Best Sewer Inspection in Washington DC

Mr. Jenkins is a rare bird today! He delivers excellent workmanship, goes the extra step for the benefit of the client, is very competent and thorough and has reasonable rates. We called on a Saturday afternoon, he arrived on time with the replacement parts needed. The replacement wasn’t cheap but well worth the service. He’s a very professional and courteous person.
We will definitely keep his contact info and replace Cool Breeze (we had used them from 1996 until 2022).

Kap and his team have always been dependable, quick to respond and do high quality work. I’ve used him continuously at numerous businesses. He’s done buildout work, repairs and ongoing maintenance for us. Highly recommend.

Alejandro and his assistant arrived quickly and were wonderful! Took their shoes off as we are that kind of house - worked so carefully and quickly assessed and handled the problem! Even recommended further work I should have done to keep my household working. Loved their attention to detail and super fast response!

Contracted Mr. Super Plumber (Maurice Walton), on Thursday, December 10 to do a very simple install and exchanging out of pipes and rough-in in the basement before concrete was poured. I hesitantly gave him a 40% upfront and he also asked for another 10% when the job began. Regrettably, I did this and this is where the nightmare began. I know the job was simple because we hired a plumber afterwards who did the job in a half of day with a complete crew. Hindsight is always 20/20!

He showed up the following Tuesday with one worker that did not speak english (called him his helper) and was completely unprepared to do what we had contracted him to do. He spent most of that first day talking and making excuses about why he could only work 4 hours the first day instead of 8. He said that he was tired from having to respond to an emergency at a woman's house the day before. He asked me if it was ok for him to leave early after the first day because he was tired and that he was ahead of schedule. The work that he did on the 1st day could have been done in one hour with a skilled crew.

Day 2 and 3 were much of the same, he showed up late, left early, left the jobsite on multiple occasions for product runs, and had tons of excuses why a one day job had turned into 5. Maurice also communicated to me that my presence on the job site (the house that I own) made him nervous and asked me to trust him and that good work takes time. This was just another ploy and pressure tactic for him to avoid doing what he said that he would do. Aside from all of these other issues, Mr. Super Plumber was just unprofessional. There was zero urgency to do what he communicated at the time that he said we was going to do it. These were signs that I missed.

The entire time that he was on site he kept reminding me of how much money I was saving by using him and how he wasn't charing me more for things that he began to see that he did not anticipate. I regret that I did not follow my first instinct when I met him and went elsewhere.

To date he has received $3700 dollars from me and on the following Monday when he promised he was going to get the job done has disappeared and is not answering my phone calls or that of our general contractor. He told me that $2700 were for materials and all he bought was $100 worth of PVC pipe at best which are still left on site. I intend to file a police report as well because of this money that was stolen from me. To date he has not returned the deposit that we gave him and stated on the phone in our last conversation that he does not intend to.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company or guy. I can not say this strongly enough!

We had a kitchen faucet and a bathtub spout replaced. The service was timely and efficient. Our plumber was polite and professional. Will definitely call again as the need arises.

Had a clogged main sewage line. They came within 30 minutes and resolved the problem in 1 hour. Great service!

If you want a true professional and someone who is incredibly skilled at what he does, then call Henry at Lion's Plumbing. I wanted to convert my elderly mom's bathtub to a shower and received permission from the Apartment's Building Manager to proceed with the modification only after getting detailed our detailed architectural plans approved.

The job required that all existing work in the shower area would have to be brought up to code and we'd have only a 6-hour window to complete re-piping and relocating water supply lines within the stud wall because the water was turned off for 15 residents above my mom's unit that shared the same water line. Henry and his assistant were meticulous and painstaking careful to make sure that every soldered connection was done properly, and he completed his work with 30 minutes to spare.

The moment of truth though, came when the building engineers began the process of turning the water back on which was a gradual process because of the tremendous of a amount of water pressure running through these lines. First, the cold water was turn on slowly increasing the water pressure until the valve was complete open -- no leaks. Then the same procedure for the hot water -- again no leaks. The building engineer was super impressed because of the number of new connection points, he fully expected at least a couple of issues but there were no leaks -- a perfect job!

Lion's Plumbing managed to shine under the difficult and challenging circumstances and 5 stars does not accurately reflect the skill, professionalism and competence of Henry and his crew!

Very pleased the service from 4 Fast Plumber today. I made the request late last night, after business hours, around 7PM to Mike, he responded quickly, and was here by 9AM, even showed up a few minutes early. The job ended up being more complicated than expected, but he honored the original quote. I can definitely recommend for your plumbing needs!

I called Plumber in DC this morning after the tenants in our basement apartment informed us that their toilet was blocked up. Plumber in DC told us that a plumber would be dispatched within an hour or two if we would pay a $200 emergency fee. We agreed to the fee. Two hours later, Plumber in DC texted that it had accidentally doubled booked our plumber and that we would have to wait another two hours for him to complete another job before he could come do ours. I texted back and asked if I would still have to pay the emergency fee since we were not be treated as an emergency. Plumber in DC then called me and berated me over the phone, angrily telling me in a loud voice that, yes, we would still have to pay the fee and that I needed to remember that the customer is not always right. And that is a quote. He literally would not let me get a word in edgewise, yelling at me over the phone while my family sat around me listening and absolutely stunned by his behavior.

Were it not for our tenants, we would have cancelled the appointment right then and there and used the bathroom at our local McDonald's for the evening while we looked for another plumber. But we would not do that to our tenants. So we tolerated the behavior and did not cancel.

When the plumber arrived, he was from a company in Fredericksburg, Virginia -- 50 miles and more than an hour from DC. He told us it would cost $550 on top of the $200 emergency fee before he would even begin to snake the pipe. Again, at this point we had little choice but to agree. The plumber worked for about 1.5 hours, charged us $750, and told us afterwards that while the blockage was clear for now he couldn't guarantee the work because he wasn't sure if he'd actually fixed the problem.

So we are out $750 for 1.5 hours of work with no guarantee.

In sum, consumers should be aware that Plumber in DC is not a DC plumbing company -- it is a dispatching operation for plumbers all over the region. It is also very expensive, incredibly rude to its clients, and does not guarantee its work. Never again.
