Best Sump Pump Installations in Chicago IL

I called to get an estimate to replace a kitchen sink. They require an onsite visit for $89 to give an estimate. I have all information and was willing to send pictures, but they want to waste my time and their technicians' and make $89 for doing nothing. Nice business model!!!

Wonderful company that I would recommend to anyone! We had several gas leaks in our basement and had our gas turned off immediately. After calling First Chicago Plumbing, they came out the same day, gave us a very fair quote, and were back out the next day to complete the job. They were extremely friendly, professional and clearly took pride in their work. They even contacted us the next day to make sure everything was working properly after the gas company came back to turn the gas on.

We needed a new sewer lateral as part of a home project . I decided to contact this plumber whose timing was also essential. They took us through the process and I appreciate their politeness and professional standards.

William and his dad came out and not only cleaned out our catch basin and hydro jetted our pipes, but they patiently answered our many questions about how the whole system works. I called Matt on Memorial Day morning and within a couple hours he took time away from his family and came over and fixed a plumbing issue with our bathtub faucet - a heavy leak that required turning the water off to the whole house. He arrived on time (despite the short notice on a holiday!), was very nice, pleasant, and professional, and fixed the problem in no time. I got two quotes to replace an old metal drum trap underneath the shower and Psp Plumbing was 55% lower than their competitor's price. Both companies said the job was 2-4 hours. Psp Plumbing was able to give a quote based on photos sent, gave a certificate of insurance, gave their company W-9, and offered flexible financing all before starting any work.

The replacement was completed the right way and within 2 hours. They arrived on time, professionally dressed, had all the correct parts, and removed all trash before they left. They also noticed and took the time to bring to my attention other plumbing violations and explained clearly the hazard associated.

Had an overall positive experience using Drain Works to fix a leak issue in my condo unit. It can be stressful finding the right plumbing service but they made the whole process very smooth. Donal and his crew went above and beyond to fix our leaks and seepage in our basement. They installed a sump pump and waterproofed our basement. Incredible customer service -Donal was/is responsive to all questions and explained everything thoroughly.

Not long after moving into a new home, we had water bubbling into the walls, through the door frame, and down the hallway upstairs. Accurate correctly diagnosed over the phone that it was an A/C condensation pipe that was causing it. They were then able to schedule someone to come find the root cause much sooner than other plumbers. (Turns out a Freedom Heating & Cooling tech inadvertently kicked a pipe loose while rummaging through the attic to fix our busted A/C a few days prior). Problem solved, and Walt at Accurate hooked us up with Chicago Water and Fire Restoration, who did a fantastic job repairing the affected areas.

Then another call to Accurate a month later, for two leaky sinks. Fast, friendly, very informative.

Then again a few months after that for a hyperactive sump pump. Turns out our mechanical room is filled with things not up to code that the home inspector didn't catch. Like PVC encased in a tonne of concrete. Walt and his associate worked in the cold rain for several hours, installing a backup sump pump, and performing forensics to demystify our Frankenplumbing. Once done he was patient enough to explain everything in lay-terms, made sure I knew what to watch out for in the future, made suggestions for a home generator to power the sump pumps, and provided low-cost options for later plumbing renovations.

Based on my experience, I can recommend without hesitation.
