Top notch service

Green Tech Plumbing was great. We had a leak on a holiday and Green Tech had us show them pictures of the problem so they could show up with the appropriate tools and replacement fixtures early the next morning. The plumber was pleasant, talked us through what was happening, and offered up quick solutions. The entire appointment was just over an hour. We plan to use Green Tech again.

Our furnace stopped working! David and his team figured out what was wrong, went out for parts, and fixed it in the same day, phew! They were professional and courteous and taught us how to prevent a similar problem in the future.

We've had to have these guys out a few times in the last month, first for a leaky pipe, then for a burst pipe, then to assess a faucet that wasn't running right since the burst pipe. Dave came out each time, he was very easy to work with, and seemed to be working to get us the best price possible. He came to us right away when the pipe burst even though he had a bunch of people ahead of us, since he remembered that we had a newborn. Very nice to have that personal touch! And he didn't charge us for checking out the faucet. All good experiences so far even though it's always frustrating when you need to call a plumber.

Second time using Green Tech. This time had them out to fix two mini-split units that weren't cooling properly. The work was done quickly and professionally. There was some miscommunication around the invoicing, but Dave took care of the issue in a fair manner.

The faucet installation was needed to replace an old one that broke and was leaking. It wasn't a big job but it was very important to get done to make the kitchen functional again. Very responsive and professional team. They did their best to come as soon as possible when our A/C broke in the middle of a heat wave. They kept us updated on the parts they had to order, and scheduling a new date to service the equipment. When we had some issues again they came over within 24 hours and fixed it. We had an issue with the water heater right after storm day and it was very hard to find a professional to repair it asap. We I reached out to Green Tech, they were super busy a but very responsive . As I mentioned that I have a kid at home, though they were tied up with other appointments, they made sure they showed up on the same day as fix the water heater. Highly recommend Green Tech! Our heat stopped working in the middle of the night, so I began calling around first thing in the morning and was happy Green Tech could fit me in right away. After calling around to try to find someone to help with a leaking central air system, I was able to get same-day service from Green Tech. They even sent someone out sooner than they initially said they could in order to work around a scheduling conflict I had. Green Tech is great. When doing some drywall repair, we discovered that the builder for my building had lodged a screw into a 3 PVC pipe in the wall. This bad boy carries sewage from the units above me downstairs to the sewer. Not ideal, but luckily it was fully sealed. I still wanted the screw removed, obviously.

I asked for a quote and within a few minutes someone messaged me back on Yelp, called me, and quoted a rough estimate (to be validated on site); within an hour I already had someone on-site to assess the job. Once they arrived they patched the pipe within minutes.

I'm not an expert at pricing for plumbing jobs but it seemed fair given some estimates I got from their competitors. They also provided me with a certificate of insurance and a detailed invoice in a timely manner. Book Green Tech without hesitation!

Our AC died on a Saturday afternoon when it was 90 degrees out and I was pretty sure we’d be stuck for days. Dave and the crew at Greentech responded and had us fixed same day - outstanding!

David & team are very good. I tried installing a toilet and was successful to some extent but needed a PRO to finish the job properly. So I reached out to Green tech over Yelp (as they are 5 star) and they were very responsive. He set up an appointment right away and showed up on time.
He was able to reinstall toilet in just 30 mins! I had to negotiate on the price a bit as the rates were expensive. But Experts in plumbing, they know what they do.

I recently had a problem with my heat hot water baseboard that it didn't provide heat for some areas for my property. I googled and found Green Tech Plumbing & heating that has 5 stars from Google's reviews. Green Tech Plumbing & heating provided a very disappointing experience with the diagnosis service for my hot water system issue. The technician did not communicate well with me throughout the process. After he finished his diagnosis for 1 hour and 15 minutes. He called me what he had found. He said that it was because one of my thermostats did not function due to a wiring issue and he couldn't do anything about it because it is an electrical job which he couldn't do it.

After the technician left, I received a bill via Venmo for $375 that was much higher than I had anticipated. Is this real for the diagnosis service charge without fixing anything? When I called him to inquire about the charge, he said that he normally charges two hours minimum for this kind of service. I admitted that I didn't ask him about his charge rate before I asked him to come to my property. In the end, he reduced it to $300 which I still was not happy for this kind of service.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the diagnosis service provided by Green Tech Plumbing & heating. Additionally, their lack of communication and high fees left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this company to anyone in need of heat hot water system diagnosis service. This is the first time I got this service charge and saying that we couldn't fix it. The lesson learn is that we should not rely on Google review much.

