Seattle Plumbing, Septic, Sewer, Heating & Air. Plumber
We called 2 Sons for help installing a garbage disposal that would require some pipe rerouting.
They came out for the initial estimate within a couple days of our first call and had an estimate promptly to us. We needed to do a couple things before so we reached back about a month later. They were able to update the estimate for us and come out within 2 days!
Anthony arrived right on time and got straight to it. He had the pipe rerouted and the disposal installed within the timeframe they promised and thoroughly tested all the connections, including the dishwasher, for leaking.
Thanks for the great service! We will certainly come back to 2 Sons Plumbing in the future.

Beacon Plumbing Plumber
Update: Per the owner's comment below, I connected with Kasen at Beacon to see if there had been a pricing error. He reviewed the job and referenced their price book and confirmed that I was charged correctly. In other words, they do charge $1,400 for 2.5 hours of labor.Too Expensive! I was working on replacing a bathroom exhaust fan/heater/light combo. I had success in getting the old unit out, but once I saw the wiring involved, I realized I was in over my head. I called Beacon at 1:50 on a Saturday afternoon and they had someone at my house around 2:30. After looking at the unit the Electrician said he should be able to replace it for approximately $600, which sounded high but the service call cost $75 and he was there quickly on a Saturday. He then left to grab some Teriyaki for lunch and to get a pair of glasses (because he lost his). When he returned around 3:30 he said he needed to install an extender switch for the wires at an additional cost of $700. He was correct, the wires were too short and needed to be extended. He started working on the unit and was done by 6:00. The Electrician was friendly and very knowledgeable, but the job did not require any expensive materials and took a total of 2.5 hours to fix. I think that a total charge over $1,400 was unreasonable. Unfortunately I was in a jam and needed it fixed quickly, but I won't be calling them again merely because I feel like I was overcharged.

Emerald City Sewer Plumber
My outside drain backed up into my basement. I called Wayne at Emerald City Sewer and he and his crew came over that evening. Evidently the problem was quite a ways from the house. Not only did they blow out the entire line, but they installed an outside access to the sewer line, which I didn't have in my 1962 house. Cleaned up like they were never there. Highly recommend!

Clearwater Leak Detection, Inc. Plumber
Awesome. $500 bucks well spent finding a water main leak along my 350 ft run. Put down that painted X within 6 inches of the leak that was 2 feet down. Stopped me from continuing to make my driveway look like a scene from the movie Holes. A few hours of backbreaking labor on my part saved me a $13k line replacement. Woohoo.

Akers Outdoor Plumbing, Inc. Plumber
Without a second thought I would recommend and call Akers Outdoor Plumbing again. I came home from work and discovered a water mainline leak in my front yard/porch area. I have some good experience with broken things around the house but water endless rushing from my home into my front yard - not one of them.

I received a few bits of advice on 1) needing to locate where the water main line leak is 2) marking that location and 3) then servicing the lines where the leaks or breaks are. This is where I found the Akers can do all of this rather than hiring two companies - one to detect where the leak is at and then another to service and repair the pipe.

I was lucky and they were able to accommodate coming out the same day I called to take a look and give me an assessment of how bad the water leak was, a general estimate and assessment and help in whether to call the Seattle Public Utilities to come out and shut off the water. In doing so, Andy and Traci coordinated with me all day, great communication and made me feel confident with choosing someone I didn't know yet to help me.

Here is a recap of why I preferred and appreciated their service. Honest assessment from Day 1. Helped me turn off my water by myself at street level and showed the tools to use so I could use water when I needed until the permanent fix could be worked out. 2. Fair estimate and pricing - never once did I receive pricing that felt gouging or high 3. Great communication - Being flexible is key in this line of business from the customer end. Sometimes their jobs take longer than expected so my job had to be pushed by a day or so. Always talked to me about delays or changes right away and gave me a good understanding of when it was going to be rescheduled. 4. Going above and beyond to take care of me with helping with certifications, inspections from the city, rebates for excess water usages etc. I didn't ask for this help ( and didn't even know I should). They saved me hours of calls on the phone with inspectors and the ulilties company and thousands of dollars with fast-forwarding the rebate process. 5. The repair job was done right. Quality materials. Timing. No short-cuts. They took care of my home like it was their's or one of their family members. Trust isn't easily earned, especially with a trade that I may not even know how to assess quality or inaccuracies right...Andy and his crew (and amazing talented wife) are amazing and I'm glad I worked with them.

