Worse than 1 Star! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They lie about the cost then cheat you. Here's the ugly detail. I had this guy (co-owner mind you) give me a quote (unfortunately not in writing) to inspect my work have it cleared for the city ($200). So I did the work, he came by and looked at it (10 minutes), went to the city and pulled a permit. everything was fine until he sent me a bill for $500!!! he said it took him 2.5 hours to drive 7 miles to city hall and another 1.5 hours for the work THAT I DID!. I told him that was dishonest. He said he had to charge someone for his time. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! They are liars and cheats.

Outstanding Company. Had a water leak underneath my bathroom sink. Anthony was here next day to repair leak. He did a fantastic job in no time at all, and for a very reasonable price. I also had him come back a few days later to install new pop-up drains, which are beautiful as well, to all three sinks. Again, he was very punctual and reasonable. He also added new piping to two of the sinks at no charge. This company is just exceptional all away round. Anthony is without a doubt very pleasant and has a great professional attitude. I am so pleased and love the look of all three bathrooms now. Therefore, I highly recommend you give this Company a call first for any plumbing issues, before going with anyone else. We had our Quest pipes replaced by Precision Plumbing. We were told to expect it to be a messy job and it was. We were expecting a mess however, we were not expecting a complete lack of respect for our home. There were several holes cut in walls where there were no pipes, water left standing on wood floors, plastic was put down after they had cut the holes, so it protected nothing, and the holes that were cut, were not in any way straight. We later found out that the person who was cutting the holes had only been on the job for a few weeks and he was not supervised. When we had a leak after they left, I called and was told that I would be charged for an after hours call if they came out. Thankfully my husband was able to stop the water.

As a response to Precision’s response, they did not honor the quote from February, $600 was added to that quote and I was told it was because the price of parts had increased that much from February to June.

I have only worked with Mr. Raymond briefly so far, but he will be handling a plumbing issue at a property I own in the area.. He was super helpful, polite, and knowledgeable on the phone it is nice to have that with a contractor - they are often times rushed, rude, and lacking in detail. With that said I will update this when the job is completely finished!

Aron and Travis did a great job of assessing the best way to plumb our Cat Genie into the laundry room sink. Thay used a special drainpipe with a dishwasher tee in the drain line for the Cat Genie waste line. They hooked up the cold-water line and used a special flexible drain trap to handle the trapping and the configuration differences from a standard u-trap.
The work is neat, clean, tidy, and not visible. This project went very smoothly from beginning to end. It cleaned up a tripping hazard, eliminated a water hose line and waste line eyesore, and made the maintenance more practical because of the increased movability of the Cat Genie itself.

Great Ingenuity, Great Workmanship, Great Professionalism, and Great Guys!!!

First time dealing with them - they completed a dishwasher install that someone else wasn't able to complete. I believe the fee was very fair.

Also, Robert and Jack (son) were very professional and helpful!

Booked an appointment between 10am and 12 , at 11:53 I called them Since I had not heard from them this morningI never got a courtesy call or anything that they were coming or running late or anything and told me that he would be there at 1pm an hour later. It would’ve been nice if he called Earlier and said he was running late I could’ve taken care of other things instead of waiting around like a dingbat. I have always had plumbing companies touch base with me in the morning to confirm the appointment let me know if there were any issues they would contact me not these people. Their loss 👎🏼

Nolan, tech #4147, who came to solve our plumbing issue was very professional and friendly especially for a late afternoon call. He fixed our problem and provided added information that was very helpful.

A1 is absolutely amazing. Very easy to schedule, they send you a message with a picture of the person coming to your house. Christopher Boyd, was very professional, he knew exactly what the issue was came in and had everything done and put back together very quickly. He was in and out of my house in less then 30 minutes. Working with the Va. Beach team of American Mechanical has been smooth and professional from the beginning. From the initial consult with Scott Hudson, follow-up and questions with James Olds, scheduling with Hannah Hodge, and then the install Team lead by Jacob Arnold. Jacob and team were sharp, hard-working, and efficient. The icing on the cake were their personalities. It's a rarity to find teammates with capabilities AND great personalities. All assets to the AM!

I called for AC service and expected it to take a while with the recent heat we have had. I received a callback within an hour. They had someone on site within 4-5 hours. My AC was back up and at a very fair price. I had them back a few days later to install several electrical outlets. I would highly recommend Colonial home services.

These guys installed my hot water heater. I paid $850 for the install when I bought the water heater. During the installation, a leaking pipe was found near the heater, but it did not affect the installation itself. The technician tried to completely halt the install, and just leave until I could get the pipe fixed. I asked if completion of the installation at a later date would be included and they refused. I couldn't afford to let the $850 go to waste, so I had to tell them to install it despite the leaking pipe and hope I don't have to pay for removal when my plumber needs access to the leaking pipe. Rough service.
