Best Sewer Pipe in Washington DC

I had a huge leak from my bathtub and this company came and was able to find the leak right away and communicated very well on how to fix it and all the necessary information. Then fixed it for me at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company and will use them soon again.

Kevin Jenkins was very responsive, efficient, and did a great job. He could have sold me on a much larger problem but it was a simple fix thankfully. Very nice guy. I will be calling him again and recommending him to any that ask. Thanks Kevin.

I called Affordable Plumbing yesterday because I needed an emergency water heater installation,my water heater has been leaking.The plumber,Brian,was very nice and polite and came to my house shortly after we spoke.the company came and was very quick,efficient,and was able to answer every question that I had.i recommend anyone in the DMV to call Affordable Plumbing,they are one of the most professional companies around,they will not disappoint.

Avoid! Steve (big guy with pony tail) came to look at my leaking shower. He tried to persuade me to avoid my insurance company, pointed his finger in my face several times, called me stupid, tried to instigate an argument between me and my neighbor, insulted my girlfriend, refused to provide a formal estimate before beginning work, sought for me to admit all liabilities prior to work (and diagnosis), and was told by my management to leave the building due to his inappropriate behavior. His assistant gave me a ballpark estimate for the work, which was 3.5 times the amount my insurance company would authorize. I went to Jiffy plumbing, who did it for 1/4 the price, and they were nice.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company! Save yourself the headache.

Contracted Mr. Super Plumber (Maurice Walton), on Thursday, December 10 to do a very simple install and exchanging out of pipes and rough-in in the basement before concrete was poured. I hesitantly gave him a 40% upfront and he also asked for another 10% when the job began. Regrettably, I did this and this is where the nightmare began. I know the job was simple because we hired a plumber afterwards who did the job in a half of day with a complete crew. Hindsight is always 20/20!

He showed up the following Tuesday with one worker that did not speak english (called him his helper) and was completely unprepared to do what we had contracted him to do. He spent most of that first day talking and making excuses about why he could only work 4 hours the first day instead of 8. He said that he was tired from having to respond to an emergency at a woman's house the day before. He asked me if it was ok for him to leave early after the first day because he was tired and that he was ahead of schedule. The work that he did on the 1st day could have been done in one hour with a skilled crew.

Day 2 and 3 were much of the same, he showed up late, left early, left the jobsite on multiple occasions for product runs, and had tons of excuses why a one day job had turned into 5. Maurice also communicated to me that my presence on the job site (the house that I own) made him nervous and asked me to trust him and that good work takes time. This was just another ploy and pressure tactic for him to avoid doing what he said that he would do. Aside from all of these other issues, Mr. Super Plumber was just unprofessional. There was zero urgency to do what he communicated at the time that he said we was going to do it. These were signs that I missed.

The entire time that he was on site he kept reminding me of how much money I was saving by using him and how he wasn't charing me more for things that he began to see that he did not anticipate. I regret that I did not follow my first instinct when I met him and went elsewhere.

To date he has received $3700 dollars from me and on the following Monday when he promised he was going to get the job done has disappeared and is not answering my phone calls or that of our general contractor. He told me that $2700 were for materials and all he bought was $100 worth of PVC pipe at best which are still left on site. I intend to file a police report as well because of this money that was stolen from me. To date he has not returned the deposit that we gave him and stated on the phone in our last conversation that he does not intend to.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company or guy. I can not say this strongly enough!

Sean was knowledgeable and professional. I am finishing my basement and I needed a professional to run plumbing to our future bathroom appliances. He noticed something a previous plumber missed. My bathroom was below the level of the street drain and the home builders had roughed in space for a pump. Without that, nothing in the bathroom would work! He also showed me how my sprinkler valve had a clear sign on it to replace it every 5 years (it had been 10!) and he taught me how to clean my A/C p-trap. Of course I hired him. The work was done in a day and they left the place cleaner than it started.

Excellent work, very experienced, and affordable. This is the best plumber in Arlington. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
