Best Shower Repair in Chesapeake VA

Would not use Superior Plumbing again. Previously had them do replumbing of our house and service was fine. This time we had a leaking pipe where it comes into the house. First time they showed up it was raining, so they said they would have to come back the next day to be able to assess if that was where the leak was. Ok, not a problem, makes sense. Next day they randomly showed up, did not contact me, made the repair, but butchered our camellia bush. It looks terrible and I doubt it will survive. Contacted Superior and they dismissed it as just a minor pruning and said it will be fine. Please see pictures. If they were going to cut 2/3rds of my camellia down they could have at least contacted me. Very disappointed.

Called Newman's and it sounded like just a call center. Quoted me something ridiculous without even looking at the job. Use caution...

I have a hundred year old house in Ocean View with all of the troubles that accompany older structures. These guys came out and did a great and efficient job on clearing tree roots from my sewer line. They are courteous, professional, and I like them so much I am going to ask them to do a larger repair job on the line to prevent the problem in the future. I dislike not doing work on my home myself because I am almost always disappointed in not only the quality of the work but the ineptitude and lack of care with the work that is done. A.B Parker & Son reminded me that there are still some good people out there that I CAN trust to do a good job. Thank you, Mark and the gentleman who accompanied you!

they were easy to get in touch with and personable however, i paid for a clog to be cleared and in clearing the original clog another was caused that didn’t exist prior to having them come out. i’m sure overall bay breeze does good work but i was unhappy with the work i received.

edit: they did come to my house. the tech was named justin and i spoke to robin on the phone. i have the charge on my account for bay breeze plumbing. 🙂

TLDR: Rude & never showed up. Guy on the phone sounded disgruntled at life in general and was pretty rude, so I had a hunch when I originally called to make an appointment that these folks were going to be a problem. Against my better judgment, I made the appointment anyways because a friend had recommended them. Sure enough, they never even showed up. I even called to confirm the day before. I took off work to be home during the morning time block they specified so they didn't just waste my time, they wasted one of my sick days. If you can't even trust these jokers to show up when they say they will, how can you trust them to do decent work? I hope this review saves someone else a headache.

They were recommended to me by a neighbor, and I see why. Fast, helpful, transparent about the problem and potential fixes. Will use them again.

I am over the moon with this company. I had a clog and called Roto Rooter. They wanted to charge me 700 dollars and said it could take hours to fix. Roto rooter was also late. I got on Facebook and asked my moms where to go. Everyone recommended Norfolk plumbing. They were very polite and on time. I ended up paying 170 for one hour. They got done in about a half an hour which was amazing. I was so scared and I have kids and couldn't afford 700. I would never use another company. I see why they came so highly recommended. The guys were so nice too. I was nervous and they were reassuring me the whole time.

Jim and company were on time and got the job done quickly, even on a Sunday evening. They were detail-oriented and were expeditious in replacing our hot water heater and cleaning up the water from the leak. They went above and beyond in meeting our needs and could not recommend highly enough.

I had A-1 come to my house last night to fix a bathtub. They worked around my hours and did great work fixing the bathtub. My two complaints, after seeing what was wrong and needed to be fixed I was quoted $375 for the repairs. This was far more than it should have been for the little amount of work that it took. Even though I wasn't thrilled about the price, I bit the bullet and decided to have them go ahead and do the work so I knew it would be done correctly. My biggest complaint: I told the plumber that I had a coupon from online that gave me 15% off all plumbing repairs. He looked at me and said, See, the thing is I already gave you a huge discount as he shrugged his shoulders. First, that is a lie!!!! It took 20-30 minutes and $10 dollars worth of materials to fix my bathtub. (The piece that was messed up was brand new as he pointed out to me when giving me the qoute.) Second, how can you not honor a coupon after a quote is given? If I said I had the coupon prior to receiving my quote, would my cost have been over $400???? Unfortunately for A-1, the fact that my shower is fixed does not out weight the fact their people lacked integrity during my interaction with them last night. I will not ever be doing business with them again. I will stick to small local private owned plumber businesses from now on.

Unreliable. Told me many times they’d be here at a certain time but never showed up on time. Waiting hours juts to arrive to reschedule me for another day.

Stay clear of this company. Famous last words we will call you back. They never call back and are extremely unprofessional.
