I had them come out to install sinks (bathroom drop-ins and kitchen sink/disposal) after a thorough visit and quoting process. Had to fix a number of issues afterward, including improper drains and seals preventing the bathroom sinks from draining. Fine, but: a couple months after the new kitchen sink and disposal were installed, the pipe suddenly pops off the wall and the disposal falls off of the sink - sink full of water all over the cabinets, flooring, and downstairs ceiling drywall (now completely replaced $$$). Only asked them to re-install properly, with or without a disposal - same as before - but they would not stand by the warranty. Instead insisted on an additional $500 for the new job since the way they installed it originally was not really up to code. Strange considering the price I paid for the work and that this was done at their recommendation.

His willingness to problem solve some strange plumbing choices made by the previous owners of our vintage bungalow has helped us solve some kitchen issues and upgrade to a new dishwasher that now drains and works properly! I hired Alex and his completely reliable and experienced Go-Rooter team months ago, to repair major spillovers from drain cycles of our basement clothes washer. Our DePaul area home was built around 1890, and Alex and his team needed to explore and excavate defects in its original underground works. Their underground rebuilding for my wife and me included damaged-pipes repairs, hydro jet use that disposed of large amounts of sand, bricks and other debris, rebuilding of the catch basin that extended from the laundry area to the home's outside and replacement of collapsed pipe lines, bricks and various surrounding support. We are very satisfied with the team's efforts and results, and we have continued to enlist Alex with subsequent projects. Bill N.

Power plumbing has always delivered top notch service. I feel Ray and the crew who she schedules also go out of their way to explain my options and how my plumbing systems, water heaters, etc. work. They are honest, professional and accommodating.

Took 45 minutes to install a dishwasher (plumbers on-site complained about being installers now) and they charged $196 up front. Bill came 2 months later for an additional $506 and shows over 2 hours of service. They did end up crediting $100 off but not satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend a more buttoned up establishment unless you want to overpay for quick service during Covid.

Called Sam's based on the reviews. Happy we did. We got Jim who was just GREAT! We had him back again within days to fix a different problem. He was also (respectfully) early, instead of me having to wait hours indefinitely like so many contractors. He will be our plumbing guy moving forward!
