We had a kitchen sink blockage we needed fixed in a hurry. We were able to get a same day appointment and Pete and Noah were great! We've hired these guys a few times for a number of jobs. They're professional and get the job done. I feel like the prices might be a bit high, but it's hard to compare, as we usually just go with them.

One thing I love, as a home owner hiring people to do various work - they're not stuck in the stone age. I can schedule online, they send emails and texts with pictures of who is showing up, they send emails with pictures and videos of the job, and other things that make the whole deal more convenient.

Needed water line installed for fridge. Did great work, explained what had to happened before work was started and explained what was done after. Very transparent on price.

Tony showed up within an hour and half of my first call. He diagnosed my problem within minutes...a broken faucet. He had no problem answering all my questions regarding future projects. I am very pleased with the service I recieved from this local business.

We contacted rescue plumbing to replace our aging water heater. They were very prompt and did an excellent job! We had Vance come out and they even cleaned up the utility closet after it was all complete. I will definitely use them again.

Chris just left after replacing a sump pump that went out yesterday. I had emailed late last night, and had a response first thing this morning. This is the second time I've used Captain Rooter - the first was when a team replaced my Hot Water Heater on a Sunday night back in March. This time around, I didn't even call anyone else. They've earned my business moving forward.

I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

I had a big problem at home with completely clogged bathtub. That was in the evening and we couldn't even use it. I called this company and the plumber named Ben came and did the miracle job. I say miracle, because there was a problem with access to the pipes, since we live in quite old building.Ben, as well as the office lady were very nice and professional. The whole service was fast and they were courteous enough to waive some fee for us.I will definitely call the again if any plumbing issue should occur in the future!
