Best Clogged Pipe in Toledo OH

I called this company after hours for a drain issue, and told him that though it was draining at the time of my call, I would have him snake it anyway. He was extremely polite and said he would send someone out for a few of 125.00. I was delighted! He sent a tech out who looked at the drain and ran water through the drain and said it seemed to be working and it was up to me, at which time I said “since you’re going to charge me either way, go ahead and do it”. The tech said “no, I won’t charge you”. So since he said he didn’t think it was needed, and it was no charge, I said ok don’t worry about it. I then went in to ask about other services and said I would call to get an estimate on those jobs the next day. He was exceptionally kind.
Ten minutes later, I got a text from the owner lecturing me on how I said I would have it fixed regardless of whether it was draining or not. And because he sent a tech lot, I owed 96.00. I explained to him that his service tech said no charge. And had I known I was going to pay 96.00 for nothing, I would have rather had him auger it for the 125.00. He then responded that he thought I would have communicated HIS conversation with me to the tech and that there was “blame” on both sides. Blame??? I didn’t shirk the bill. I even said “you’re going to charge me for coming out so go ahead and do it”. But now I am the bad guy because his tech walked away without billing. Sure, I will pay for the call, but his tech made the wrong call - he shouldn’t have said no charge only to have me pay 96.00 for absolutely nothing after the fact. And the fact that the owner would come back to me and say I was partially to “blame” is absolutely pathetic.

Jacob from T&J Plumbing did an OUTSTANDING job replacing my backup sump pump! He was on-time, professional, and honest about pricing and options. T&J were hired after one plumber admitted he was not qualified for the job and plumber number 2 (Roto-Rooter) flooded my basement. T&J were quick to respond to diagnose and provide an estimate and completed the work within 48 hours. I would highly recommend T&J for any of your plumbing needs! (Also, Roto-Rooter was twice as high for half the work that T&J did!) Your best bet is to hire small, local companies! Thank you, Jacob!

It went great. I called several contractors. Bob from E&K was the only one to actually show up at the appointed time. They worked around my work schedule and were happy to communicate via text message so I didn't have interruptions at work.

We need 50 feet of sewer line installed. E&K did a great job. We have a lot of large trees on the property and they took great care not to damage them, snaking the line around to avoid large roots and never once complained. It was even difficult to find the sewer line, taking several more hours than was planned, but I barely heard about this. I left for work in the morning and when I got home the job was done.

E&K handled all of the permitting. This was fantastic. I didn't have to deal with inspectors or make phone calls or any of that. They just took care of it. This was a real treat. At one point they needed a signature and someone drove all the way out to my work just for me to sign a form. How cool is that?

I've used a lot of contractors for large jobs at our fixer-upper home. E&K has been one of the best. They are punctual, courteous, professional and they do what they say they will. No hidden charges or non-returned phone calls. Pricing was completely fair. I would gladly use them again for a future project and highly recommend them to you too.

Still waiting on him to return and put the access panel on and show me where the shut off valves are that I paid him to install, this is now 3 days that I have been told he would be here no show!!!!!! Wasted another day September 21 called him said he would be here after his meeting yesterday morning called around 230 he got very upset,I said I didn't want to waste another day waiting and not have him show for the fourth time, he stated he was still in a meeting and I was very annoying we will be going to court update, hired Downey plumbing they came out, informed me that there weren't any shutoff valves installed , Rob stated he did put them in I will be requesting a full refund
