I reached out to this company for handyman services because the reviews are stellar and they came recommended by an associate. The project i wanted fixed was to remove and replace about 6-12 inches of dry wall and base mold at my backdoor that was affected by water intrusion. With only the use of a 30 second home video Josue quoted me a whopping $2000 with the potential to be more. HAHAHA what a joke! I received another quote from another company that also had phenomenal reviews and was quoted $600 AFTER the handyman actually came to my home to inspect the issue. Seems to me like Josue tried to pull a fast one on a single woman new homeowner.

We have been using Thomas of With The Flow for over five years. Projects have ranged from small jobs (install a toilet, fix a leak) to larger ones where he installed cabinets and granite counter, a shower, and plumbing for a bathroom remodel, and he has installed whole house water filters in four homes for us and relatives. In all projects, Thomas communicates well before, during, and after the job. Thomas' work is of excellent quality, finished in the timeline he committed, and is of great value. His knowledge of not only water heating systems, options, system manufactures, and local water quality, was amazing. We elected to go with a Rinni tankless water heater with an Aqua-pure whole house pre-filter. David's crew arrived on time and were friendly and professional. WOW! Amazed! A few years ago I was up to my eyeballs managing cancer treatments when all of a sudden Murphy’s law decided I had something else which needed to preoccupy my time. Not sure the reason for the diversion but my downstairs neighbor reluctantly informed she had a leak coming through her ceiling of the bathroom which was not long before remodeled. I immediately called the plumbers we regularly used here in our old circa.1930’s building. They came but were puzzled after looking at what it would take to repair a breach in the junction of lead pipe draining from my tub. It was located in a precarious and hard to reach location. They called in their big gun project main overlord guy. Steve came out and started speaking of tearing up my entire tile floor breaking up the concrete under pad and starting afresh.

Well you can image my reaction. I have one bathroom and remember I am going through chemo and radiation treatments. I knew I could bite the bullet and push through but since the issue and solution was beyond a simple repair I decided to call my homeowners insurance. They sent someone who reviewed the issue. After hearing what Steve had planned the adjusted said “Listen, I am going to give you a name of someone who I’ve seen resolve stuff like this. He is from the New Orleans and southern Louisiana area. They have a lot of buildings down there that settle and he seems to know what to do”. Joy exploded with “OMG, I moved to Charlotte from down there back in ‘84. I have a good feeling about this guy already and feel he will definitely know what to do”.

Chad Moore came and it didn’t take very much time for a solution to emerge. He addressed it and set a solution in place for one of his guys to execute. It was just as my gut had spoken. He knew the to approach to take and it was the best solution and yielded final results which were a fraction of the other companies assessment. That other company is an old well established Charlotte institution which native Charlotteans have used for years. I recently heard they were acquired by a big remodeler in town. Needless to say they ceased to be our go to people. I live in an very old established neighborhood in town and believe me, I give out Chads M&D Plumbing name and number when ever I hear a neighbor in need. Unfortunately I’ve heard recently they are calling him directly and since that time have changed the number I now give out. Now it’s to the main office.

No other company is needed for your plumbing needs. This one is the right one. They guarantee their work. If you want the best this is a little lagniappe of advice I give you.

I have a rental condo in Oak Island and my guests reported a leaking hot water tank at 12:00 noon on a Friday. I called Drew and he promptly came to the condo and sent me photos of a badly rusted out tank which needed replaced asap. He went back out and got the parts, quickly returned and had everything buttoned up by 4:00PM on the same day! Amazing service, saved my guests a weekend without water. Highly recommend!! ??

The cheapest and most professional plumbers with most definitely use them again polite and on time their is no one better.

J&E was sent through Home Warranty. He was rude and very short. He replaced coupler. Smelled gas was told it was because pilot was lit. It will pass. Long story short. It never passed. Piedmont gas was called and informed me that when coupler is replaced. The value clamp should have been checked to make sure there was a seal. I contacted J&E and he disagreed and refused to return and correct the issue. This could have ended horribly. Don’t waste your time and money with this company!!
