Excellent service! I would recommend J Sewer and Drain Plumbing Inc. To anyone I’ve used them many times for are buildings. They are good in communicating with us and knowledge, they will not try to make you do work that is not needed. They have saved me many times.

We had a mystery problem with our sump and ejector pumps. First Chicago took the time to understand exactly what was going on, recommended the right course of action, and was there in no time. Professional, responsive, and helpful every step of the way!

They would have gotten five stars if they had cleaned up a bit more thoroughly. I would have given 4.5 if it had been an option.

We have used Edwin and CPI for many years now. The company is responsive, addresses the acuity of our problems and prioritizes, are on time, reasonably priced and trustworthy. I would recommend hiring this company and will continue to call them for all our plumbing needs.

My plumber was Juan Zarate - great communication skills, prompt, and knew what he was doing. I had an issue when Juan finished the job because of some shoddy work that was done by a separate plumber, and Juan came back (twice!) without hesitation. Great service. Thank you.

Pete Ismail from Rescue Plumbing did an excellent job investigating issues with our building's sewer system, explaining what is required to repair the issue, and completing the large project. He also was gave us great guidelines for routine maintenance of the system.

Update to the below: A few months after writing this review, J Blanton came through for us during an emergency burst pipe situation. Based on the way this was handled and the thorough communication (with photographs!) throughout the process, I am thinking that the issues I raised in my initial review have likely been addressed. Moreover I think Jane and the J Blanton team really shared my disappointment following the multiple no call / now show experiences that prompted me to write the review - they took the feedback seriously and as far as I can tell, addressed it with their team. Most importantly, and this has always been true for me: they really do quality work.Going forward I will continue to use J Blanton for plumbing concerns although I am a little hesitant about getting left hanging again. But I am cautiously optimistic.---Original review:Very sad to be posting this review since I considered J Blanton my go-to for plumbing and HVAC for a long time. Their plumbers and techs were all very polite and professional over the years. But getting someone to actually come to our house has officially become more trouble than its worth. After buying a new house this year I had work done by J Blanton no less than six or seven times, spending a grand total of $4,334.00. And that is only between March - June of 2019! But I will not be calling them again because at some point in the recent past, their ability to schedule, plan, and manage expectations has inexplicably vanished. On three separate occasions within the last month I called J Blanton to address some concerns in our home. All three times were no call / no shows. Well, let me correct that: there were calls - WE called THEM to find out when the tech was going to arrive and the routine was more or less the same each time:First call, when the arrival window had passed: The tech is on his way, he will be a little later than expected.Second call, an hour or so later: So sorry, we are dealing with a lot of emergencies today, here's a new arrival window.Third call: Can you reschedule?Staying home all day to wait for service that never comes is frustrating. But it happens. Once is no big deal. Twice is a little concerning. THREE TIMES in the same month? There's a systemic problem that needs addressing.Adding insult to injury is the fact that we paid a few hundred bucks to be part of J Blanton's *No Drip Club* which supposedly offers Priority Scheduling on Service Calls. It seemed like a good idea in the beginning of the year when we knew we would be doing a lot of work on our place, and sure, I guess we saved a few bucks. But at no point did I feel like I was being prioritized. In fact when I mentioned this on two occasions when calling to find out when someone would be arriving to our house, they told me yeah, you should be getting priority service, not sure what is happening here, I will mention this to my manager and so on. Obviously nothing changed though. They should rename it the Suckers Club.I recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing and HVAC service until J Blanton gets its house in order. There are too many other companies out there to justify putting up with this level of frustration.

Warning this place charges by the hour not the job. They took advantage and charged me thousands of dollars when I needed emergency labor. Do not use them. I recently needed more plumbing work for a different non emergency project and after getting more quotes I received a free hour estimate and a reasonably fixed price for the work. when I asked them about doing work they tried to charge me extra to come out in the snow and the operator Ray was extremely rude. Please beware they are a rip off and I would def never use them again.

Disclosing for ethical purposes that this is a paid review although I was going to leave one anyway. I got a quick response and an appointment set up the next day for a non-emergency kitchen sink leak. Logan and Djenkis came to help and were very professional, prompt and respectful. Logan explained that the leak is due to the garbage disposals age/quality and the drain pipe cracking and leaking. They changed everything in a timely manner with no issue. They also explained everything to me, including the fact that they used an expensive, quality disposal because of its reliability. The total was $620.

My furnace didn’t start up the day before the cold wave came through. I said, Lord who do I call. I was driving on near 87th & Stoney Island where I saw Mr. Burris driving his company truck. I called to schedule service. Mr. Burris came out on time. He discovered the problem immediately which was the fan belt.He made the repair within minutes. I was very pleased to have heat on the coldest night of the season. Mr. Burris is the man to call for all your HVAC or plumbing work. He is a true gem & asset to the community.

John was great from the beginning. Before we even hired him, I sent John some pictures of some work my neighbor was having done very close to my property line and John came out that day to make sure the other company wasn't interfering with anything on my end and he was actually able to get the city inspector over the same day just to double check the neighbors work as well. As far as my work goes, John and his guys did amazing work. Only took them 2 days to finish installing a flapper(parital flood control system) in my front yard. I would 100% recommend John @ Loves Plumbing and Sewer. I am actually going to hire him again soon to install plumbing for a new bathroom in our basement.

We had two plumbing companies come out to give us an estimate on a job. Benjamin from Apex was extremely professional and courteous and provided an estimate extremely quickly. The second company came out and we asked them a few questions about what Benjamin had told us and they were completely unable to answer they also didn’t provide a timely estimate. Apex and Benjamin are excellent plumbers and business people as they get the job done with the upmost professionalism. Additionally, I was home with a newborn baby who was a little fussy and Benjamin had a tip on how to hold her to calm her down. Thanks, Apex and Benjamin!
