Best Mini Split in Colorado Springs CO

I needed to have the pressure vacuum breaker replaced since it was split over the winter during a freeze. Called APH and set up an appointment. The tech gave me a quote of just over $375. I was startled by the high quote. I asked how much of that was for the pressure vacuum breaker. I was told it was a set price. I looked online and found the part that looked identical to mine for just under $85. The job was done very well and the tech was very courteous. I saw in other reviews that it was mentioned how the cost seemed high. From my experience, the job was done in half an hour so I paid over $500 an hour for labor. I thought paying $150 for labor for an auto mechanic at a dealership was high! Not happy with this pricing structure for future work.

It was unfortunate that I had to get a new furnace, and AC, but also had to get my house repiped. One of the only main reasons, I went with this company is because of a technician named Andres. He was empathetic and understanding, so it made my decision easier. I would definitely recommend this company! Thanks Andres.

Easy to set up appointment, they came same day to diagnose and fixed AC next day! Karl K was early for each window and they were very communicative! We've used Smith for tune ups and repair/install.

Our gas line to our water heater developed a leak, and they were able to come out same day with the required part and get it fixed asap.

I really had a great experience with this company. They came out to do a service call and thought the drip pan needed to be replaced. That night I discovered that the drain pipe just screwed out and wasn't broken after all... so no drip pan needed. The service man came back out the very next day on his day off because of the discovery (the company let him get on the clock for this) and fixed it right away. He was so nice and even gave us his personal cell phone number which allowed us to call him that night to put a cancel in on the order for the drip pan!

If you Google Priority Plumbing, they say that they offer upfront pricing. I guess I have a different definition, as there were numerous hiding charges upon the completion of the work. They charge part pick up and travel time as labor even though there is an upcharge on parts. At $249/hr, that can add up quickly. If I had known that this was their policy, I would not have contacted them. The work was completed, but they always run late and do not call to let you know their status.
