Best Sewer Camera Inspection in Chicago IL
We recently revamped our main bathroom, installing all new floor and shower tile, a new shower door and a new vanity. We called Rescue Plumbing to have someone come by and reconnect all our pipes and install the new shower and sink fixtures, and we had a great experience. Pete and his assistant (I believe his name was Noah) came by to take a look at everything and gave us a very informative and candid assessment and explanation of what needed to be done and why. Pete made some recommendations on what sink fixtures would be good to order and they came back after we received everything and did the install. Everything turned out great and we appreciated their responsiveness and timeliness throughout the process — we have some other plumbing projects that we need to get done and we’ll definitely be using Rescue Plumbing for all of them!

Pete and Noah were called in for an emergency water backup situation. They showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. They walked me through what was going on and what they were doing because they needed to use a sewer camera. Let me tell you, I have fond respect for someone like Pete who’s been doing this for a while, had the professional courtesy to educate his clients and inform them every step of the way. Listing out all the options and being totally candid about all that is being done. Would recommend them to anyone having any sort of water/plumbing situation.

Do not waste your time. They are money grubers and will charge whatever they want! They have no basic value, just whatever the inspector calls it, that's how much it will cost is what I was told. They wanted over $650 to unclog my grandma's shower drain. With no parts, no tax, no additional fees. Then what is worth that much? Its definitely not the travel because we are within their radius! No thank you. Never again. Might as well install a new shower!

Initially I reached out to Rob's shop because they were local and I like the idea of working with small businesses. Unfortunately, that is what plagued them in the end.
My needs were not an urgent plumbing matter- my shower only dispensed really hot water, borderline scalding, which is not pleasant to use, but I've been dealing with it for a few months now.
After playing some phone tag to reach them, I was able to explain my needs to Ralph. He promised he would call me back the next day with a quote on the work and to schedule a time to come out. Three days later I still had not received a follow-up call. I called in and had to re-explain my needs to a different guy, but ultimately he had to have Ralph call me back to schedule a time.
We scheduled them to come out on a Wednesday morning. I took the morning off of work to be home while they worked. They said they would be there between 7-7:30 and didn't show until 8:30. After taking my shower apart, they informed me they did not have the right part and needed to visit their supplier and would have to take my part with them. They also informed me that it could not be done in the same day and they would have to come back tomorrow. There was also the chance that it would be a different technician. I was not very comfortable with the idea that the guy who would be putting it back together was not the same person who took it apart.
It was the end of the day and I still had not heard from Ralph about when they would be coming out the next morning - I'll have to take off from work then too. I called in and Ralph informed me that they do not have enough guys to send out tomorrow and would have to wait until at least Friday before they could come out. This puts me without a usable shower for 2 days. They did eventually complete the job and which was satisfactory.
Bottom line is they are a small shop and they operate like one. Their prices were a little high. You might expect a lower price given they have less overhead than a bigger company.

Last Monday, I left the house while tensed and didn’t know how the leakage and flooding at my home would eventually look like. Lucky enough, the technicians from 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC were able to arrive and took control of the situation.

I’d highly recommend Rescue Plumbing and especially Pete and Noah. I called Rescue to inspect a clog my vent stack and Pete and Noah came by a few hours later and earlier than scheduled. They were both friendly and professional throughout the entire visit, they did a thorough inspection and tried to resolve the issue, and then provided a detailed explanation of the problem and expected costs. All around good and trustworthy and would call again for any plumbing issue.

Just had Andersen Plumbing out to my home due to a clogged drain. East scheduling, prompt service within days, and definitely on time and very professional. Reggie came and diagnosed the issue to be coming from the drain out to our catch basin. Of course the clog was not a simple clog, but Reggie got it taken care of and did a wonderful job. Will definitely call Andersen Plumbing if any other issues arise. I am so glad we have found a local neighborhood company.

the best! matt was responsive and understanding, and i can't speak highly enough of tony who took time to explain everything to us. tony also went above and beyond by preserving our perennial plants during the underground pipe installation. these guys couldn't be any nicer or more talented in all they do. #bestofthebest
