I've had JR out on two separate occasions for issues with my toilet and bathtub/shower combo. On both occasions Joel was sent out and I cannot recommend him or his company more highly. Everything was done correctly, issues where they were the third company in as many years to try to fix were finally sorted.

My water heater, which is 20+ years old, finally gave out. I had an inspection from one company, through AHS, to which I challenged their results. Mr. Rodriguez, from JR Plumbing & Mech, inspected my water heater and answered any questions I had. They were prompt and honest throughout this whole ordeal and I could not have asked for better service. Thank you guys.

*Update. So my toilet was not completely fixed after all and the tank is still sounding like it's filling at least twice an hour. Very annoying sound. J R plumbing did come out twice, replaced the parts inside the tank but the noise is still there. I appreciate how quick they returned but not happy still having a noisy toilet

**Update: Okay, so J R Plumbing came out one more time after several phone calls between my home warranty service and Mr. Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was determined to fix my problem and he did just that! He definitely went above and beyond and I am 100% a satisfied customer. He completely redid my toilet and the annoying noise is finally gone. J R Plumbing is top notch, from the young lady who scheduled my appt to of course Mr. Rodriguez! Thank you again!!!

Had a leak from my washing machine into the drain pan . The drain pan wasn’t connected correctly to the drain causing water damage to my first floor drywall. Came out and showed me the problem and how to do an easy fix. Advised me of other options but was honest on what I could do myself and did not push something that could be done but was not necessarily needed. José Professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call again if I have any plumbing needs.

I had a pipe under the house that was leaking sewage into the crawl space after I had the space cleaned out JR schedules the pipe to be replaced the next morning they were here bright and early I was able to communicate with him while his team was working and he made sure everything I ask for got done before they left...what a great derling, they did a excellent job and I am so greatful for his customer service and attention to detail

I have never rushed to my phone so fast to write a review in my life! Joel was our assigned technician through a home warranty service call to fix our water heater that also happens to heat our house. He arrived well within the appointment time frame and got straight to work. Joel walked me through everything he was doing as well as explaining in depth why and how he was doing it. We were under the impression before the service visit that we would most likely be waiting for a new gas control valve to arrive before the water heater could be fixed. However, to my surprise Joel arrived with a shiny brand new control in hand!! This was a control for a similar make and model as ours, so the thermostat piece that inserts into the water tank was slightly different and would not fit. But due to Joel’s quick thinking he was able to transfer the wiring and circuit board from the new control to the housing of the old control that way the thermostat insert would fit like a glove! I cannot stress enough how appreciative we are for Joel and JR’s help in this issue. We have gone 3 days without heat in the winter, and with this amazing company’s help we don’t have to sit huddled in front of a tiny space heater!

I was recommended two other companies from my warranty company American home shield both companies had a horrible reviews and comments saying they were trying to charge additional money. They finally recommended Jr plumbing and mechanical. They were very professional didn't try to upcharge me or upsell anything. I definitely recommend this company and I would use them again and again. American home shield if you read this review this should be the first company y'all send your customers to.

J R Plumbing was assigned to me by my home warranty company for a water leak that developed inside one of my walls. They came out and were initially unable to determine the source of the leak. After following through with their recommendation of pulling the bathroom vanity out the cause of the leak was immediately apparent, which was a hole in the water line right where the line comes out of the slab. I called them back and even though it was a holiday weekend and the call taker had already finished all his jobs for the day, they were willing to come back out and look at it for me. They were able to quickly fix the leak without having to cut the slab at all which greatly cut down on the overall cost of the repairs. I would highly recommend J R Plumbing if you ever need plumbing work in your home!

Our home warranty company sent this company to our house because of a leak coming from our shower. The young man they sent showed up and spent literally 5 minutes looking at the issue and told us what we already knew, that the leak was coming from the shower. He said he could not give us a quote and took our $65 copay. We called the number he left us multiple times with no answer or call back. I believe he showed up just to collect the $65. If he didn't think they could fix the issue why not just tell us while here or over the phone? Not returning a potential client's calls is very unprofessional especially if they have already collected payment from them. Complete waste of our money. This was over a month ago and still no response.

Meanwhile we did a bit of research and decided to go with Cecilia's Home Repairs. AMAZING company! The first time we called them the manager literally showed up in 30 min, did a full inspection of the issue told us what needed to be fixed and gave us a quote in less then 24 hours. EVERY TIME we called/text the supervisor he responded in less then 15 min. They are amazing, please look them up they also have 5 star ratings. I would recommend them to anyone!

Jose & his team come with the efficiency and speed of a large scale company balanced out with the professional courtesy and kindness of a local business. My husband and I were surprised by an exhaustive leak in our quest piping for our unit we had just purchased. Our water had been turned off by the city and we were overwhelmed with figuring out how to fix our home, save our bills, and prevent this from happening again.

I am so grateful to our friend who recommended Jose. He squeezed us into his schedule to the emergency nature of our problems, and kept us informed along the way. Quest piping (as he explained to us) is out of date, and less readily available but we were thankful for his expertise on how to get around this difficult situation. Jose answered all our questions, and took the extra time to explain what was going on with our pipes every step of the way.

I am always happy when I have an expert I can not only count on, but also learn from too! Highly recommend, especially for those dire plumbing needs.

I have had JR plumbing moving drain and supply lines in my kitchen, install a drain into slab for a new shower, and install the supply lines for the new shower. They have been great to work with and they have performed quality work for me and are very efficient/hard workers that did not cut any corners. Since I have prior construction experience I can be very picky on who I use, but after using JR plumbing I don't see me using anyone else to do plumbing work for me. Also, their price for the shower drain install into slab was way better than the other company i got a quote from. 5 stars

Joel was amazing! My toilet was constantly running and he came and replaced the valve, flapper and handle within 30-40 minutes. He was very efficient and professional.

