It took from November 2022 to February 2023 to resolve our boiler's water bouncing --loud water knocks---that kept two unit owners from sleeping --- and could be heard EVEN outside of their condo units! Our prior heating/boiler service provider would say they would come out, schedule it and cancel it, re-schedule, and cancel. We contacted 5 other heating-boiler vendors-- respected longtime companies-all A+ ratings on BBB and other sights. None responded in a timely way. ONLY Van Der Bosch came through in these very difficult times. They are on Chicago's northside in Rogers Park/Edgewater a locally owned company.

Been working with Chuck and Chas for over 15 years. Recently called them for an emergency backed up sewer. They were quick to answer and come out. While it wasn’t an easy job they sure knew what they were doing. One week later my water heater died and they came out to save the day. I’m so happy I came across Apex Plumbing. Recommend Go-Rooter for everyone to use. I had a leaking toilet issue in the rental place and I called Go-Rooter. Alex, the plumber, gave a quick call back and provided me his availability for the same day. The communication was efficient and easy. During the work, he provided me the timely update on the work via phone when I couldn't be there. He also sent the photos of the clean up and the root cause of the problem as I requested. The entire process was smooth and clear. The charge is also flat rate based on the work.

My brother recommended Sam's Plumbing And Rodding company after he had a good experience with them so I called them when I had a leak in my kitchen.Jim, the plumber who came , was thorough and knowledgeable . He explained the cause of the problem and how he fixed it.Price was favorable and I was never disappointed. Will use again in future.

They do good work, but the amount they up charge is unbelievable. Here are their rates: $198 for the first hour; $89 for each 1/2 hour after. I was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor.

I had a plumbing job at 7 am and he spent 20 mins figuring out the situation. The plumber says he needs to get the part. I have camera footage of him leaving at 7:23 am and he comes back at 9:03 am with the part. He takes 10 mins to complete the installation and he’s out of my house at 9:15. I don’t receive an invoice until 3 weeks later (they used to give it to you on the spot) and this plumber writes his time out as 9:30 am. He has the audacity to upcharge me another 1/2 hour when he already billed me while he was out of my house for over an hour and a half from 7:23 to 9:03 am.

*edit: they made things right and gave me a credit, but still don’t think the plumber should’ve done that to me

Had a plumbing issue and they kept delaying on when they would show up for our appointment all day. The last time they said oh we couldn't get there until 8:00 p.m. is that okay and we said sure that's fine we just wanted to get this handled and then they never showed up and never called or texted after that. Terrible service.
