Best Repair Problems in Chicago IL

My experience was excellent. Andre#89 71 was very informative and helpful. He identified and explained the issue in detailed. Most importantly, he did not charge me unnecessary charges. He took the initiative to identify other areas that needed to be addressed and contacted his co-worker who was an expert in that particular area. Andre was very professional and had great interpersonal skills. I thought the fee was a little much, but Andre did provide excellent service which made swiping my card less painful(smile). I have found me a new company to address my plumbing concerns. I was very satisfied with Andre, the quick services I received, and customer service given by everyone at this company. I think the price was high, but that would be the only somewhat negative remark I have to make. GREAT JOB, and THANK YOU SO MUCH ANDRE # 89 71.

DO NOT CONTRACT VANGUARD PLUMBING FOR LEAK INSPECTIONS

Our condo association contracted Vanguard Plumbing for inspecting a leak in our condo building a few weeks back. They charge close to $2000 for a leak inspection visit (10 times higher than average leak inspection) and came to the conclusion that our unit is solely responsible for the leak with no visual evidence. No photo or video evidence identifying the leak is indeed from our unit. The inspection report is merely one sentence. Based on Vanguard's inspection, we ripped our bathroom open to expose the pipes that Vanguard has deemed to be the origin of the leak and asked them to come back on site to find the actual leak. Their response is they are actually not sure where the leak is because they cannot see through walls. And they will not follow through with previous inspection result and actually find the leak. So what are we paying close to $2000 for? A guess? At this point Vanguard is liable for their inspection result and need to follow through with evidence of actually finding and fixing the leak. If you don't want to pay $2000 for inspecting a leak and not actually finding the problem, DO NOT USE VANGUARD.

I know their business have a lot of good reviews from various plumbing work. I'm providing this perspective on their inspection service.

Jeff came out same day and fixed the clogged kitchen sink and checked the garbage disposal. Highly recommend!

Jesus was one of the first to contact us back after sending out a few messages on yelp in the early morning about getting our water heater replaced ASAP. He was able to see us that day and had a water heater available. Although it was a bit complicated getting our old one out and the new one installed due to the way it was originally installed and the available space in our unit, Jesus was very professional and did an excellent job. We will definitely call him in the future and highly recommend him!

Eugene from first Chicago was the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with. He got me quotes quickly, adjusted the invoice as work changed, and kept me informed about progress. The plumbers that he sent out to do the job were extremely professional, explained to me what they were doing, answered any questions I had, and went above and beyond with the plumbing. They worked two very long days. Highly highly recommended. Their pricing was competitive.

your worker inspected our problem, I followed his advice and bought a quality replacement, he returned and installed the new piece. We love the easy function of the new well made, well installed equipment.

TERRIBLE!!!! They charged an insane amount and the person didn’t even fix our problem, but lied and said he did. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I called with a leak problem on Good Friday. I tried calling another company before contacting J. Blanton but because of the holiday, no one could come. But J. Blanton said they could send someone and in record time. Chip and Keith came out; Chip came back the following Monday to install the new shower head. He was professional and very nice. I’m very impressed with J. Blanton and will use them all the time.

Zuñiga was responsive to our emergent issue. They immediately fixed leaks going to the water heater first to allowed the gas company to restore gas the same day. Since it was late in the evening, the remaining gas lines were isolated and fixed the following day

Michael came out this morning to repair our ejector pump that has been giving us issues for some time now. He was on time, quick and didn't charge us extra money for being in such a rush. Will use again for any future plumbing repairs.

We used Loves Plumbing for an extensive renovation project and we can't say enough great things about the work that was done. We had a BIG project and lived in the house while the project took place, which can obviously make for a stressful experience. John was tremendously helpful in making sure we were taken care of throughout the project even going out of his way to text and follow up with us on nights and weekends to ensure we were managing ok. John was timely, honest, straight forward and was great to work with; he is our recommendation to friends and family.

The main line from my home to the sewer needed repair. Thomas from Chicago and Sewer gave me a fair quote and did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this company again if needed.

Great experience with William & Antoine. Nice, honest guys that stuck with me throughout a few hiccups with parts. Work was done efficiently and correctly. All problems were solved completely and I just wish I had called earlier.

Not long after moving into a new home, we had water bubbling into the walls, through the door frame, and down the hallway upstairs. Accurate correctly diagnosed over the phone that it was an A/C condensation pipe that was causing it. They were then able to schedule someone to come find the root cause much sooner than other plumbers. (Turns out a Freedom Heating & Cooling tech inadvertently kicked a pipe loose while rummaging through the attic to fix our busted A/C a few days prior). Problem solved, and Walt at Accurate hooked us up with Chicago Water and Fire Restoration, who did a fantastic job repairing the affected areas.

Then another call to Accurate a month later, for two leaky sinks. Fast, friendly, very informative.

Then again a few months after that for a hyperactive sump pump. Turns out our mechanical room is filled with things not up to code that the home inspector didn't catch. Like PVC encased in a tonne of concrete. Walt and his associate worked in the cold rain for several hours, installing a backup sump pump, and performing forensics to demystify our Frankenplumbing. Once done he was patient enough to explain everything in lay-terms, made sure I knew what to watch out for in the future, made suggestions for a home generator to power the sump pumps, and provided low-cost options for later plumbing renovations.

Based on my experience, I can recommend without hesitation.

After the initial consultation for over head sewers this company refused to return my calls or give me an estimate for the job to be done. I sent several text messages and left voicemails and they weren't even courteous enough to return them. There are many companies to choose from in the area. Avoid this one.

Considering that our pool plumbing issue was very difficult, they considered us a priority. Our pool plumbing repair was skillfully performed by these experts. This really made my day!

I called,they came out the next morning and hot the job done!
