These guys are top notch professionals. Pete and Noah approached the problem logically and took the time to educate me on the inner workings of the pipes. I highly recommend going with Rescue Plumbing. I was put in a very frustrating & expensive position by another plumbing company's incompetent inspection. Rescue Plumbing got us back on track within 10 minutes of arriving on scene.

Rocket Plumbing was affordable, honest, and reliable. They stick by their work and are certainly your best option in the Chicagoland area. The owner, Brian is a great guy and thorough. I purchased a new house and he took the time to check a few items out for me outside of the scope I hired them for just to make sure things looked alright. Would do business with him again.

$650 for a sewer rod that took them less than an HR to get done, and wanted to charge me over $1,000

I called father and sons plumbing due to my kitchen sink backing up with grease, after attempting to rod my kitchen drain the plumber came to the conclusion that my problem was further down the line towards my catch basin and they offered Hydro jetting and took care of mediately of my grease problem I haven’t backed up since, I will call them back for any plumbing needs in the future!

I called Apex to request help with low water pressure, they came by and gave an assessment and identified the issue as needing a pressure pump, about $4000. I trusted their assessment and spent an additional $1000 to get electrical wired to support the pump. At the end of the project, the water pressure wasn’t fixed. They then came by again and said it was the pipe issue and it couldn’t be fixed with a pressure pump, that I had already paid for and installed. They would not take any returns nor any credits for their work or incorrect assessment. I messaged them about this and it was ignored. Extremely disappointed and out $5000 for nothing.

Service technician was knowledgeable and polite. My sink was unclogged. However your bank account will also be empty at the end of the service. Very over priced for a simple job. I only learned this after researching once the job was done. $499 for a simple unclogging. Didn't know that I could rent the same tool from home Depot's for a fraction of the price. Although the job was done, I would consider this unprofessional business practice. Again, the work was great but if you can do a bit of research you could save yourself some money. If you don't care about the cost, then this is the company for you.

The IL Consumer fraud act is intended to protect consumers against unfair and deceptive practices including but not limited to charging for goods and service. Overcharging consumers for simple unclogging can be seen as a misrepresentation effort, equipment, quality of service or skill to perform the service.

(815 ILCS 505) section 2

Objectively speaking: $499 for this service is overcharging. This was not a complicated or unique situation.

Absolutely GREAT experience having Kavana fix our gas leak/plumbing. This was an issue that we needed solved immediately and Kavana was very professional and accommodating!! I don't know what kind of stars to give - because they did not come to our house. They said that there would be a charge just for coming to the house without being able to give even a ball park estimate of the cost. I asked to provide a ball park estimate of the cost of rodding a downspout line - and said I wouldn't hold them to it, and they said that they could not even give a ball park estimate over the phone. I can understand wanting to know the situation - but I found services that would come out at zero charge, assess the situation and then give an estimate. Paying $99 to get someone just to show up without having any idea what it might cost after than doesn't make sense to me.

I had a gangway sewer plugged up and backing up Water. They rodded the main pipe from roots of a tree in the pipes. It cost $425.00 the person stated he rooted out the pipes to the street. It did not fix the problem. They stated they do not guarantee to fix the problem. They said to try to fix the problem would be another $1200.00. Again no guarantees. They try to fix the problem by trial and error. Not very happy with this company.

We had two plumbing companies come out to give us an estimate on a job. Benjamin from Apex was extremely professional and courteous and provided an estimate extremely quickly. The second company came out and we asked them a few questions about what Benjamin had told us and they were completely unable to answer they also didn’t provide a timely estimate. Apex and Benjamin are excellent plumbers and business people as they get the job done with the upmost professionalism. Additionally, I was home with a newborn baby who was a little fussy and Benjamin had a tip on how to hold her to calm her down. Thanks, Apex and Benjamin!

Miracle Pluming came out to help us rod out a line and then assisted us with determining the best solution to the real problem. Very honest guys and even though they couldn't ultimately complete the end job (we needed a lot more than just a plumber to fix our issue), they were helpful, cleaned up nicely, explained everything in detail. Being new young homeowners, we were naive and I'm sure someone else would have taken advantage of that- Not these guys! Recommend them to everyone we know and will be my first call the next time we have a plumbing issue.
