They were on time, professional, and got the job done quickly and right. The quality of service was great. I will wait to offer my opinion on the quality of the replacement parts. The price was close to inline with others.

Will and Shamarr were very professional and fixed our shower leak. We have used Norfolk Plumbing for over 20 years and have never been dissatisfied.

Excellent service and honest friendly people. Ruth is amazing to work with and understand scheduling and also when these dont go as plan and walks the path with you. Got a shower faucet replace- was told by other company they needed to cut into drywall at my own extra cost- they didnt and was very clean about their work environment- my house! They installed a new gas line for a new stove and when the stove was delayed almost three months- ruth called in about every month just so see how it was going and to assure me they will still hook it up for me. They also moved an outaide faucet that was in deck stairs and leaking and fixed both of the problem. Steve the plumber was very educational about what he was doing and also safety and upkeep advice!! Totally recommend they to anyone who needs a honest plumber that wouldnt overcharge and does a great and proud job!! Thank you for making several stressful jobs a wonderful experience to see there are still honest and nice people out there. Take care till my next job!

We had an appointment with a competitor from 8am-12pm but at 4pm they still hadn't shown. My neighbor was having work done by Norfolk Plumbing across the street and as they were leaving I asked if they could take a look at my broken valve. Immediately they gave me a fair quote and the work was completed on the spot in less than 20 minutes. I immediately put their number in my cell phone should we need them again. Thank you Alex & Brian for going the extra mile!

$30 in Miscellaneous Materials. They used about 1/32 of a tube of calk and MY wax ring. When I called to see what those materials were the lady on the phone literally couldn't give me an answer.

Also $169 an hour (or less) is pretty harsh, especially when I had to wait a week for them to show up.

The plumber himself clearly knew a thing or two about plumbing though. He was polite professional.

EDIT: If they didn't use my wax ring, they stole my wax ring and hardware. I was told they would caulk around the edges of the shower hardware and they INSISTED on replacing my wax ring in the toilet even though the leak ONLY occurs when we use the shower. I was told thats a good place to start and they would come back later. That is all. I gave them my extra wax ring, they said they were going to use it and when they left it was no longer sitting next to the toilet where I left it for them.

Also, I watched them do about 90% of the work in the bathroom and at no point did i see them install a supply tube and a tank seal. They never even mentioned that i needed new ones. They applied some caulk and tried to charge me almost $200 for it.

Lastly, why was that not on the original statement anyway? The statement had 1 Miscellaneous Materials. That's it. Probably because they are comfortable overcharging people who normally just pay without questioning.

What is a Supply Tube and Tank seal, and if they are real things how did they install both in the 5 minutes where I wasn't watching them?

Alex and Brian went above and beyond while here. They resolved the issue in a timely manner and the rates are spectacular. Highly recommend-we don’t use anybody but Norfolk Plumbing. They are amazing!

They look if though it was hard task but will still call if i have a need and I waited all day and they came. past time scheduled and had to call for a price after they got here . Because the job look pricey.

The team was on time, friendly, and resolved our issue promptly. They were also able to advise on a long term solution to prevent more roots from getting into our main drain line to the street.

Not sure why I didn't call these folks months ago. Arrived on time and were very quick. Had a blocked washer drain that I tried to clear several times with no luck. They were in and out in no time and the drain now does what it's supposed to do! Happy wife...Happy life!!

They were having phone problems the day I tried to call and every time I called the employee asked to put me on hold....which then hung up on me. On my first call back she let me know they were having phone problems. I understand issues like that happen, but when I finally got through (after 3rd hold-hang up) and explained to the employee what my plumbing problem was and that I would like someone to come to the house to assess and estimate the cost...she said ok, let me put you on hold Knowing that every time she put someone on hold they were disconnected, in effect she was hanging up on me. I found it a little comical, but Norfolk Plumbing is so big that repeatedly(and knowingly) hanging up on customers won't put a dent in their business. Customer service suggestion- if you know that you're having phone problems and your customers are being hung up on...why not take their numbers and offer to call back when the lines aren't so busy. Its a shame I can't get past the receptionist to appreciate their well reviewed plumbing work.