O'Neill Plumbing Plumber
I called for a running toilet and unfortunately the part that was needed wasn’t in their stock for weeks. They were able to offer an alternative solution. We were able to order online sooner and will attempt to fix on our own. I appreciated the same day appointment and professionalism by Farmer and Reed. They understood our need to get the parts in sooner. They only charge if they perform the work. I’m going to reach out to O’Neill in the future. (I’ve used another plumbing company and they charge just to give me an estimate)

When our older house was having some drainage problems in the basement for which I’d spent weeks looking at diy fixes. We appreciate his awesome demeanor and knowledge; we will absolutely be the first person we contact with any future concerns. Thanks Joe!!

TSCO Plumbing, LLC Plumber
We had several plumbers come out to fix a leaky Kohler shower/tub valve, and all of them told us we'd have to cut a hole through our shower enclosure to replace the whole thing.

We called Joe from TSCO from a recommendation from a friend, and he was great. He let us e-mail photos of the valve to him and he arrived with the necessary parts already in hand, and there was no need to cut a hole in the shower. He also squeezed us in two days early, too! The end result? Our valve is no longer leaking. Plus, he fixed a rust stain in the tub and replaced a toilet flapper while he was here.

Joe is very thorough, knowledgeable and does a quality job. He's more expensive than some other plumbers we called, but clearly you get what you pay for. TSCO is definitely our plumber of choice!

Beacon Plumbing Plumber
Buyer be ware! My parents are senior citizens. During the virus crisis my folks water heater went out. They called Beacon plumbing. They quoted $5000.00 for a standard 50 gallon hot water heater gas powered. Everything was up to date with earth quake straps and proper venting. They literally just needed to drain the existing and hook up the new. This is typically a 2 hour or less job for a good crew. I was blown away that a company who represents Seattle Seahawks would try to over charge my parents. To me this is stealing. I understand that the business needs insurance and it’s not cheap for plumbing but I have never heard of this kind of mark up. $2000 maybe $2500 tops. Not double. It is obvious that these guys are getting commission and they’re not being considerate of people’s budgets and how easy these crews are taking advantage of older people making me never wanna watch the Seahawks again. I will be submitting letters to the city, the Seahawks franchise, The better bureau business, the local Chamber of Commerce, and media outlets. This can’t happen and keep going as it’s unsustainable for our local economy and our senior citizens and people in general should not get used like this. A friend and I install the water heater in an hour and a half , for less than $500 , for the same water heater. We saved my parents $4500 and my mom was crying that a-company will take advantage of us like this in our community. How outrageous! As a fellow business owner please stop gouging the market , this makes all businesses suffer with consumer confidence dropping , thank you beacon plumbing for the great experience we literally were freaking out on you!

Leak Masters Plumber
Tough problem - A significant leak with no visible surface moisture and over 250 feet of potential sources. Kevin was able to find it quickly, and then verify using other methods it before we committed to taking up a bit of asphalt. His 'X marks the probable spot' missed by maybe 4 inches. My wife and I fixed our 1000 gallon/day leak ourselves before dinner. Kevin's bill was higher than I'd have liked, due to the complex nature of the problem and the need to use helium to confirm the probable location of the leak, but the fix cost us a $20 trip to Lowes, some beer and take out food! Kevin was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were happy to pay for the right tools in the hand of a seasoned pro. Highly recommend.

Josh was great. Knowledgeable, respectful of our home and time. When he made some preventative maintenance suggestions, he took the time to explain all aspects of the work in simple terms. This was a first time maintenance call, but Josh has earned his company a future client when the need arises.
