I live in an older triplex and my landlords live on the premises, too. With older houses come older pipes and we get slow-downs and clogs probably twice a year or maybe even more. I know my landlord has had Cal's over for other more complicated jobs, and this family-owned company has consistently delivered in quality, communication, and responsiveness.They make every effort to get out sooner if they have a cancelation and always let you know what's going on. Everyone is friendly, professional, and during this COVID situation, the staff confirming the appointment has a brilliant questionnaire to ensure safety of not only the resident but the staff who are risking their health and wellbeing every time they step into someone's home. Dealing with RES-COM Plumbing was a dreadful experience. Initially, the original plumber who responded to the call did the work and gave us the quote was a decent man. I would enthusiastically work with him again if he were not connected with RES-COM Plumbing. Once the job was finished a new contact billing person started contacting me. That is when the problems began. His first contact was to issue an unexplained bill for $992.00 when the original quote was $500.00. There was also a $75.00 holding fee my tenant had to pay to assure services. The bill arrived void of any breakdowns of costs or charges and was presented in narrative form as if he was trying to tell a story. When I contacted him to ask for explanations he became indignant. He even called my tenant numerous times seeking payment before we were able to agree on the terms. Finally, I was able to speak with the owner who agreed to lower the cost to $700.00 in addition, he would provide a 30% future discount for any future services. The decent thing to do would have been to give that discount for THIS job along with the reduction. He surely knew I would never use them again to ask for that discount, which means he would never honor it. Decency was not a consideration. The biggest problem I have is with the billing colleague who harassed me and my tenant for the better part of a week and the way he/they presented an invoice void of costs and charges. The hostile manner in which the billing person communicated with me also shocked me to the point of disbelief. To be fair to the original plumber, he did a fine job and it was a joy to work with him. My issue is with the hatchet billing man & to a lesser degree, the owner for harassing us for payment - even blaming us for the added arbitrary costs. The bill was fully paid within nine days. It was a horrible week and a half of harassment. I have never witnessed such unprofessional and despicable behavior from a company whose sole job is to provide an honest service. They are far from honest from what I experienced and could never in good conscious recommend RES-COM Plumbing.

This plumbing company is hands down the very best! Very professional and honest. I had a root nest in my sewer pipe along with a root that actually broke through the pipe, and these guys replaced it in less than 4 hours. Freddy and his partner where very knowledgeable and professional, and did not leave a mess when they where finished, they even power washed my walkway. The owner Jose, very kind person! They were not only honest, but VERY fair when it came to the cost. I would highly recommend Rooter King for all your plumbing needs. Thank you Rooter King!

Job Requirement: Full house re-pipe (Poly with PEX), replace water heater, replace main water line from street to home shut off valve.

I generally don't take the time to post reviews but was compelled to since the job requirement was extensive and expensive and as such may be helpful to others.

Contacted 5 plumbing companies. 4 provided quotes and 1 was a no-show. Needless to say, the 4 bids were wildly different and all provided moderately different approaches for re-plumbing the home. Eventually selected Plumb. Why?

1: They were the most certain about the re-plumb approach.
2: Whole Home re-pipes appeared to be a core competency.
3: Others who utilized Plumb provided favorable reviews.
4: Although not the cheapest their pricing was competitive.

Review:
1: Crews were always on time (shocking in todays environment !!).
2: They re-piped exactly as they described during the assessment. I believe Plumb's approach was the least disruptive (other plumbers planned to move some exterior plumbing which made me somewhat nervous).
3: Cleanup was excellent.
4: Only gripe (small) is the dry wall repair was great in most rooms but only good in one room. The skip trowel texturing was smoother than the rest of the wall. If you look wall with the intent of see if the texturing matches it is pretty obvious that it does not. However, after replacing the wall hanging items it isn't as noticeable.

Overall: Would recommend Plumb for any plumbing needs but especially for an extensive job like this one. I should note that we had a small gas leak in a pipe above our kitchen that Plumb was also contracted to repair (yes... crazy timing). When Southwest gas returned to turn our gas back on and test everything the technician shared that we must have hired a very good plumber because the quality of the water heater installation was exceptional. He said he has seen many shoddy water heater installations by other plumbers in town.

They did a fantastic job of installing a new HVAC for me. I highly recommend this company for purchasing a new system or repairing yours.

Horrible experience. would not recommend them. Surprise by their price. Wrong estimate that they quoted me and after their mistake would not work with me on an adjustment.
