! I would definitely recommend this place!

I wouldn't think twice about referring my friends to this plumber who does marvelous things. The
company is well organized and they also have great prices compared to other service providers.

I'm updating my previous review, from a 1 to a 4.While I did have some issues with my overall experience, Blue Sky stood by their labor and were more than willing to make things right. They take their customer service and labor warranty very seriously and even after the install, performed needed work to make sure that I was happy with what was completed with my HVAC system.Shout out to Bryan (Service Manager) for taking the time to walk me through and making sure I understood the changes that were needing to be made with the system that were done improperly. I really appreciate that.I'm still expecting to hear a call from Daniel/Bryan, but I figured I'd update this review to better reflect my overall experience. Thank you.

Very pleased with my experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Ilija specifically. They were able to get me a same day appointment and Ilija was able to quickly assess the situation and provide me with informed options on what I could do. I would recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

The service Manager Michael did the right thing and made all this right today and I doubt if anyone will ever not wear a mask during this pandemic that works for this company....I cannot vouch for their work yet and they are now in the running for my business. First of all when the person arrived he did not have a mask he couldn't even find one in his truck luckily I had an extra one. Then he charges me $70 without even telling me there was a fee and wasn't even sure he could fix it he put the mask on backwards shame on this company.

Anthony was amazing! He was polite, professional, and patient with our questions. We would request him in the future if we need electrician services!Rick was great. Came on a Saturday and was very professional. We appreciated his knowledge and honesty.

Jason was amazing... it was around 5pm on Saturday night! We had been working all day on braking down our saltwater tank and had hooked up the hose to rinse it out. Water was shooting out everywhere so I decided that I better check the crawl space to make sure nothing was leaking. And boy am I glad I did. We had a puddle of water, but it wasn't all from the hose. Apparently our drainage pipe from our kitchen sink was cracked and had been leaking, for who knows how long into the crawl space! I immediately called a plumbing company and they couldn't get anyone to the house until Monday at noon, so I called another company and got the same answer. I saw Iron plumbing and thought well it's worth a shot and Jason answered! I explained the situation and he told me that he was in Brighton...we live in Littleton!..but he would head out to us as soon as he possibly could. I felt a wave of relief pour over me. I figured it was going to cost me an arm and a leg so I asked how much and his response was extremely reasonable and perfectly affordable. When he got here and found out that not only was the drainage pipe cracked in not just one spot but two, he also discovered our hose pipe had frozen and cracked also! He went right to work and he worked so hard! For hours! He had everything he needed to do the repairs. He was such a kind man and he really cared about us and our situation. He stayed well past midnight to ensure that we had the ability to have running water in the morning. He was very professional and extremely kind and generous...honestly we have been so stress doing a house remodel and breaking down a 90 gallon saltwater tank so we can get new flooring I really think I may have cracked if he hadn't come to rescue us! Thank you Jason! You did an amazing job for a very reasonable price! And we will always remember you coming to help us. We have your number on lock now and we definitely will be using your skills again.. if I could give you more than 5 stars I would.

To the T came to my rescue! I accidently drilled through a water line, and was fortunate that To the T had an immediate opening to come repair the line. Kameron performed the repair quickly and professionally. I will definitely call on To the T for future plumbing or HVAC needs.
