Best A/C System Repair in Virginia Beach VA

The air condition in the house quit working last night and it was already 85 degrees this morning in the house. We received a call that Steve would be here in a hour and he showed up and quickly fixed the air condition. I would use this company again. Thanks for the quick service.

Both the technicians were courteous and very knowledgeable. Sean and Zach helped me today. We had some old pipes that due to stress on the joints and age had come apart. They both did plenty of research to find the issue, went over the costs with me and recommendations. Once we agreed on the fix they went to work and knocked it out. The shower/tub now drains perfectly, I dont have to worry about the pipes being an issue in the future and they cleaned up their mess and recommend a good dry wall tech to fix the very small cut they had to make. This was my first time using Atomic Plumbing but I wont use anyone else again. I had 2 other companies look at this issue over the last year, only Atomic Plumbing took the time to use a camera and fully test and find the problem so it could be corrected.I really cant say enough about their work. Thanks again to them for putting my master bathroom back into service.

Tidewater Plumbing has saved me so much money on my plumbing and heating issues for the past 20+ years. Mr Martin knows how to fix every problem I have ever had at my house from replacing my heating a/c system to replacing pipes under my bathroom sink to finding a outside water leak. Mr. Martin and his partner Morris are true honest, polite, hardworking, very knowledgeable gentlemen. I would never trust my plumbing and heating issues to anyone else. More people need to have the integrity that Mr. Martin has.

If you are like me when it comes to repairs I am just used to opening my wallet and let myself be robbed because of not being mechanically inclined. I got three estimate for repair to my AC unit and was given a range of 3000 to 5500 dollars being told this was needed, that was needed and so on. Anyway with money being tight I tried one more estimate and contacted James Dodd Plumbing and Air. The office staff was very friendly and was able to get Mr. Dodd himself out there the same day. So what the other repair places made seem like the end of the world turned out that just a minor repair was needed and the cost was minor. I was so relieved. So yes 'Virginia' there is a honest repair man out there. If you are looking for honesty, professionalism and people that follow through go with James Dodd Plumbing and Air.

Our entire sewage line needed replaced. Mark did an excellent job working around our schedule to get the job done. He left the areas he worked in better condition than when he arrived! Too bad I can’t recommend a 6th star for going above and beyond

Paid $800 plus dollars for plumbing repairs 5 months ago - 3 times the average it should cost in my area for the same job. Pipes/Drains clogged again. Company says we're out of Warranty! What do you warranty your work for, 30 days? Incredibly disappointed in this Company's policy of not standing by their work. Do not recommend.

Tonight me and my three kids are at a hotel room because the owner jack I suppose couldn’t wait ten minutes for me to get fast food for my kids because he turned all my water off and left for two hours to get parts which I had no issue with aside from the fact that we can’t cook, poop, or wash our hands. So as I’m leaving to go right at the corner to get food for my kids from McDonald’s he pulls up and I told him I would be right back and I even called his cell and said it would take ten minutes tops. He then yelled saying he wasn’t waiting I was rude etc? Rude how when I’ve been waiting over two hours with a headache and low sugar and hungry kids because I can’t prepare dinner with no water and I didn’t know when he would return because he ignored my text. I was gonna turn around but he left I thought he would be able to understand I could see if I was going to be long and it wasn’t for food. I waited all afternoon for this man to come to my place from 1pm until 3:00 and then another two hours for him to find parts. All I did was call the rent office asking was there a way for me to turn the water back on they said no so I waited another hour and I decided to make a quick run because I wasn’t sure how long he would be so as I’m pulling off I see him and notify him not wanting to force him to turn the water back on and hold him up from working I decide to make a fast food run for the kids. There was no telling how long it would take to fix the plumbing issue. This man has the absolute most horrible customer service I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or what but it left me in tears not to mention my land lord was a total evil witch about it and I pay my rent faithfully never been late. This was a horrible experience. I am now at a hotel with my three kids because he refused to come back and turn the water on. He just left I even apologized but he was so cold hearted he didn’t care or reply to the text. My husband is still at work while all this is taking place we have no water to bathe brush our teeth or anything not even cold water. So I had no choice but to spend money I don’t have for a room, last time I checked leaving someone without water is illegal. I’d like to also note when he came to my home I asked him was the temperature ok would he like a water etc and he would turn around and treat me this way. God has the last say

Mr. Boyd arrived on time for the issue I had with the code E 785 with the waterless tank .He checked it and gave me his opinion what the issue was about the code. I was satisfied with his knowledge and the explanation about the waterless tank. He will check further into this for me to have A1 set up a yearly service maintenance.

Comfort Tech was very knowledgeable. Explained the process in detail.*** Update Post Heat Pump Install ***Communication has been great from start to finish. They installed the XR14 heat pump and TAM4 air handler today. The install crew was on time, professional, and answered all of my questions. Their startup process is very thorough and the job site is spotless after cleanup. I have two additional Trane heat pumps that will probably need to be replaced in a few years. American Mechanical will get my business.
