We had an unequivocally positive experience.Our air conditioner died just in time for a heat wave. Willby genuinely cared about our situation and did some above and beyond things to get our situation taken care of as quickly as he could.He was courteous and professional and - bonus points - even a fascinating conversationalist.

There are many facets to Sunshine Plumbing & Heating, which are not all on the same team. The salesperson will promise you the world, telling you about how they will fix/install your heater with quick efficiency. The receptionist will tell you they are booked, and call somebody else. The actual Boiler Tech will start the work, then disappear half-way through. This is a broken system. The ONE guy who was their boiler guy, came out to remove my 22-year-old boiler, and install a Tankless boiler seemed like he knew what he was doing at the beginning. After only two days of work, he disappeared from Sunshine’s ranks, supposedly not returning phone calls, emails, text messages. What happened? Who knows? Sunshine apparently doesn’t even know. Later, I found out this Boiler guy has done this disappearing-act before. So, Sunshine sent out a plumber to continue the Boiler work. The plumber stated to me “he doesn’t know how the water gets into the Boiler, and he is a plumber”. Great, just great. The Boiler guy performs a reappearing-act, about a week after he left, and decides to continue the work at my house. Unfortunately for me, we spent the winter with no heat because the wiring for the radiant floor valves was not properly setup/connected to the boiler. There was more work that was needed to actually get the floor valves to turn on. Apparently, the Boiler Tech did not know this, or care to complete the work. In fact, the boiler did not even have a purge valve, so water could not be drained from the system. The radiant floor lines were never purged of air or old water. I called Sunshine Plumbing about this problem, and was told they currently have not Boiler techs, and was told to call somebody else. Unreal. So, the floors throughout my house were cold over the winter because Sunshine Plumbing and Heating does not know how to properly install a Tankless Boiler. I had to call another company to come fix the disaster that Sunshine Plumbing had left behind. My recommendation, if you have Boiler work, DO NOT use Sunshine Plumbing and Heating. They are terrible at returning phone calls, performing Boiler work, and just being honest about what needs to be done and is being done.

Very disappointed. I chose Signature because of the reviews and thinking I was entering into a relationship with an excellent mature company with a proven track record. I was okay with paying a premium until the installation happened. It was a combo unit replacement on a roof. A small army showed up unannounced, with no communication of what was happening; the installer claimed the installation was complete and left me with a dead unit over the weekend. When they returned on Monday, they reported the blower cage was dislodged, like the unit had been dropped. Debris in the yard and the crane cracked my driveway concrete which I have reported twice. I've given up on hearing back from Signature.

Came to give me a estimate to switch to refrigerated air after 30 minutes looking it over they called with a esimate..o wait, they told me they could not fit the unit in the current heater closet. The other three contractors didn't even flinch when seeing it. Move on to someone else.

Tech Daniel came out to fix a drainage and pump issue with our AC system which was leaking water everywhere. He fixed the issue promptly and professionally with dogs and little kids running around nearby. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

Contacted them to replace a gas water-heater. Paid $100 to get an estimate, was told it would be a same day estimate. Had to call the guy back myself and get the details of the estimate. Had them run some numbers on various types, tank gas, tankless gas and tankless electric. Didn’t get a callback with an estimate till two days later, after calling the guy Ben multiple times with no response, leaves his voicemail box full. Finally when we got our estimate, got our loan to get the job done come to find out they left out a critical inspection which tacked in money to the already expensive install. The supervisor never returned my call that day after the inspection and it was not until 4pm I had finally decided to call a competitor, got a quote in minutes the same day and they installed the day after.

I gave them too many chances and I was working harder for them to earn my business, and they left us waiting for a week with no hot water and giving me the terms and conditions talk when I asked for a refund of my inspection fee.
