This is our second time using Cecilia's Home Repair for our plumbing needs. JB was the plumber on both occasions and he is lightening fast. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. After collecting price quotes from 6 different companies, we chose Sean to replace our hot water heater. He was the most reasonably priced and to top it off he was able to perform his service the very same day. It truly was a seamless process. He was very professional, helpful, great price and quick! Robin at Baybreeze made a shocking number of mistakes when hired to fix an exterior gas leak, dragging out what should have been done in 3 days to a full 3 weeks.

After ‘fixing’ the leak the first time, we learned from the city that his work failed inspection, and the lines were still leaking. After ‘fixing’ it a second time, VBG turned our gas back on, but the technician discovered an uncapped line spilling out beneath our deck. Had the technician not caught this and corrected Robin’s negligence, the consequences could have easily been catastrophic for us.

After coming out a third time, the leaks were finally fixed and the lines capped, but he proceeded to install a valve he’d removed earlier for no clear reason (it wasn’t the one leaking) in the wrong spot, and we ended up once again with gas cut off to our gas pack furnace, and our tankless water heater.

After all of this was finally settled, he proceeded to overcharge us by about $250 above what we’d agreed upon, citing the cost of a second pressure test (a test that would not have been necessary had he simply done his job right the first, or even second time around).

Robin was full of excuses at every turn, but all in all, based on my experience he and his company did not demonstrate the competence or reliability necessary to safely work on natural gas. I feel he left my home and my family at risk, and I cannot recommend that anyone hire him in the future.

AC went out, the appointment was easy to schedule and I was informed the entire way through. The tech came out and diagnosed and fixed the issue in a timely manner.

We had a hot water line leak and drain issue and the technicians knew exactly how to complete the repair in a timely fashion. They gave us instructions to stop the water damage until they arrived within 12 hours. I will always call them! Blessings blesses homeowners!

I called Rob to come out in the Winter of 2011 to convert some old washer/drier connections to the new standard. He told me the job would only take a few hours and it'd be done. Three hours later he was finished without ever having to go under the house. He hands me the bill and it's a whopping $2000. I was taken aback by how he figured he could charge this much. This was partly my fault for not receiving a quote beforehand but his predatory billing scheme is a sign of the kind of business he runs. I kept the refrigerator magnet he gave so that I could recommend my friends and family not use him.
