Jimmy P was punctual, introduced himself when he arrived, and did all work as promised. I was very pleased to be able to get a water heater installed the morning after I called for service. Jimmy even found another problem and fixed that too! Everything was cleaned up before they left and you would never have known they were there.

There not all that great. Been called out twice in a years time. Blamed us for doing something we didn't do and neither time confirmed if they actually fixed the issue (water leaks). Came and changed all the flappers on the toilets and that's it. Never looked at the meter to see if it's showing water movement afterwards. Totally disregarded what we were saying to him. I say again Not All That Great. 👎👎👎

If you are like me when it comes to repairs I am just used to opening my wallet and let myself be robbed because of not being mechanically inclined. I got three estimate for repair to my AC unit and was given a range of 3000 to 5500 dollars being told this was needed, that was needed and so on. Anyway with money being tight I tried one more estimate and contacted James Dodd Plumbing and Air. The office staff was very friendly and was able to get Mr. Dodd himself out there the same day. So what the other repair places made seem like the end of the world turned out that just a minor repair was needed and the cost was minor. I was so relieved. So yes 'Virginia' there is a honest repair man out there. If you are looking for honesty, professionalism and people that follow through go with James Dodd Plumbing and Air.

Sean just saved me over $1000! Before I heard about Sean, I had two different plumbers (from bigger companies) try to fix my broken Sayco diverter shower valve, which was stuck and would not come out. Neither of the other two plumbers could get it out, even after muscling it for 20 minutes, and they both recommended that I tear out the tile and re-plumb the entire shower with a new fixture, and then re-tile the shower. I'd already lined up a contractor to do the job, knowing it was going to cost me a bundle. As a last ditch effort, I reached out to Sean and within 45 minutes he was able to remove the old diverter valve, and install a new one, so my shower functions like new! I can't say enough how thankful I am to find a good, reliable plumber who is willing to find a solution to a difficult problem. We'll be calling Sean for all future plumbing needs!

2 of the 3 issues had to be repaired within 6 months by another plumber. This was about 4 years ago. This work was done by one of the brothers. Never again. The owner is questioning my review. I submit to him that his family is from Vermont. How would I know this if there were not a contact ?????