Excellent company. I had an outdoor shower and natural gas to a fireplace installed and they delivered. I’m super impressed with the craftsmanship and their professionalism. Ruth who does all their scheduling is always on top of things and quickly scheduling all inspections from the city. 💯 would work with them again.

I had a plumber come out to give me an estimate as we have water that is running from a damaged water main….I took time off work to be there and was told I would receive an estimate in 3 days…..after 3 days I called to see if they had estimate they did not do I was told that I would be first on the list Monday for an estimate fast forward 2 weeks after they came to do estimate …I just called again and was told it’s still not ready….this company came highly recommended and I am super disappointed with the lack of response and professionalism….I guess you aren’t looking for new clients.

Great work. Two plumbers from Norfolk Plumbing (Chris and Steve) were on time, honest and skilled at their work. They replaced several corroded pipes in less than an hour. And they were very respectful. I will be recommending Norfolk Plumbing to all of my friends and family - great work!

I have used Norfolk plumbing for years. They did a plumbing build out from commercial to residential… excellent. I was slightly hesitant to call them because Jeff Hux sold the business. Well, no worries. Just as great as always, even the main plumber had been here before. Wonderful work from Ridge and Caleb. They even were nice to my annoying dog.

In my master bath, I had issues with a leaky shower drain, running toilet, and an incorrect pipe under the sink. They fixed everything within an hour and left no trace. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the service I received. I had several problems with a recently renovated master bath that plumber 1 refused to come back to repair. Plumber 2 misdiagnosed it, did not fix the problem and still charged me. Plumber 3 was on the right track but did not complete the job and still charged me. Finally, I called Norfolk Plumbing. Rob was on time and went straight to the problem. He fixed it so quickly that I asked if he could take care of a couple of other things, which he was glad to do. He completely resolved every plumbing issue I had been having for months! I own rental properties and have worked with a number of plumbers over the years, hands down Norfolk Plumbing is the best! I would have written this review sooner but I have been waiting on the bill; it arrived and is incredibly fair-less than the 2 who failed before! A++++++++

Excellent service! I called just before the holiday weekend about a back up in the kitchen sink and laundry. I was told they would put me on the service list for the day and come out to try to take care of it before the end of day. Within an hour the service tech called and said they were on the way! They were quick, courteous, thorough, clean and the price was fair (I've had similar service before from other companies). Very happy with my experience and will use them again. Professional and friendly.

The experts from Norfolk Plumbing fixed my water radiator heating system after having been told by other heating/cooling companies that I just need to give up on it and get a HVAC system. I like my radiant heat and was determined to get it fixed. I contacted Norfolk plumbing and they were very passionate about finding the issue esp since my home was built in 1910 and had additions built to it and had some old pipes. After checking everything out they were able to find a hidden panel that I had no clue about where the valves were located. They came back and changed out the valve and I have heat again! Thanks Norfolk plumbing for spending the time to figure it out vs trying to sell me a new system.

Plumber Ridge skilled professionally. Always know what to do. Office staff give inaccurate information about the appointment and fails to keep the customers updated with changes. Since the past year visits are never less then $200 so be prepared. I wasted over 4 hours waiting for the plumber today that time at work would have help paid the cost today. Sure hope the new owner will consider at discount...if not for Ridge I will consider another plumbinqg company.

The plumbing technician was outstanding He was professional, very knowledgeable, and the faucet installation was done flawlessly.

We called after 3pm on the eve of a tropical storm, as in the prep for the storm, our front tap blew off the house gushing water everywhere. Going through a storm with no fresh water would have been a bit tough. I did a quick google search and Norfolk plumbing came up so i gave them a call. The lady was real nice on the phone and Steven was at our house in less than 30 mins. He quickly fixed the issue and was incredibly polite considering he was originally on his way home when he got the call to come fix our issue. Thanks for the help and we will use you in the future.

Norfolk Plumbing is awesome! We have a home built in 1897 and Norfolk Plumbing did a great job re-plumbing much of it and installing new fixtures throughout the house, about 7 years ago. It's all been working perfectly and, in the meantime, we've relied on them for everything from a clogged sewer line outside the home to replacing a sink we broke, and even retrieving something dropped in the sink! They are always responsive, professional, stand by their work and decent price.

