My heat had stopped working the weekend of Boston's first snow of the season, and it turns out that my unit needed a new motherboard. I've been hit hard lately with a lot of unexpected car and home repairs, and they were very kind and understanding. They still came out to fix my heat because they didn't want me to be without heat - my heart is so full of gratitude. They are very professional, courteous, and do an excellent job. Tony managed the maintenance of sump pumps in our North End condo (basement and first floor level unit) for the six years we lived there, and also installed tankless hot water heaters there. He just finished installing a radiator at our new condo in Charlestown (switched out some baseboard heating). He is very professional, does beautiful work, and is very easy to work with. I appreciate that he is a creative problem solver and extremely patient explaining all of your options. I would highly recommend him!!

Had a broken shower valve, and I unscrewed the faceplate and saw I was out of my depth. I called in the morning, and he was there at 1:30 the same afternoon and done before 2. Lifesaver!

Donners has been my go to plumber for years. They show up on time every time, always have the right parts, and always get the job done. I have had several heating issues dealt with by them and several water heaters replaced.

I just called last night (Sunday) at 5pm when I noticed that my water heater was leaking. They had it replaced by 11am Monday morning! They always answer the phone and consistently provide excellent service. They are very honest about prices and issues that arise and always clean up after themselves.

The one possible con is the price which is definitely high. But when that sewer is backing up or the heat is off in the middle of January they show up on time and get the job done with no issues. Excellent service and excellent quality.
