I do NOT recommend this business. I paid $670 for a shower leak repair that never got fixed. I am very dissatisfied with their work. I found them via Thumbtack where I specifically posted I had a shower that was leaking and needed a faucet replaced, but after they worked on it for two days the problem was never fixed. Water kept leaking from my shower head, even after the faucet was closed all the way off. When they first came to my home, I spoke to business owner, I believe his name is David, I explained that as a temporary fix I installed a shower head with an on/off button. I told him that a while ago, someone else who looked at the shower suggested removing the entire faucet from the pipes and replacing it with a new one as it also was not delivering hot water. I explained that in order to do this they would’ve had to break part of the wall to get behind it as it did not have access elsewhere. David said he understood and that he would fix the leak. He worked on it for a bit that day, then said he needed to return as they needed parts. He quoted me around $670. I thought it was high but I did not haggle and agreed. I asked to pay half on that day and then the other half when the job was completed. He agreed, and went off to buy the part. He returned but said that he needed to wait another day for the part to be delivered. When he returned the next day (around three hours late) I was not able to be present but I allowed him to continue the work as I believed he understood the situation and perceived him as a professional. When he was done, he called me and told me the valve was replaced and that it no longer leaked, saying that he even waited minutes to make sure no leak happened. I thanked him and paid him the remaining amount. When I returned home, the leak was still present. I called him and expressed the leak still happened and he said he would return later in the evening to check it out. But he was not able to make it as he was busy and said he would come the following day around noon to check it out. The next day I came home early and I kept texting him, calling him, on which seemed to be a GOOGLE VOICE number, I left voicemails, and he did not reply for almost the entire day. Finally towards the late afternoon he answered saying that he was not able to come back as he was very busy with other projects, and because he believed the job was completed. When I told him the leak was still happening he blamed it on the shower head I had temporarily installed to stop the leak. He said he did replace a valve, which apparently was my original ask, and he expressed that next time I shouldn’t make recommendations as he is the educated plumber unlike myself in a very degrading manner. I told him that any advice I had given him in regards to what was needed was just from my perception as I am not a plumber whatsoever. I kept pleading him to return and continue to fix the leak but he said I was talking in circles and that he would not return unless I paid him for the visit, and even more for any further repairs. I told him that he was free to call me back when he came to his senses as I am a very dissatisfied customer and the initial job was not complete, but he never called back.

I got an underground waterline burst Sunday morning. Called the city and supplemental insurance to get a solution for it. The insurance send a plumber Monday afternoon. The plumber did went by his business to and assess that this was not in the insurance scope. I got a bid and later I was told that I had to wait two days more for him to come by I really was treated as one more in the line. At this point we were in our second day without water. A couple of plumbers refuse me over the phone.

I do not know why I just came back to my web browser and kept looking for a professional that wanted the business and had some empathy for our situation. I found Acts of Service online, it was a moment of illumination or divine intervention.

Rickey talk to me over the phone, I exchanged some photos of the situation and told me that he would call me back within an hour. He called me back in less than an hour and told me that if I wanted, he would send one of his guys next thing in the morning.

Next day came Mike, the plumber on behalf of AOS.

Mike gave me an estimate and guided me on the steps. After I was given the bid which was more competitive and offer the chance of having the work done the same day I did agreed to proceed. What a happy moment and wise decision it was.

An expert plumber that new what was happening, put all the sweat in digging a 3 foot deep, 8 feet long and a foot wide trench. Mike corroborated his assessment and show me the broken pvc fitting.

Mike updated the connection up to code and did the leak tests. Rickey brought the parts and shake hands. We were relieved from a stressful situation.

We often overlook the small things that make our life good: shelter and water.

I appreciate Rickey for giving peace of mind even before I hired him. One thing is certain: he is in a mission and his company and employees ( Mike and Kristen in the office) are in the same direction.

These good people will take care of you, I do appreciate it so will you. Previous feedback besides mine are truthful and consistent with our experience

Don't think you will find a better plumber. Eric was Proficient and customer service oriented. I highly recommend their services. Excellent!

Our experience with Airco has been great. Professional and timely service.
Our service technicians were great, they were in and out in an hour and a half. They replaced our garbage disposal and faucet. Looks great! We will continue to use Airco for our HVAC maintenance.
