Best Broken Sump Pump in Charlotte NC

Septic tank clogged and backed up into our house. On Easter Sunday. I called the number listed for emergencies but that only applies to normal plumbing issues, not opening a septic tank. The person on the line suggested I call back on Monday morning at 7:30am to be scheduled.

I called at 7:30, dealt with a very professional lady who took my info and told me she had an afternoon opening and the the service technician would call me back when he was about to come over. She estimated it would be after 2pm. In fact, the technician called around 1, said he’d be at my house in about 10 minutes.

Jake M, the technician, was absolutely the best ever. Very polite, very professional and very good at his job. He found my tank, dug down to the hatch, fixed the clog, pumped the tank, inspected and tested the tank and was finished in around an hour. He offered suggestions to prevent a recurrence, took my payment and was on his way. No muss, no fuss, and he cleaned up before he left. I was totally amazed, having dealt with a different company concerning a previous septic problem in Western NC. That was a nightmare. Jake and AAA City Plumbing were other extreme; competent, friendly and professional. Reasonably priced and easily scheduled.

If I have reason to call a full service plumbing company, it will be AAA City Plumbing, and if it involves septic issues or maintenance, I’ll ask for Jake.

On 02/24/12 we had a problem in our less than 5 year old Mayfair townhome. Our toilets would not flush. We called Roto-Rooter. Dimitri was sent out and through the use of his Roto-Rooter machine through a foyer toilet, was able to unclog the drain. The drain was clogged with tree roots. I went out the next day and got some foaming root inhibitor. Directions say repeat in 6 months. The cost of this trip was $446.00.On 08/10/12 we had a repeat of the February problem. Dimitri again came out promptly and using his Roto-Rooter machine through the outside cleanout (much more convenient way to do the job) was able to clean the clog. Again tree roots. I requested that they schedule a trip to dig up the line and repair whatever was allowing the roots to get in the pipe. The cost for this trip was $285.00.On 08/13/12 Dimitri returned with a camera and after some digging in the front yard found a glue joint that was not properly glued that was allowing roots to enter the line. After cutting out the inferior joint Dimitri dug up more of the line on either side of the joint and found that the top of the pipe had a large broken piece (about 12 long) in the top. More roots had entered at this break. This was repaired and the dirt replaced as best he could. The cost for this trip was $882.30. Total cost $1,613.30!Service was great, Dimitri is a nice guy and did a good job. VERY EXPENSIVE!
