We woke up and expected a typical morning and stepped into a puddle of water in both our bathrooms. This is the first time we’ve had plumbing issues since moving into our home last year. I looked on Nextdoor and so many people recommended Cecilia’s Home Repairs. They were very responsive through text and called me when they said they would. Anthony arrived right on time and got to work to assess and fix the issue. He informed us of what caused the toilets to leak out and advised us on what to do next if we experience issues again. Truly professional and provided courteous service. So glad we found a trusted home service company in our area! We definitely would recommend to anyone!

I had a limb put a hole about the size of my fist in my roof over the garage this weekend. I called Mike this mourning and he was their within 30 mins. He fixed the hole, cleaned up the debris that was on my house and was finished within an hour. He did an excellent job and just seems to be a really down-to-earth guy. If I need some more work done around the house I will be giving him a call.

I had a plumbing leak, called, and was given an appointment early the next morning. They arrived on time, were friendly, and informative. I asked if I could schedule maintenance on my HVAC and they were able to service it the same day. All around great customer service experience from scheduling to execution. The same technician has come out every time and remembers us and previous work he did on our system. We ended up needing to replace our heat pump. The installation crew was very professional and accommodating. I love getting a text message when someone is on their way along with their name and photo so I know who to expect.

Over the last year, Gravity Plumbing has done multiple repairs at my residence. So far Gravity Plumbing has installed a dishwasher, repaired a leaking copper pipe in my kitchen wall, replaced my kitchen faucet, replaced a commode and is about to install a well for watering my garden! Zach and Smitty was great! They were prompt, very knowledgeable and explained and educated me on some things that will benefit me down the road with my home. Very communicative and professional. Friendly call center, as well. The majority of the work done so far has met our needs, although things get expensive. Maybe that's just the year we're all having.Their plumbing folks have been top notch, while the electrical and A/C folks have been solid, too.The reason for 4 stars (should be 4.5) is because the company is really understaffed... running balls to the wall constantly. This has led to numerous rescheduling. Not really their fault but it impacts scheduling, particularly when having to reschedule multiple times for one job.***EDIT - SEE BELOW***Edit/June 2022: I'm downgrading my initial review due to their HVAC / AC team. Highly unprofessional, ambiguous in their assessments, and extremely overpriced. They are the reason I will no longer use American Mechanical.The rest of my review holds true, although overall, American Mechanical is comparatively expensive for all the services they provide.-J

We have used Blessings Plumbing in Virginia Beach several times in the past 5 years or so.
First time was a foundation shift under our home resulted in broken / bent sewer lines needing to be repositioned and strengthened. Also had to rebuild the adjacent toilet flange arrangement, due to that foundation shift. It has worked perfectly since then.
Then, we moved our (tank) water heater from the kitchen to a tankless water heater in the attic. HVAC guys had run too light of a gas line when they moved the furnace to the attic. The Blessings plumber immediately recognized that problem and corrected the line to the proper diameter to allow for the greater flow need for both those appliances in the attic. Their installation was very neat and clean. I love having an endless hot water shower!
Most recently, my parent's condo had a toilet backup multiple times over the course of a few months. Each time I called them, they were there as quickly as needed. Even on a FRIDAY NIGHT! My father is in in-home hospice right now, and having his toilet functional is critical to him being able to stay out of hospitals or nursing homes. It was unusual for a toilet to clog these few times in such a short period. The first time, I was able to clear it myself. The next two time required their professional touch. Each time they had to remove the toilet from the floor to snake the drain, they reinstalled and cleaned up after the work completed; it looked as if they hadn't even been there. The problem was eventually traced to the sewer line beyond their building, with at least 3 separate breaks / shifts in that line, which was catching the stuff being flushed and causing a back up. They had the right equipment. A 100 foot plus drain snake, and a 100 foot plus camera to find and mark the trouble spots on the surface. When the utilities were dug up, their marks on the surface were directly over the sewer line faults, that were at least 4 FEET BELOW the ground!
Could you find a plumber for a cheaper price? Yes. Would you have the confidence in knowing it is fixed correctly? Probably not. Each service call with Blessings Plumbing has absolutely been worth the price. They are professional. They know what they are doing. AND, they do it right.
I am impressed with Craig Blessing and all his crews that have taken care of me and my family over the years. (They are who I call to take care of my own parents.) I recommend them every time one of my friends ask about plumbers.
I WILL use them for my future plumbing needs.
