Jesus came out a few months ago to find out what was wrong with our sewer line. We had back ups and there was a large tree root which blocked the sewer line. We had catastrophic flooding in our basement. He dug up the basement and fixed the problem. No more odor, no more flooding. We now have his crew fixing our sink. I would recommend his wholeheartedly.

Hands down BEST customer service I have EVER experienced! We had a major backup in our kitchen and within 45mins (not even!) he arrived and knew what the problem was by me just explaining my issue. He is VERY knowledgeable and wasn't pushy with services and up-charging. He finished the job quickly, efficiently and even tested the sink and dishwasher to make sure I was happy with his work. I first used the service of Power Plumbing over 10 years ago. They were recommended by the company who serviced my kitchen cabinets. I had always wanted a dishwasher and had been told by 3 different plumbers that it couldn't be done because of the location of my pipes.
Jason from Power Plumbing came to my home and stated calmly, It can be done. In the 8 years that I had that dishwasher I never had a problem. And so when I decided to upgrade my appliances, I called Power again and requested Jason. Once again Jason installed my new dishwasher with no problem.
Over the past years whenever I have had a plumbing issue I do not hesitate to call Power Plumbing. Each service technician has not only been professional, but courteous and respectful of my home. And that is very important to me.

How refreshing to have a business run in such a straightforward and professional manner. The girl on the phone was very nice and was very clear about how they operate. Our serviceman, who's name i don't remember, was just as nice and very clear about what he was going to do and for what price. Plus, my backed up drain is now running freely. What else can you ask for.

They were great, from Jenny's cheerful voice on the phone to Geoff's professional and efficient service. We had dropped a wedding ring down the sink. Geoff quickly retrieved it and fixed things so that next time anything falls down the drain it would be easier to get back. And, he had time to install the new faucet that we've been contemplating for months.

I had a big problem at home with completely clogged bathtub. That was in the evening and we couldn't even use it. I called this company and the plumber named Ben came and did the miracle job. I say miracle, because there was a problem with access to the pipes, since we live in quite old building.Ben, as well as the office lady were very nice and professional. The whole service was fast and they were courteous enough to waive some fee for us.I will definitely call the again if any plumbing issue should occur in the future!

John Folan is a genius! We flooded 5 times in the 9 years we lived in our home. Two years ago we went to John through local recommendations. We have an older Sears and Robuck catelog home - we thought we would be stuck having a flooding basement forever!Hiring John was the best thing we have ever done. This past week, during the torrential rain storm we had NO WATER in our basement! NONE! We have always been the victims to several feet of sewer water, this past storm was intense..what a test! Not a drop! nothing! John did not charge us an arm and a leg, he was reasonable, professional - he was done in 3 days like he promised!If your tired of water in your basement - call John Folan!!! you won't be sorry!

We had a kitchen sink backup in our ground-floor condo unit on a Sunday evening. The plumbers arrived within an hour and routed the drain twice with no success. While one of them tried a third time, the second went down to the building garage to listen at the point where the common drain attaches to the sewer. Sure enough you could hear and feel the rodding knocking about in the pipe. But still no luck clearing the drain. They offered to return the next day with a truck to jet the line at a cost of $1800. We signed the proposal but since the pipe is a common drain we reviewed the situation Monday morning with our condo management company. They have a designated plumber and also noted that the cost to the association would be far less. So we cancelled the jetting but paid out of pocket at Sunday evening rates for the work of the two plumbers we had engaged from Captain Rooter. The next day the association's plumbers appeared at our door with the same type of power rodder fitted with a 75-foot cable and corkscrew end. They successfully cleared the clog. They asked about the plumbing job of the previous evening and thought possibly the Captain Rooter equipment cable was too short. In fact, the plumbers on Sunday had some dialog between them about the rodder on their truck having been switched - not by them - to one with a shorter cable that was missing a corkscrew at the tip. So in the end we are left with a distinct feeling that Captain Rooter arrived with equipment that wasn't adequate for the task, and then offered a jetting alternative at a price that seems far above the average for our area. Jetting vs rodding is a debatable issue but in our case the management company decided to begin with normal rodding. While the Captain Rooter guys were professional, personable, and worked hard for the hour they spent on our drain, the experience for us was a costly disappointment.
