Nate showed up 15 minutes early, which is fantastic! Punctuality is a must when waiting for people to come fix your home. He was very professional and explained things in a manner that was easy to understand! We will use John Baetzel and Son next time we need a plumber and will ask for Nate!

I have used First Chicago Plumbing many times over the last few years. They are the first call I make when we have issues. They do a fantastic job! Very nice people, professional and knowledgeable.

A neighbor recommended Goode Plumbing, and I'm happy I hired them to help find the source of a leak under our kitchen sink.Not only did they find the source — our garbage disposal was shot, and leaking to boot — but they also discovered some shoddy piping and cut corners during our sink installation.Trevor and his helper (sorry, friend, I didn't catch your name!) were professional, efficient, transparent about costs, and willing to explain everything they were doing to this curious, new-ish homeowner.Tiffany and Amanda in the office were also super communicative and made sure I had realistic expectations about when the team would arrive.My receipt invited me to have a Goode day, and they definitely helped with that!I'll be hiring Goode again to replace our water heater when it's time, and for any future plumbing needs.

Called at 8:00 am with a significant leak into unit below. They were at my unit within three hours identified problem, and gave me cost within 60 minutes. Price was fair based on work and new piping needed.

Eric was wonderful as I called him on a Sunday morning due to a clogged and over flowing toilet. He quoted a fair and reasonable price, came out immediately and provided excellent service. He fixed my toilet within 10 minutes. I’m grateful to have found him online and if need be, will use him again! I highly recommend him and he was very safe coming into my home!

TERRIBLE!!!! They charged an insane amount and the person didn’t even fix our problem, but lied and said he did. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Power Plumbing replaced the failed wax ring which caused problems downstairs; they successfully dealt with the bad original installation of the toilet, unclogged the bathroom sink, and replaced parts which caused the toilet to run so often. I smiled as I wrote the check. Highest recommendation.

Service tech arrived promptly in under 1/2hr after I received a call he was intransit. One of the competitions showed up unannounced while Eric was finishing up the job . The 3rd & 4th competitors were no shows. Eric was professional, courteous and cordial. He was accommodating with the fact that it was a short run problem and was very salesman like in negotiating an accommodating price. He was quick to remove his equipment & get to work. He was again very professional and personable while inspecting the site with his camera. He spoke very highly of his company and the other tech.'s. I will not hesitate to call Sam's Plumbing And Rodding again & I will ask for Eric by name.

They do good work, but the amount they up charge is unbelievable. Here are their rates: $198 for the first hour; $89 for each 1/2 hour after. I was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor.

I had a plumbing job at 7 am and he spent 20 mins figuring out the situation. The plumber says he needs to get the part. I have camera footage of him leaving at 7:23 am and he comes back at 9:03 am with the part. He takes 10 mins to complete the installation and he’s out of my house at 9:15. I don’t receive an invoice until 3 weeks later (they used to give it to you on the spot) and this plumber writes his time out as 9:30 am. He has the audacity to upcharge me another 1/2 hour when he already billed me while he was out of my house for over an hour and a half from 7:23 to 9:03 am.

*edit: they made things right and gave me a credit, but still don’t think the plumber should’ve done that to me

I requested a water heater repair and they told me that a service call to come out will be $59 and then they will tell me the price for repair, the service call fee would come out of the repair cost of I decide to go with them.
A guy comes out quickly, tells me in order to even tell me what's wrong with the heater and to run diagnostic on it, it will be another $474!!!! $59 includes him knocking on my door basically, nothing else. I know my water heater is not working, I know what I did to come to this conclusion, I don't need to spend $59 for someone else to tell me this. Don't waste your money, go with a smaller firm. Complete ripoff, never again.

Sam and his team were very responsive. I received a call back within hours. He was able to come out the same day and shortly after he was able to give us an estimate. Sam was very knowledgeable and was awesome with helping us plan and decide on the final project. Once my husband and I made the final decision, we had a new water heater in less than a week. He and his team had great communication throughout the whole process. They were on time and correctly estimated how long the project would take. I will definitely be hiring Sam and his team in the future for other plumbing projects we have. Even with the cold weather, Sam was eager to help us out and complete this project right!
