We had an issue with one of our toilets not flushing. I tried a toilet snake and realized it was bigger then I wanted to deal with. I did a quick Yelp search and then a little research and decided to request a call back. This was about 630 Saturday night. Received a prompt text and we set up a time for Sunday. The tech, Michael, showed up within the stated time and got straight to work. He didn’t mind me hovering around while he worked, even though I would have been annoyed.. he answered any questions I had and gave me a play by play as to what he was doing and what may need to be done. At the end of the day he was unable to fix the toilet issue because it was unfortunately a much bigger problem. Based on the work I experienced for this job I went ahead and hired them to do the bigger repairs after a through explanation and what I considered a fair price for the amount of work needing to be done. I would recommend them to my friends.

Great service!!!! The technician Robert showed up on time, was professional in fixing the waterline to our sink and was done in 15 minutes all at a great price. I highly recommend this company.

Of course I am gonna rate 5 stars. This is a family business. (My family) 3 generations could be working on the same job. And mrs. Dodd answers the phone. Mr. Dodd (my dad) has been doing hvac, electric, plumbing and gas fitting for more years than I have been alive. I have worked for the family forever now my son is working. A true family business. We must be doing something right because we have had the same customers for years, now we take care of their children and even a few grand children. Although we do advertise a bit, referrals is how most people hear about us. Maybe we get so many referrals because we not only enjoy our customers but we are greatful to be asked to come in your homes and help remedy your problems.

Our A/C conked out on a Saturday night. Husband called Guy Smith the next morning. A tech came out to our house and fixed the problem and we were back to normal within a few hours. Pleased to have such prompt service on a Sunday morning.

The company and the plumbers that were sent out were very professional, and thorough but once they figured out the problem and where the leak was coming from, they were not able to fix the problem and stop the leak due to the layout of the kitchen. We did appreciate them coming out during the Thanksgiving weekend, but more plumbers had to be called out and of course this company still had to be paid.

Awful experience. After 24 hours of no water the plumber never showed within our appointment window. Called the dispatcher 3 times to check the status of the plumber's arrival and there answer was we do not know where he is. But the damage assessment women who was nothing but a salesman showed up twice. Tried to call customer service to complain and could not even get through. So my husband took off time from work to be home for the no show plumber.If you need a plumber call American Mechanical they came out within an hour and a half and were professional, fast, and very affordable!
