I think this is my first ever google review, but I felt compelled to write because we had a nasty plumbing emergency and the Roto Rooter team in DC was amazing! They came within an hour of our desperate call, fixed our problem, and took on a significant mitigation project. They went above and beyond, communicated thoroughly, and were incredibly kind and competent throughout. I could not recommend them more highly.

Henry at Lion's Plumbing has performed professional, flawless, impeccable work in our house. He has gained our total confidence for his honesty and seriousness to the work at hand. During the renovations of our home in Petworth for our Victorian House, he installed all new plumbing, new toilets and Water heater and water tank. He also installed a renovated 100 year old sink and faucet in the main bathroom and a new shower to our original bathtub. We loved the work he did, high quality work and we would not call anyone else to do the work we so much appreciate. Do not use MH Barnes for Heat Pump Hot Water Heaters. We had them install an AO Smith water heater 22 months ago. They had promised a unit with a 10 year warranty and delivered a unit with a six year warrantly.

After six months the heat pump portion of it failed. They could not diagnose it. They sent out a junior person when it failed who knew nothing about heat pump hot water heaters. We called repeatedly for follwo up after this one visit. Barnes did not return phone calls.They did not help us with a warranty claim.

After we reached out to AO Smith directly, they helped us diagnose the failure using two simple thermometers and the software on the heat pump. AO Smith offered a warranty replacement.

I would not have Barnes do any work for us again.

Excellent service. I find this company to be very HONEST and reliable and the pricing is definitely fair.
Frank came out and quickly identified and fixed the faulty issue with a leak underneath our kitchen sink performed by another company.
We will only be using this company from now on.

Called them to come and get and estimate. They didn't call me until two days later. Set up an a appointment for the next day between 11am-1pm. They said the technician would call me when he would be on his way. Waited the whole time and no one called me. Finally called them back at 1.20pm and they didn't even know why I wasn't called back or where the technician was. They just said, he will be there soon. Offered to reschedule for two days later. I declined their services. Their lack of response and professionalism was terrible. I am glad I did not engage in a formal business relationship with this company. Who knows the type of delays or problems I would have had to face if I actually decided to contract with them.

Abe did it again. He mades dealing with a plumber a great experience because he knows his business. Came in to fix some leaky copper pipe in my house and as usual did it to satisfaction. Thanks Abe.
