Mark was great to work with. Best price in town for all the same work. My water heater went out, tank blew up, he was able to provide me upfront pricing and came out the next day and installed! All others told me they would have to inspect then schedule a week out. A week without hot water in the winter was not going to happen. Thanks Mark and Bradon for installing and bringing it up to code. Excellent service!

Had two encounters with Affordable. First was last year (2016), leaky water heater that I knew needed replacing. Their technicians came out end of the day. The pilot light had gone out to the leak. He dried the area, relit the pilot and said what I already know, you need a new water heater. He did not charge for the visit, I appreciated it and kept them in mind if for when I could afford a new water heater.So I called them yesterday (they’re local to Rio Rancho and I try to keep my money in the area if possible) when I was experiencing a furnace problem. The furnace was running but putting out room temperature air. Contacted them via website early to get the ball rolling before they were open. Finally got a call about 3 hours later to talk about my problem. Met their tech at the house at 12:15, his name was Adam I believe. I know everyone should be allowed to have a bad day at work. This guy really did not seem like he wanted to be there or I reminded him of someone he didn't like. His first question was “have you thought of replacing it. Note this while he was doing diagnostics.I thought long and hard about whether I should do this review. After reading the others from the past few weeks I think it’s worthwhile that I do it. By the time he was done he pulled the motor and housing which needed cleaning. Replaced the Flame Sensor and Furnace Draft Inducer Blower (which I had bought previously and had sitting on the shelf). He reminded me since he was installing it there would be no warranty. Maybe an hour and a half work at most the flame sensor is anywhere from $ 10-25 on the internet. My total with tax? $ 545 and change. Excessive, I was in a bind and needed it done. Never again. You’ve lost a customer but I’m sure there are more out there. There are two other local HVAC companies here in Rio Rancho, they’re get the next call.Update : 2/27/2017, received a call from Kevin at Affordable over my review. He wanted to see how he could respond to what occurred. He also said I should have called them if I was unhappy.. Why would I call, I contract you to perform a job and then I post the circumstances and what occurred. I was issued a partial refund of $ 100 for installation of my own part. Its appreciated but its doubtful I will be using Affordable again, better to just move on.

We had great service from Wagner Mechanical technician Cody and his assistant today.They removed our old AC, swamp cooler, and sealed the vent on the roof. The work was done efficiently and effectively in a little less than one hour. He took pictures of the old AC before removal and the vent he sealed after the removal so we didn't have to get up on the roof to see the work done.Cody had previously installed our new HVAC system and we were glad to see him back to complete the project.

I have used this company twice, once for my AC (refridgeraged air) and once for my hot water heater. They are amazing. Great customer service, and they got someone out to both jobs quickly. Would definitely recommend

My contractor used them several years ago to install an AC unit for an addition onto my home. I called them for 2nd opinion when 2 other big name companies in town here both told me I needed to replace main A/C unit on roof, which was past warranty, to fix a particular problem #1 Plumbing installed wireless connector to fix problem and saved me thousands (also gave me a quote for new unit in event I wanted to replace unit though not necessary per #1, and their quote for same type of unit was way lower than other 2 businesses ) have been using them since 2020 to do seasonal checks of equip. Very honest, professional and on time
