I would have liked to have given a better rating for this company. The technician was super nice and he came to my home the same day promptly. What should have tipped me off is that he tried to give me a quote for a new water heater right off the bat, without even looking at the water heater. I told him I thought it was the thermocouple.

The quote was really high but I was desperate for hot water. I totally get the $139 charge for after hours. Which I was glad to pay. He installs the new thermocouple,Tries to light it a couple times, but he realized the gas was still shut off. Turns on gas...Tries to light it again, thermal couple doesn’t stay lit, then says it’s the gas regulator, and that I might as well just get a new water heater because of the price to install a gas regulator. I asked what the charge would be because it took maybe tops 15 minutes to install. And furthermore, he didn’t even seem to troubleshoot it for that long.He said well technically I did the job it’s $439. (300 labor)And said that if I got a new water heater he would put some of that money towards a new water heater.
I just felt screwed over. I told him I’ll wait on the new water heater. It just felt fishy, I called Bluflame the next day, they came out, Looked at it did some adjustments, lit right up, he said it was not worth writing up and did not charge me for coming out. I would like a partial refund from Pipe Doctor.

They just called to tell me they could not come out as scheduled and offered to reschedule. I had already taken time off from work....

Well as of now you are off the schedule, if you don't like it, I suggest you look for another company. -ginger

My wife wants to reschedule, but visions of nobody showing up to finish the work, just will not let me.

I had an emergency backup of sewage in my basement on Saturday night. They were the only company open and willing to come out on short notice to clear out the blockage in my drain.

I had them out Sunday afternoon and they absolutely crushed it! They arrived on time and knocked it out with a level of professionalism their competitors just don’t possess. They ran me down the entire process, so that it was easy to understand, and they were in and out in less than an hour. Not to mention they didn’t make a huge mess, and they even cleaned up before they left!

Full service for a comparable price to other companies that don’t care nearly as much. From the phone call to the owner, to the two techs Christian and Roger that came out to perform the fix, a positive experience overall. Would highly recommend 10/10!

Jacob from T&J Plumbing did an OUTSTANDING job replacing my backup sump pump! He was on-time, professional, and honest about pricing and options. T&J were hired after one plumber admitted he was not qualified for the job and plumber number 2 (Roto-Rooter) flooded my basement. T&J were quick to respond to diagnose and provide an estimate and completed the work within 48 hours. I would highly recommend T&J for any of your plumbing needs! (Also, Roto-Rooter was twice as high for half the work that T&J did!) Your best bet is to hire small, local companies! Thank you, Jacob!

We had this company to unclog a kitchen drain. We were told they would charge $100/hr and stay until clean. After 2 hours we were told they did not have a snake long enough for our drain and tried to charge for 3 hours of service. The man who owned the company was very rude to me. They told me they checked the trap but when I went out after they left the door was frozen shut, they never opened it. Probably fine for a quick fix, but don’t expect them to try very hard.

I have had two experiences with these folks:
1) The first one was an after hours natural gas leak and they were great - good workmanship and fair pricing. So I called them first for the next plumbing job I wanted someone else to do...
2) Scheduled them to install an outdoor natural gas outlet for a grill, and they never showed up for the appointment that had been made ~2 weeks prior. Called and they had no record of my appointment in their books, and couldn't offer anything to expedite getting the work done due to their scheduling mistake. I will now be taking my current and future business elsewhere.

They were very pleasant on the phone. I get a call few hrs later ahead of the promised time that he can come now. The guy was very nice however what I explained on the phone was not what they came to do. The wanted to offer me the same service a competitor already tried and didn’t work. I expressed that I wasn’t welling to pay for a service that we know won’t work, I was told that’s not how we do things and they packed their stuff and left. Correct me if I am wrong but if ur drain doesn’t drain and u know that method one won’t work will u try it again and pay again for it or try something different!!!

Zach did a great job diagnosing my AC problem which turned out to be the thermostat. I bought one at HD for $30 instead of the expensive one he offered. But he took the time to show me how everything worked. He also serviced the ac unit outside, which I requested. The bill was pricey but I was expecting that as I was informed up front about charges. Still, considering I didn’t even get the thermostat from them over $400 was a bit much. But he did top up the refrigerant and clean the coil. great quick response and impressive service from Zach. I would have given 5 stars if the value was better.

Have used Root Wrestler twice now - once for a big job and once for simple drain cleaning. They are friendly, professional, prompt, do great work and don't charge an arm & a leg for their services.