Joel, Jose and Jose Lewis absolutely helped me with my MAJOR plumbing issue under my house. They let me know exactly what they were going to do before doing it and what they did afterwards. It’s dirty work and they earned every penny. Compared to some past plumbers I’ve dealt with, these guys are top notch plumbers.

Had a horrible experience with this company. Had a water heater break and used AHS warranty to replace. This company is horrible at working with AHS warranty and prioritizing replacing my water heater. After 2 days they failed to order the correct tank and I am out of hot water for 4 days. I have fired this company and went with a new company instead that can replace the water tank same day. So disappointed!

JR Plumbing was assigned to me after I put in a work order with my home warranty, and I couldn't be happier. The work was completed within two days of making an appointment. The two technicians, Joel and Jose, were polite, professional, and and clearly competent. I submitted the work order for a leaky valve under my kitchen sink. Joel and Jose not only quickly fixed that leak, but identified three others and quickly fixed those as well. My appointment window was 1200-1600 and they were finished by 1230.

Joel showed up on time and with a Great attitude. He not only took care of what I had called about but discovered a toilet valve leak that was costing me water bill expense I didn't even know about. He fixed it on the spot because he had the part in his well stocked beautiful new work van. Such a nice man and very knowledgeable about his trade. This business appears to be very honest and trustworthy and I will be calling them again for any future plumbing needs. Thank you Joel.

We contacted AHS to request service due to a leak, they assigned JR Plumbing & Mechanical Services, the technician Mr. Rodriquez was very polite and practiced COVID-19 guidelines, he immediately discerned the source of the leak, after location the problem and explained what he would need to do to make repairs. He made the necessary repairs and cleared debris that resulted from the repair. The repair was done in a timely manner. I was thoroughly pleased with the job done by Mr. Rodgriquez/JR Plumbing & Mechanical Services. Great job!

The plumber came to my house at 10am on Friday February 11, 2022. Jose was very professional and quick but my repair wasn't done because he needed permission from American Home Shield to cut a board (2×4). I went in my attic and cut the board for access to the eating valve. I called and left a message because my kids and I have been without hot water and heat. I called JR Plumbing &Mechanical Services and the receptionist said they haven't checked their answering machine which is unacceptable! She got an attitude and hung the phone up in my ear! I recommend that everyone should use a company who will show the customer respect and consideration especially when they know it's the middle of winter and the customer hasn't had heat or hot water for almost 2 weeks!!

My home warranty contracted JR Plumbing for a second look because the first company wasn't helpful in fixing the issue. Joel was sent and had our leak identified and fixed in less than 10 minutes. I used AHS and chose this company because of it's reviews. I had a pin hole leek in my pipe to my shower, it was accessed through my bedroom closet. To my surprise it had been leaking for some time!! When I discovered it was leaking, I was not able to make it stop. Therefore I called and asked to speak with the technician that would be coming out. I received a call almost right away from Jose. They scheduled me for the next morning. Jose came out fixed the pipe. He was very efficient, professional and was done in a flash. I was very grateful it had not destroyed my floor. Jose told me to spry with bleach, put a fan on it to dry in order to make sure it would now grow mold. I was very thankful. I would defiantly recommend this company to anybody that needs plumbing, ask for Jose :) 9/3/2022

I made a claim through AHS for a slow draining tub and a small leak, and weak water pressure in another shower. JR Plumbing reached out to me quickly and got me scheduled for today. My warranty Company sent the company out to my house because of a stoppage. The stoppage is due to a clogged cast iron pipe under the house. There is access to the cast iron pipe under the house. The plumber stated that a clean out needs to be installed in order to attempt to snake the line. There is an access that is available to snake the line under the house (where you would figure you have to go a lot of times to fix a plumbing issue. The plumber was nice but I feel that being able to snake from under a crawl space is something that should be expected in this line of work.

I was very impressed with the knowledge, friendliness and responsiveness of the office staff and the technician. Thank you all so much for finding and repairing the leak.

This from start to finish was excellent! They came over and replaced my burst water heater in my attic. My home was built in 2003 and they did not have to make any modifications nor did they charge me any unnecessary charges that I see other companies scamming people in desperate need and only accepting cash payments. I would highly recommend JR Pluming to anyone! Thank you very much for the great experience!

We recently had our sewer line back up. I was very pleased that the plumbers were honest and did not try to sell me unnecessary services. They recommended we contact the City to clean out the City's side of the sewer line, which solved our problem. The plumbers could have instead charged me a fortune to create a new opening in my lines and drain it from our side. The City told me multiple stories of other, less honest plumbers doing that.

We found this company through our 2-10 warranty, normally they send someone out with horrible ratings and little knowledge. Not this time!! We are so impressed from start to finish of each separate job that we agreed if our warranty company stops using them we will continue to do so. Very thorough, knowledgeable and great attitudes. Great experience. Home warranty sent out JR after the first plumber failed to fix a leak causing water to pour through the ceiling from an upstairs bathroom. I received text/call updates on arrival time and Anibal showed up exactly when expected. He quickly assessed the situation, explained the problem, repaired it, and happily stayed while we tested multiple times to verify there were no more leaks. Nice guy, great service. If Home warranty would've sent JR out to begin with, we could've avoided a lot of stress and damage.

Anibal was a lifesaver! He came out on a 2nd opinion and worked very hard to get the job done. We had a clog that was deep in the drain line from the second floor that prevented all water use above it. So much water had backed up that several seals had failed in the floor. It was too far in to reach with a regular snake. Anibal took things apart so that it could be cleared from another spot and got everything put back together on time. Dispatcher was polite, pricing was fair, and all staff was PROFESSIONAL. Above and beyond the competition and would highly recommend.
