Best A/C in Boston MA

i've used this company several times over the years for clogs - the main line to the house, the washer, the tenant's (who dumped grease & bolts down the drain) sink. they have always been reasonably priced and did a great job on the clogs. i was in the process of recommending them to a friend so i decided to write a review.

The plumbers are extremely efficient with their work. Becky is admin and extremely pleasant to work with, she was punctual and very informative. I highly recommend

Great service my water heater had decided to die on me and flood my basement and of course it was on a holiday weekend i tried to get 3 other Co.'s to come out and help me with my poorly timed dilemma yiannis was the only one who was willing to come right over to help he had it replaced in no time and i even had him back after the holidays to service my hvac system.

I called frank on the coldest night of the year. With in two hours had a man to my front door. Fixed the problem was really cheap too. highly recommend.

Called Chin Plumbing for a bath renovation in Lynnfield. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work and they were flexible with scheduling.

Wayyyyyy overpriced. I had a service call that resulted in replacing a hot water heater. My other contractor onsite said they were in and out in under an hour, which is great, right? I was charged $2065.00. His defense was that he told me the cost before hand. First of all he gave me an estimate. Secondly, I've never had a hot water heater replaced before. It sounded difficult and like it might take all day at that price estimate he gave me. Boy was I a fool. Had I known he was a price gouger I would have negotiated at the start. When I discovered they were taking advantage I fought back. In the end he tossed me $100 off. He continued to defend his pricing saying that the heater cost $1,100 (I called a supplier, that's the retail price, which they get at wholesale so he makes money off of that), and his defense was that he had 2 guys there. Let's do some math. $2065-$1100 = $965. They were there for under an hour. I'll throw in an additional hour for travel time and delivering the heater. That comes to $965 / 2 hours = $482.50/ hour for 2 guys. But you know he's not paying his helper much. $40/hour at most? So the guy just pocketed $442.50/hr. Annualized that comes to a $920,000 salary. I got smoked.

Matt and Henry did a fantastic job replacing our malfunctioning hot water heater. Timely, knowledgeable, and educational - very patient with me poking around and asking questions the whole time. Excellent work and definitely recommended!

I called White’s recently to replace a leaking 3 foot section of cast iron sewer line.

After calling 6 other local plumbers, White’s was the only one able to stop by the day the leak started, temporarily repair it, and come back the next day to complete the job. They were decent, courteous, neat, and fast.

However, they charged $2400 in labor for a repair that took 4 hours and about $50 in parts. I expected to pay more for an emergency repair, but not to be taken.

If you are willing to pay a premium, White’s will do an excellent job. However, if you can, I’d recommend shopping around.

I can’t say too much about them…they were awesome and I’ll use them again and again… You don’t get this type of service from anyone else!!!

McMahon took care of a number of issues at my old house over the past 19 years and were always first rate. Sold the old house last month, bought a fairly new home, and right out the gate ... trouble with the heat and eventually stopped working. Called my friends at McMahon today/Friday (single digit temps outside) and they didn't know if they could send someone out before Monday due to over-abundance of calls. Sure enough, they called me back in a couple of hours - technician was on his way. No 'emergency/same day service fee'. Two issues repaired within an hour.

I can not say enough for this company, their office staff, their technicians, and their overall business model. Not my first review. But they're always the same: super satisfied customer!

This company did a service to replace a water heater for me. The pipes have gone extremely rusty in no time. They are completely unprofessional. I have reached out multiple times in the past few weeks about them needing to come back and take a relook but no response. I am covered under their service agreement but I have gotten no response from then after an extremely POOR JOB they did.