I woke up to water pouring into my living room right next to the Christmas tree! Norfolk Plumbing was called by my landlord soon after. They arrived quickly and found the leak just as fast. They were very helpful clean and friendly. I was so impressed with them. The plumber made sure that everything was clean before he left.

We had a plumber from another company come earlier this year and he was 1.5hrs late and didn't leave until late into the night. I was expecting similar experience. I am so happy that my whole day wasn't wasted.

I cannot speak highly enough about Norfolk Plumbing (or the fact I've had to have so many interactions that I CAN speak so highly). Toilet backed up unexpectedly, call Norfolk Plumbing Inc towards the end of the day. They went out of their way to send Alex and Jerome out. Arrived within an hour and did a superb job of troubleshooting and fixing a clog deep within the system, which; unbeknownst to me, had been building up for sometime. Excellent service this afternoon to replace a loose faucet. Repair became very difficult needing to cut out the stem, pull out the sink and recaulk and replace with new faucet. The gentlemen in Truck 23 were thorough, skilled and had total combined 56 years of plumbing experience. For this senior citizen, Norfolk Plumbing was worth every penny.

Norfolk Plumbing really helped us out on Sunday, Fathers Day! We had a broken pipe in a bathroom wall. Alex came and saved the day, he was an Ace.
He was clear about giving an estimate about pricing on a weekend holiday, he gave us some good suggestions to remedy the problem and got the job done quickly so we stayed in the hour price quoted and had minimal damage from the leak.
He was also very conscious of following Covid safety recommendations, distancing and mask, which made us feel much more at ease. Very professional young guy, he did a great job.

Our tenet’s daughter clogged the kitchen sink. The plumber that came out cleared it with a plunger and charged $215. Job was complete. Price was outrageous!

Excellent service. A very professional company with very professional plumbers. Have use their services a number of times. I have been very please with the way they go about their business. In 11/19 it was a main sewage line blockage. The plumber went straight to the problem and this was after hours. Today 9/23/20 they replace two outdoor faucets - excellent job.

Overall good service. Their prices are fair compared to other companies and they always keep their appointments. The technicians are professional and efficient.

“Will” came to my home to fix a problem that worried me. My bathroom sink would not drain. Water would sit for 24 hours or longer. I imagined the worse as he worked and I heard a lot of scraping going on as he worked and the sound of the “snake” whipping through the system. He not only fixed my problem he tweaked a few things to improve water pressure and unlocked the stopper. I. Always appreciate a repairman who goes the extra mile to improve the little irritations you don’t think to improve. He also gave me a 10% discount, which was much appreciated. I always hesitate to call in a plumber because of the high cost to someone like me living on Social Security. But i always feel confident that i will get service above and beyond the expected from Norfolk Plumbing.

This winter, Alex diagnosed a poor install job on my Navien combi-boiler (Michael & Son install!) that caused heat exchanger failure. After attempting an unsuccessful part swap, Alex was able to get me a warranty replacement unit. Alex then meticulously pre-configured the new unit for install with all the controllers, traps, and filters that the prior company *failed* to even consider; even fixed the intake. I really appreciated the detailed walk-through of the issues from Alex, the regular updates, and his patience and attention to detail.

This is just one of several great jobs at my house from Norfolk Plumbing, from basic plumbing to sewer drain replacement. Customer service is always great, from the time schedulers to the technicians. Thanks to the whole Norfolk Plumbing team!

This is our second time having Norfolk Plumbing do some work on our home. Both times they were communicative, fast, well-priced, and all around easy to work with. They are our go to for sure.

I called Saturday (5/29) about a water heater that was leaking. I was placed on the Urgent waiting list and it is Friday (6/4) and we are still waiting for a call. Understand that it was on a long holiday weekend and I may have had to wait a day or two, but six days is unacceptable.

After having several other companies let me down, I happened to find Norfolk Plumbing and
they were amazing. They have reasonable pricing and a great team. The tech that came out to
my home, I believe his name was Mark, was great! You can tell they take pride in their work, I
would highly recommend this company to everyone!

Living in an old house requires having a good plumber. We found that with Norfolk Plumbing and have used them over the years. This last visit really showed us how grateful we were to have them. We had scheduled a visit to have a leaky toilet fixed and discuss some plumbing upgrades with faucets in our bathtub. Josh and Ridge were our plumbers. After they left we had a pipe leak in the wall. Norfolk Plumbing responded immediately, didn’t charge for the emergency visit and took some money off our faucet improvement. They didn’t have to do that but felt since it happened on their watch it was the fair thing to do. Having a great plumber is like having a good doctor. I would recommend them over any other company.

