Best Heat Pump Replacement in Toledo OH

Update to my earlier review regarding water heater installation. Josh and his entire organization went the extra mile in resolving the issues i had with the water heater installed in 2022. If your looking for professionalism and integrity in a company I highly recommend Ace Plumbing.

Had an issue with a drain in my garage. Hired Pipe doctor to use a small camera to go into the line to check it out. The technician was professional and polite. The only issue I have is that the charge was $250 dollars. It did involve cutting and reattaching a pvc pipe and I agreed to the charge beforehand. But the job took maybe an hour or so of work. This to me was way too expensive

I called this company after hours for a drain issue, and told him that though it was draining at the time of my call, I would have him snake it anyway. He was extremely polite and said he would send someone out for a few of 125.00. I was delighted! He sent a tech out who looked at the drain and ran water through the drain and said it seemed to be working and it was up to me, at which time I said “since you’re going to charge me either way, go ahead and do it”. The tech said “no, I won’t charge you”. So since he said he didn’t think it was needed, and it was no charge, I said ok don’t worry about it. I then went in to ask about other services and said I would call to get an estimate on those jobs the next day. He was exceptionally kind.
Ten minutes later, I got a text from the owner lecturing me on how I said I would have it fixed regardless of whether it was draining or not. And because he sent a tech lot, I owed 96.00. I explained to him that his service tech said no charge. And had I known I was going to pay 96.00 for nothing, I would have rather had him auger it for the 125.00. He then responded that he thought I would have communicated HIS conversation with me to the tech and that there was “blame” on both sides. Blame??? I didn’t shirk the bill. I even said “you’re going to charge me for coming out so go ahead and do it”. But now I am the bad guy because his tech walked away without billing. Sure, I will pay for the call, but his tech made the wrong call - he shouldn’t have said no charge only to have me pay 96.00 for absolutely nothing after the fact. And the fact that the owner would come back to me and say I was partially to “blame” is absolutely pathetic.

Called when there was hard clog in the drain from the kitchen sink. Called at 8am when they opened and the lady on the phone was very nice and polite!
She set up an appointment for later that day in the afternoon. Lucas arrived and took care of the problem completely and professionally! The price was reasonable and the drain is running great since they were over, a week ago! Very happy with Fickwood and highly recommend them!

E&K Contractors are top notch! They came out to give 2nd opinion after another contractor told me I needed to replace 15 feet of sewer and recommended I replace the entire sewer while I was at it. E&K cleared our sewer, which the other company did incompletely, and did so for 1/4 the cost. They also gave me an honest assessment of how much line was faulty and repaired 7 feet of sewer for half the price. City inspectors were present for the whole job so I'm certain it was done right. The crew was professional, efficient, and fun to have around. You can't go wrong with E&K!

First, I had the gas line that needed to be installed. He’s so quickies in and out no wonder it’s not right… The gas company was here they red flagged, my gas line and stove. He will not repaired or fix it. He said he did not do the job I sent him over both checks canceled. He cashed them one for 375 for the gas line and one for 350 for changing out to on off valves . I know I got ripped off but I needed it done. And now that gas line is gonna cost me over 300 again because I have to be taken out replaced properly and put in. I’m going to file with the Better Business Bureau and I’m going to file with a small claims for my $375 back.
