Tonight me and my three kids are at a hotel room because the owner jack I suppose couldn’t wait ten minutes for me to get fast food for my kids because he turned all my water off and left for two hours to get parts which I had no issue with aside from the fact that we can’t cook, poop, or wash our hands. So as I’m leaving to go right at the corner to get food for my kids from McDonald’s he pulls up and I told him I would be right back and I even called his cell and said it would take ten minutes tops. He then yelled saying he wasn’t waiting I was rude etc? Rude how when I’ve been waiting over two hours with a headache and low sugar and hungry kids because I can’t prepare dinner with no water and I didn’t know when he would return because he ignored my text. I was gonna turn around but he left I thought he would be able to understand I could see if I was going to be long and it wasn’t for food. I waited all afternoon for this man to come to my place from 1pm until 3:00 and then another two hours for him to find parts. All I did was call the rent office asking was there a way for me to turn the water back on they said no so I waited another hour and I decided to make a quick run because I wasn’t sure how long he would be so as I’m pulling off I see him and notify him not wanting to force him to turn the water back on and hold him up from working I decide to make a fast food run for the kids. There was no telling how long it would take to fix the plumbing issue. This man has the absolute most horrible customer service I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or what but it left me in tears not to mention my land lord was a total evil witch about it and I pay my rent faithfully never been late. This was a horrible experience. I am now at a hotel with my three kids because he refused to come back and turn the water on. He just left I even apologized but he was so cold hearted he didn’t care or reply to the text. My husband is still at work while all this is taking place we have no water to bathe brush our teeth or anything not even cold water. So I had no choice but to spend money I don’t have for a room, last time I checked leaving someone without water is illegal. I’d like to also note when he came to my home I asked him was the temperature ok would he like a water etc and he would turn around and treat me this way. God has the last say

Dominion Power and their contractors Team Fishel / New Technologies, damaged my sewer line when they were installing underground power lines. They would not accept responsibility for the damages and would not fix it. Even after The City of Norfolk got involved and told them they needed to. I called A-1 Sewer and Drain, they inspected the damage, confirmed it was due to construction by the contractors that were digging around the sewer line. A-1 installed a brand new sewer line and backfilled all the dirt that was dug up (even the dirt that the contractors previously had dug up and were responsible for backfilling). A-1 was responsive, communicated almost immediately when i had concerns or questions. Went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed. I appreciate the hard work very much, great job! Highly recommend.

We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. Had a toilet seal leaking and causing water to drain onto the ceiling below it had the home builders plumer come and quote fix the problem after cutting holes everywhere to find the issue. Few months later the shotty fix started leaking again of course now past the home warranty. So I called jim to get a real experts advice, when he showed up he took the toilet off and within minutes off having it off figured out that the builder had used the wrong sized toilet for the spacing on the flange to the wall. Once the real issue was discovered he recommend installation of a 10inch round usa made toilet to center the toilet over the flange properly. He accommodated my schedule and had some good conversation to boot would definitely recommend him to anyone.