They did a totally fine job installing my dishwasher. Be aware that they have so many 5 star reviews not because they are a particularly wonderful plumbing company, but because they offer you a discount if you give them a good review.

We wanted for someone to install our new cooktop to replace our defective one. Dave was very helpful and arranged to come and install it and take our old one very soon after our request, I believe the next day.
Dave installed the new one well and was always courteous. Unfortunately, the cooktop was not the right size because it covered our telescopic downdraft. He arranged to come again once we realized this and very helpfully video chatted us in since we could not be there in person. He helped to try to figure it out, removing the wifi dongle that we thought was the issue, only to realize even without that it's slightly too big getting in the way of the telescopic downdraft.
He complied with all of our requests including to finally disconnect the gas line until we can buy a new cooktop and re-install that one and hook up the gas then or to cut the granite to make this one fit if possible..
He has gone the extra mile by trying to connect us to a granite cutter to try to fit the gas cooktop and he even gave us an exceptional discount for this second visit due the issue not having been resolved the first time.
Throughout he has been very courteous, respectful and nice, and I would recommend you hiring his services!

I cannot recommend this company more highly, with heartfelt and warm thanks. My heat had stopped working the weekend of Boston's first snow of the season, and it turns out that my unit needed a new motherboard. I've been hit hard lately with a lot of unexpected car and home repairs, and they were very kind and understanding. They still came out to fix my heat because they didn't want me to be without heat - my heart is so full of gratitude. They are very professional, courteous, and do an excellent job. My downstairs neighbor was having a leakage on ceiling, I had used another company to unclog toilet and it seems like something went wrong. I called Dave a few times and he was very responsive. If he couldn’t get the call, he would call back. Dave and one more technician came in to assess problem, they wore masks and were very professional. Dave explained what the problem was in detail and worked on the problem for a few hours the next day. Highly recommend, leakage was resolved and will keep in mind for future issues.

Our water heater wasn’t working correctly and was leaking. Green Tech was here a day after I called them. I figured I needed a new water heater and they confirmed. They cleaned up all the water in the basement and were back 20 mins later with a new water heater. They installed it super quickly and removed the old one for me (for a fee). They cleaned up everything, got the job done fast, and were super friendly. Would recommend them for sure.

I contacted Dave last Friday about my hot water heater which was failing after 10.5 years of use, and asked if he could swing by on Monday to take a look at it. He came by Monday morning as promised, and upon looking at it, said he could replace it right that day. He immediately went out and bought a unit, and a couple of hours later, voila! My new hot water heater was installed. Not only was it speedily replaced and a competitive price, but Dave is a super kind and knowledgeable professional. I definitely plan on working with him for all my future plumbing and heating needs; and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to all my friends.

Repair Hvac - What a great professional repairman who is very detail about the work, he keeps the time appointment, the most accurate with the work estimate, and completes the job early. One thing that amazes me about his work - he explains to you what he's doing, and what caused the problem - and how to prevent it in the future.

We needed to have our old gas drier replaced and David was very responsive in scheduling and professional in the visit and made the whole thing very easy. I discovered that my 10 year old hot water heater had begun leaking and needed to be replaced on a Sunday evening. I found Green Tech online and called at 7PM expecting to leave a message. I was grateful when my call was answered immediately and he said he could come replace it at 1PM the next day. He then promptly communicated through texting to answer a few questions that evening and the next morning. The next day, the guy showed up right on time and was professional, friendly, and helpful.
When my partner came home later that evening and had a minor complaint that the water heater wasn't perfectly level, the guy came out immediately the next morning and fixed the issue, even though it wasn't necessary. I really appreciated how prompt, communicative, and reliable this company was. I could tell that they really wanted to satisfy me as a customer. I definitely plan to use them again! I could not have asked for better customer service.

Very quick to respond, very communicative about arrival times. Transparent and professional. As a new homeowner I do appreciate their ability to break things down and explain clearly. As hot water heaters tend to do, ours kicked the bucket in the middle of the night on a weekend. David was one of just two plumbers who answered my Saturday morning call. I needed a new bathroom added in my basement and had called nine different plumbers. Five of them told me they would come and do the job and never showed up. Dave was the only one that showed up and did the job quickly. He was a little more expensive but they say you get what you pay for and none of the cheaper plumber showed up. It took me three months to find him and once I did he had it done within a week.

Ran into an issue with our garbage disposal. David was super professional and our disposal was working again in no time. Would definitely call again if needed.