After one company tried to tell me I needed my whole house replumbed, I tried Norfolk Plumbing based on a friend's recommendation. Everybody is friendly and professional, on the phone and in person. They troubleshoot and repair without the upsales or pressure. Now I always call them for installations and repairs.

Everyone at Norfolk Plumbing has been such a joy to work with, Jeff, Ruth, Alex and all the staff are very Profesional and friendly. They came highly recommended and I can see why. The technician Alex Smith was sent to the house to install the plumbing for a shower I’m having installed. Alex did an absolute outstanding job on the installation. He wore his mask the entire time he was onsite and never once took a break. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was tidy and when he was finished he let me know he would be returning to complete the trim out. As a person that’s been in the trades a number of years I only wish I had employees like Alex and the team at Norfolk Plumbing. Do not hesitate to contact them for any and all of your plumbing needs.

I have a leak in my bathroom and mold. Norfolk plumbing came out and recommend a new bathtub for 2k and nothing else not mold solutions or even where the leak was coming from. They did come when they said they would and it was a free estimate. Just not what I needed.

Ridge and Catherine (sp) were awesome,, efficient, courteous, and flat down neighborly. I would recommend them to my neighbors, and would invite them to our next our family cook out. Norfolk Proud!

He called and was right on time. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything to me. He walked me through every step. He was quick and so nice. Called and talked to individuals at least 5 times. They always sounded tired and couldn't even get my appointment scheduled correctly. It took a week to get someone scheduled and no one showed. Maybe good service but the people working the front desk cant get it together.

We moved into a rental home that has had many plumbing problems. Norfolk Plumbing has been amazing. All the Gentleman that have come out (4 visits for different projects) have been amazing. All respectful and fast working. As a military spouse that works from home...it can often be uncomfortable having strange men in your home. The Service Men are absolutely amazing. They are clean and have never left a mess. They explain everything in terms anyone can understand. I always feel very comfortable with them working in my home. They treat me as family and always go the extra mile to help my family. This is always a great relief as my husband is gone a lot because of the military. Now for the office staff!!!! Can't speak any more highly of a team. Each of them are so understanding and are extremely sweet. I have mainly worked with Ms. Ruth. She was actually the first person I met when we moved here...as soon as we moved in...within a few hours I was speaking to Ruth. She has truly been a blessing as these plumbing issues have really made my families life difficult. On more then one occasion she has reassured me as I blubber explaining possible sewage back-up. Ruth and the entire Norfolk Plumbing team have really taken care of my family. On many occasions they have said that they need to take care of our family as military life is already hard. The crew with Norfolk plumbing does a great job. After a quick and very clean install of a new hot water tank, a pipe upstairs sprang a leak (old house, pinhole leak). The guys came back out at 9pm and fixed the leak and didn’t charge us anything additional.

Wonderful experience with Norfolk Plumbing! We had water coming out from underneath the siding outside our kitchen and Ridge was able to come to our house quickly to diagnose the problem (hole in the pipe where it had corroded) and make the necessary repair. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and hard-working, and I wouldn’t call anyone else for our plumbing needs!

Woke up with no water pressure. Turned water off at the street and called Norfolk Plumbing at 8 AM. By 930 they come out and found the problem and isolated the hot water line to give us cold water . Major leak under the house had to use a pump to get the water out , they came back that afternoon and repaired the line . Excellent service . an’t say enough good about this company. You’re never sorry you dealt with the best.

In May I called Norfolk Plumbing to unclog a drain at a rental unit. The drain was cleared, and I paid. I went round the rental today and noticed a very rusted pipe, so I took a closer look and was shocked to find how they left the pipe after cutting a hole in it to clear. I have been using this company for 20 years, so I called them and explained what I found. I asked if I could send an image and they gave me a phone # to send the image to. Since then, crickets. My emails and texts have gone unanswered and when I called, they would not pick up. This is clearly intentional as when they can not get to the phone, they have an answering service.
Time to find another plumbing company!!!

