I called Tarvin because they were local and had a high review score - wish I hadn't. The job included replacing two toilet flappers and fixing a thermostatic mixer on a shower (temperature control). I had a replacement valve for the temperature control that turned out to be the wrong size. The plumber from Tarvin said the control valve wasn't the problem anyway. Rather, there was a build-up of corrosion from lack of use. He cleaned it out, put it back together, told us it was working and charged us just under $500.
When I tried the temperature control a week or so later, it did not work - same as before (but the toilet flappers did work). I called the office and explained that the part was not repaired. The receptionist was very nice and assured me that the report said the shower was fixed. She agreed to send another plumber out to check on it - that day. Wow, I thought, great customer service. The plumber arrived and told my wife that the report said the shower was fixed and that if we wanted him to do anything it would be at least $150. I have to give him credit for giving us the option to say No, Thank you - which my wife did.
My son and I, who don't know squat about plumbing, decided to look at it ourselves. In 45 minutes, using a couple of wrenches and the internet, we determined that the temperature control unit was missing a part that rendered it useless. Interesting that three people at Tarvin assured us it was working when it was physically impossible for the control unit to work. We ordered the part on Amazon, installed it in 15 minutes and the shower works flawlessly.
I can not recommend Tarvin for anything. It is clear to me that they don't have the expertise or the integrity to back up their work. Now, I'm thinking about quitting my job and becoming a plumber.

Quality Comfort provided very unprofessional and borderline-dishonest service. I requested an estimate for replacing my broken AC condenser motor. The technician arrived, inspected the AC unit, and confirmed that the condenser motor needed to be replaced. However, he said that the OEM motors were back-ordered and wouldn't be available for 4 weeks. He said if I didn't want to wait, my only option was to buy a brand new air conditioner. After I explained that I didn't need to have an OEM motor; I would be happy with a universal motor from another manufacturer. I was told by the technician that he didn't think it would be possible to find an universal motor for my unit, and instead, I should just have them give me a quote for a new air conditioner. After I persisted, he finally agreed to look for a universal motor. While he was doing this, I did a quick Google search and saw that motors that match my AC unit's specifications were readily available at many stores, including the local Grainger for $150.The technician finally came back and said that he was able to find a motor that might work, but they would need to charge $900 to install it. I said that I did wasn't interested in paying that much, and that I would find someone else to do the repair. I paid him the fee for the service visit, but he appeared to be very upset that he had put in that much effort and only received the $69 service fee. In reality, the only work that he did was to look up our AC unit's model number to find the appropriate condenser motor. It literally took me 10 seconds to do the same thing on Google. This was incredibly bad customer service. I've used Quality Comfort multiple times in the past, but I won't be using them again.

D&Z Plumbing came out to my house and installed a tankless water heater a few weeks ago and also installed a new sump pump for us. We couldn't be more happy with the work we received!! The crew was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I haven't used them before, my mother has a couple times so we decided to use them and they've made a customer for life!! Highly Recommend using this company for all your plumbing needs.

I was recommended to 24 HR Emergency Plumber Cincinnati Inc by some neighbors in my community. When I had an emergency, I called in for a toilet repair and they were able to diagnose the issue, give me an estimate, and fix the toilet in one day. WOW, THAT WAS REALLY HELPFUL.

Called Perry Kelly Plumbing for residential repair work (as their street sign indicates they do as do their google reviews) and was told they only work new construction installation. The only reason for the one-star review is so that no one else wastes their time calling them for repair work.

They installed my water heater and assured all connections were secured. Will continue to use on all plumbing needs. I highly recommend!

Highly recommend never using Kaleco Plumbing. They were used by the renovation company who renovated our home and did very shoddy work. Multiple loose fittings in our home that have lead to leaks and damage, incorrect hot and cold hookups in our bathrooms and most importantly incorrect installation of our 3rd floor shower drain that has now lead to significant damage to the ceiling and wall of our 2nd floor master. We have reached out to the company multiple times to make this work right with no response. Terrible quality of work and even worse customer service.
