After experiencing the failure of our home's water heater, we contacted our HVAC service provider, House Call Company, in Portsmouth on Monday, July 18.
Despite the ongoing heat wave's weather demands on House Call Company's service staff, Bryant Cueto was dispatched to our house right away.
He recommended that the best plan of action, given the water heater's age, would be to replace it rather than replacing just the failed starter device.
We agreed to the estimate but it took several days to secure the replacement heater. On Thursday, July 21 the job was completed and we were delighted to have hot water again!
Throughout the process, Bryant remained quite professional and kept us informed about every step of the process. We're sure that House Call Company's proud to have Bryant Cueto on their service tech staff.

This company is my go-to for any home repairs. They do excellent work and are SO reliable. Love the food, services, atmosphere and prices. You should have seen the size of the plate of chicken tenders. And the burgers! Out of this world good. Went late on rainy wet, Winter Saturday night. Area was safe, very popular and policed parking lot. Very nice, family environment.

Got here as promised and took care of our problem at a reasonable price.

This company is local and I couldn't ask for any better service. When I called they actually answered the phone and scheduled me right away. The owner and another guy came to do the job and I had a ton of stuff to ask about the plumbing in my 1962 home. They fixed the washing machine backup into my kitchen sink without any problems. I asked if they could give me an estimate on replacing my main line and rerouting my pipes since I live on a slab and they measured everything and gave me an estimate right then. I was shocked, I kept saying they didn't have to do it right now but they assured me it wouldn't take long at all. I was very impressed with their willingness to help me find a solution, the price of the estimate and the price for this service call. I won't ever have to search for another plumber because they are the best in my opinion.

My family has been using A B Parker & Son for the past 40 or so years. They installed the heating system and the plumbing in my parents' house, and have been there for them over the years. When I moved out and into my own home, I continued to use their services. A B Parker & Son is a small, locally owned business. Unlike the chain businesses, you get to know them personally and you form a bond with them. But they are still very professional, extremely competent, and resonably priced. This past New Year's Day, I was out of town and a friend called me to tell me that my 90 year old father had no heat. I called Mr. Parker and asked if he could call my father to find out what was going on. My father had heat by the end of the day. A B Parker & Son is the absolute best!!

I've been a homeowner for years and I cannot say enough good things about this company. I called them about a slab water leak and they were very responsive. What should have been a job that took a couple of hours escalated (through no fault of their own) into what turned out to be two days of digging and repair work. They encountered significant plumbing design flaws and what turned out to be four leaks and not just one; yet they worked professionally and with a positive attitude throughout the entire process. Rob Bertolino was very hands-on onsite every step of the way; my calls & texts were always answered immediately. Rather than take the easy way out, they confined the floor excavation to one bathroom and avoided digging up any of our kitchen tile. In the end, they fixed a very difficulty problem and at a very fair price. I will not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs.

Horrible Co. Rude serviceman. He kept interrupting me while I was explaining our HVAC issues and got angry when I nicely asked him to please let me finish and to not interrupt me. Our builder used this Co. To install our HVAC and plumbing in our new home. HVAC hasn't worked properly from Day one. Furnaces are covered in condensation, drain pan drain hole covered with styrofoam blocks furn. Sits on., Mold growing due to so much condensation. Something rattling around when furnace is running. AC leaking into attic at furnace seams. Compressor already had to be replaced and now makes noise and keeps shutting off.