Highly recommend! Our pipes force and burst to our kitchen, beach shower, and garage when it snowed Andy they came out the next day to get us taken care of. We did not have to be there when they came as they could get to everything from outside the house. Ended up costing way less than we thought. They seem to charge hourly plus parts. Ours took 2 hours and was about $300. Note that emergency after hours costs more but they do operate outside of the typical 9 to 5.

They kept me updated on their arrival time and their receptionist staff even made sure to give me time slots that worked with my schedule. We had to contact Norfolk Plumbing for emergency service, in the middle of the night, over the weekend. A gentleman by the name of Alex responded immediately. He was one of the most pleasant personalities, professional and knowledgeable. It was not evident to us what the source of the leak was. He quickly checked several areas and was able to identify the problem within a short time of being at our home. Alex protected the floors and area where we was working, made the necessary repairs and cleaned up behind himself prior to leaving. We cannot say enough about this young man and the service we received from Norfolk Plumbing.

2 of 3 toilets installed required replacement in 2 years. Third party plumber reported Norfolk LLC improperly installed the toilet and stop valve. Norfolk Plumbing stated a fall on the toilet caused the break and general manager will not honor warranty. Rude employee was quick to deny poor service but happy to make more appointments to take our money. I will never have Norfolk Plumbing set foot on my property again.

Charged a lot of labor and didn't even do the stuff right.

I cannot say enough about Norfolk Plumbing! I had them out to provide an estimate for some
drainage under the house that needed to be replaced. Mark, the gentleman who came out was
very polite and knowledgeable and gave me an estimate on the spot. The price was very fair
and they got me scheduled within the week. Since the job was completed I haven't had any
backups and I couldn't be happier! They have the best techs, the best customer service, the list
goes on! Norfolk Plumbing has a customer for life!

Mike and Will did expedient and excellent work. Replaced a house bib and cleared a clogged line in under an hour absolutely will use again. Price was excellent.

Prompt, effective, and expert work by Alex and Will of Norfolk Plumbing, plus free advice on unrelated plumbing questions. Cleared a sewer pipe blocked as a result of tree roots within 3 or 4 hours of calling after prior plumbing company (sent by a home warranty company) didn't bring heavy enough equipment to deal with the issue (and gave us the runaround to boot). Lesson: call these guys first and save yourself money, time, and grief.

We recently bought a 100 year old home with a very complicated heating system, a mix of original cast iron radiators alongside hydronic baseboard heat and all poorly laid out. Johnnie arrived right on time, then patiently went about trying to understand this maze piece by piece. He was amazing, thorough, honest and committed to finding the solution. We cannot recommend him enough.

It was easy to make an appointment to have one of their plumbers (Alex Smith) come to my home and fix three sinks and two toilets. I was expecting him to be here longer than he was. Every job was completed and cleaned up. If it were not for the new fixtures you would not even know he had been in the house.

I am over the moon with this company. I had a clog and called Roto Rooter. They wanted to charge me 700 dollars and said it could take hours to fix. Roto rooter was also late. I got on Facebook and asked my moms where to go. Everyone recommended Norfolk plumbing. They were very polite and on time. I ended up paying 170 for one hour. They got done in about a half an hour which was amazing. I was so scared and I have kids and couldn't afford 700. I would never use another company. I see why they came so highly recommended. The guys were so nice too. I was nervous and they were reassuring me the whole time.

Fantastic service. I had an issue with a smell coming from one of my sinks and when Alex arrived he quickly found the source of the problem and let me know how it could easily be fixed with silicone and offered to do it. He probably could have charged for the visit but he didn't since he's a good dude. If Alex reflects the rest of the company I highly recommend them

William and Dustin arrived early, were able to quickly assess my issue and repair it within a matter of minutes. Wish everybody could be as polite and helpful as these two were. They will be the people I call for all of my plumbing needs!!!

So, about a year ago, Norfolk Plumbing did a fantastic job fixing a pipe problem in my crawl space. After about 2 years and 3 other companies working the problem, they were the only ones to fix it! I have had no problems since.

