My experience with Sam's Plumbing And Rodding was excellent from start to finish. I appreciate the level of customer service and professionalism which was provided. I received a call approximately 30 minutes prior to the technician arriving so that I could meet them. He arrived, explained what repair was needed and kept me informed through the process.

Mike and Dan are very knowledgeable and honest! We were having problems with our sump pump . They came explained problem and fixed it quickly. I never recommend people, but I would definitely recommend them!

Had a serious sewer issue last week . John came over very quickly. He assessed the issue and started work the next day. It was a multi day job and his team worked as fast and efficiently as possible to get the job done right. He also helped me navigate with the insurance company to get a quick reimbursement.

Had water coming from bathtub spout going down the wall. The spout had a crack and was replaced. Later that day I go in to fine water dripping from new spout. Job half done and wanted me to pay extra to complete what should have been fixed for first time

My apartment building hired them and the tenants had to be relocated to hotels. So the workers had access to our apartments and all of my fine jewelry came up missing!!! Had to file a police report!!

showed up with 1 hr of calling. the part needed had to be ordered. the plumber told me to either install it myself or hire a handyman when it comes in as it's an easy job that doesn't justify his $140/hr. real nice guy and honest.

Joe was the best. Was quick , on time & explained everything in detail . Good price too.

I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).
