Best Boilers And Water Heaters in Boston MA
We recently had a clogged drain and cracked drain pipe. We called Power Plumbing, and Dave got back to us within a half hour. He and another plumber came out that afternoon (exactly at the time they said), and fixed the problem. We're very happy with their responsiveness and the quality of the work. We would definitely use Power Plumbing again, and would recommend them highly.

Narrow Way has been helping us for almost 17 years and they are great to work with. Professional and courteous, Matt and his team have answered our prayers on more than one occasion. They have fixed leaks in sinks and ice makers, replaced parts in toilets, installed custom basins and faucets with difficult metric fittings, swapped out water heaters and installed our current tank-less unit. They are trustworthy, accountable and their work is warranted and reasonably priced. These guys take care of our problems on time and on budget. I highly recommend them.

I have worked with Vaughan plumbing a few times, running new pipes for a gas grill, drain line cleaning for backed up pipes, and for a couple different plumbing leaks in my 90 year old house. Greg is very responsive, and his guys are always respectful. George in particular did a great job replumbing the original galvanized steel stack in our house after it gave out and flooded our basement. I trust Vaughan plumbing with everything plumbing in my house.

Jim came over and looked at an old cast iron pipe that was rusting. He did exactly what he said he would do cut out the old pipe and replace with new. He communicated well and very reasonable with the price. We are pleased with his work. Thanks Jim!

Cue the scene, my garbage disposal is broken and keeping the dishes area clean is starting to become a nightmare. I didn't know what to do and, like all of you, looked up some good reviews to find the right person for the job. I'm pleased to say that Wayne was on time, highly professional, and an all-around great guy. I know who I'm calling for my next plumbing issue :D

UPDATE: I had someone out to do a leak test for less than what it cost me for Boston Standard to do a 30 minute diagnostics. Doubling down on DO NOT USE BOSTON STANDARD for small projects unless you want to be robbed.Boston Standard came out to look at my mini-split system because there is a leak or clog in the refrigerant so the units haven't been cooling. Mind you, this system is less than a year old. When they arrived I told them I had done some trouble shooting with Mitsubishi support already and came to the conclusion that it was a leak or a clog (which is pretty typical for mini-split issues like this). Boston Standard sent two technicians out to run diagnostics which resulted in them telling me there MIGHT be a leak or clog. They charged a ridiculous $550 to tell me what I already knew and had already told them. They then quoted me $7,500 just to preform a leakage test. That quote didn't include any actual repair work, that was just to locate the leak. I don't even want to know what they would charge me to do any actual work. In short, don't use Boston Standard for small projects unless you want to pay an obscene amount. Maybe that is the going rate right now, but speaking to a technician for 20 minutes to be charged $550 for something I already knew, and then quoted another $7,500 just to locate the problem BEFORE any corrective work is even done just feels like robbery.

We found Rich when we were looking to replace our ancient oil heating with a natural gas system.
He was responsive when providing quotes, competitively priced and was happy to answer any questions we had related to the process. He is fully certified as a master plumber and his workmanship showed on the job. He helped us with processing the HEAT loan from MassSave and provided quick service even considering the impacts of COVID-19. He was professional on-site and was always sure to maintain distancing and wore a mask.
He was friendly and gave us updates on the work he was doing and why he was doing it. Our house is fairly old and had amateur work done by the previous owner and he took it upon himself to clean up several fittings and went above and beyond what was asked of him at no charge.
Overall, an excellent experience and we'd happily use his services again. Highly recommended.

They charged me $500 for an estimate that was double what it cost for someone else to do the job...stay away from them!