Today, they came to replace a sink faucet due to leaking and poor pressure. I am absolutely thrilled with their work. The employees are efficient, knowledgeable, and took fantastic care when removing and reinstalling the pedestal sink in order to fix the issue. And.- they cleaned!!!! I’ve had other workers do other jobs who didn’t take the time to clean after their work. I am so grateful to their time and attention - it is great to find a company that takes pride in doing the job correctly and completely, from start to finish. Thank you, Miles and Joshua!!!!

We called for an estimate on a new boiler after being told by another company that ours had a cracked heat exchanger. Johnny, our technician, checked our boiler and informed us that he couldn’t find a crack, and that he recommended keeping our current equipment unless we wanted to upgrade to a more efficient model. In his opinion, our current boiler was good to go, saving us approximately $10k. We appreciated the honesty and will recommend them to our friends.

We had Norfolk plumbing fix some nagging problems and some new ones during two visits over the course of a week. They fixed the shower that hasn’t worked since we bought the house three years ago, a problem that stumped other plumbers, repaired lightning damage to a copper pipe that all of a sudden blew out during a storm, and fixed an automatic air vent on a vanity sink, in addition to a couple other smaller things. Everybody was on time, courteous, professional, had good senses of humor, and did great work. Very happy! 11 stars. 🙂

Had a leak behind toilet so spoke with Danielle who was very kind and professional in listening to my symptoms related to leak and obtaining my info to set an appointment.She sent over Will the plumber and within 30mins leak was fixed, also replaced a worn seal in the tank (that was visibly bad)...in conclusion my toilet is as good as new now!!! Would recommend them to anyone if your looking for professional and speedy service for their home.

Disappointed. It was the second time they came out to clean out the main line in two months. Basically, wasn't able to clean it up completely the first time and they had to come out again. Is $511 a good price to clean out a main line? They charge $137/hour which I now realize is above the average rate for plumbers in Norfolk. There are other good companies out there. Called them at 0805 this morning. I had broken my water heater last night trying to do some amateur home improvement and had to turn water off to me house because of what I'd done. The receptionist said because of the volume of calls they had this morning and over there weekend, it would be late afternoon but they'd try to get there as soon as possible. They called at 0945 and were 5 minutes away. Got there, fixed the water heater, and finished the job I was trying to do all within 45 minutes of arriving. I am very pleased.

Brian was extremely professional. He came out in a timely manner on Memorial Day to clean out our drain and worked with me to understand how we could get water back, even when my property manager was being unresponsive to my queries. I would recommender Brian and Norfolk Plumbing to everyone.

Alex and Brian replaced all the stuck radiator valves in home and installed thermostatic valves on my radiators upstairs. They were very efficient, clean and professional. They left no trace that they had been in my house except my new radiator valves.

Once again, Norfolk Plumbing for the win. We started the day with a clogged shower drain and a busted shower head and then found that sewage was backing up and overflowing in our basement toilet. Johnny had all three problems diagnosed and handled in just under an hour. He was fast, efficient, friendly and professional and another reason we will always call Norfolk Plumbing first.

Mike and Will did an amazing job fixing my tub. I thought I could do a simple repair myself and I was mistaken. I ended up breaking the copper pipe to my tub. 12/2022 Update - Replaced our boiler and have been having intermittent issues with simultaneous heat & AC. Norfolk Plumbing was committed to making it right from the get go. Turns out, the issue was due to an old frayed wire - nothing to do with the installation or service from the Norfolk Plumbing team. No passing the buck, no saying 'not our problem,' Alex and Mark got to work fixing the issue and had a quick resolution. I'm blown away by this team...difficult to find service like this anywhere else.

Sean and Dustin did an excellent job replacing our water heater. They were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend Sean and Dustin, as well as, Norfolk Plumbing. Thank you for a job well done!

Steve and Shamarr did an excellent job rescuing me when my water heater went out unexpectedly! They are always so professional and take the time to explain everything to me! They deserve an enormous raise!!! Thank you for always having my back!!

For me i felt i got a fast response and they were able to do the job quickly. The cost was a bit higher than others and the job area was left a bit dirty since boots were used inside the tub to fix the drain. Other than this he got the job done and I would probably contact them again if I need something done quickly.

Our technician Josh was great! He came out late at night to help us in an emergency situation. He communicated well and set expectations so we knew what to expect for appointment timing. The repair required a return visit because the plumbing part needed was old and obscure. Josh handled it the very next day. Very professional through the whole process.
