Best Hot Water Heater Repair in San Jose CA

This place is awesome! Our toilets stopped working at end of business on a Saturday. We called 5 24 hr plumbers - including a couple of big name guys - and NO ONE could send out a plumber!!! When we finally got to LOCAL Rooter/Plumbing on the list of 4 & 5 star places, the owner simply said 'OK - I'll send Skylar out there. Well Skylar was there within the next 30 mins - and that guy is the BOMB! He really knows what he's doing. I felt very confident having him here from the moment he drove up. Listening to him talk about plumbing, and our problem specifically, was SUCH a relief! Once he arrived and heard what was going on, he knew what it likely was, and he was right! He really did a thorough job, then thoroughly explained to us what he did. Like I said - he knew what it was before he started! He's been plumbing in the area for about 10 years (I asked), and we'll call LOCAL & request Skylar if we need to in future. Price for the weekend emergency was reasonable. It could have been a LOT more...

We reached out to Chandler's to replace our hot water heater and recirculating pump and to see if they could help us to coordinate removing an old, unused water softener and also to replace some damaged sheetrock. They were very polite, quick to get to our home, and technically did a fine job.

The manager or owner and the plumbers at our house were all very polite. They took pride in their work, worked with us to do jobs that were probably beyond their usual scope, and overall we were very happy.

Many plumbers don't strap the water heaters correctly (the lower strap is supposed to be at least 4 from the controls), but this crew did it perfectly.

The one area that could be improved is proactive communication. I did have to keep reaching out to the company to find out what was happening next as there were several steps / visits involved. That said, when I did, the manager or owner responded quickly.

He was polite, efficient. He offered me options & I got to choose the one I wanted. He was quick & cleaned up after himself. Very nice young man named Brian.

Sergio was on time, quickly took care of the problem. Will definitely use them again if I need a drain cleared.

I have used Plumbtree twice now, and both times I was happy with their service. I called them for a laundry drain clog that urgently needed to be fixed, and they responded quickly. They sent two technicians (Anthony and Thomas) who not only cabled and flushed the drain, resolving my issue, but also did a quick general inspection - including replacing the flapper valve on my toilet (which was constantly running) and adjusted the lift chain so that it would actually flush correctly… for free! They were polite, professional, wore shoe covers without being asked, and even crawled under the house to make sure there were no leaks or anything, photographing the supply and drain sides for future reference and to gauge anything that needed to be monitored. They had documents and receipts electronically available before leaving and were generally a pleasure to work with.

This past week I requested they return for an estimate to do a complete re-pipe and new water heater, among some other little issues I wanted resolved. Anthony showed up on time, was courteous and professional and spent over an hour inspecting and taking pictures and walking me through everything he was seeing, along with giving pointers and suggestions for different options available.

In the end my experience has been positive and while their prices are higher than average, their service quality reflects it.

We had a bad water heater failure followed by a difficult repair (our water heater is connected to a hydronic heating system) and SPS went above and beyond to help find a solution and get us up and running again. It's difficult to find that kind of help these days.

After getting six different quotes, we chose Aaron Plumbing, and we were delighted with the experience and service for our new tankless water heater. We started our search with the outsourced vendors: Water Heaters Only, Sears, and Home Depot, and besides the outrageous quotes, did not like dealing with a salesperson, so removed from the actual purpose. Instead, we looked at a family-owned business and chose Aaron, who was not the cheapest but someone we could trust and like. He responded ASAP to my texts and concerns. Outstanding impressions were how smooth the city approved the final permit and the daily cleanups.

Not good at all. I was hopeful from reading all of the 5 star reviews but I had a bad experience. There was water damage around my toilet so I thought that it just needed a new wax seal and hose. They put in the wax seal and anchors but later that night the damage got worse!!! Started flooding our downstairs bathroom (below upstairs bathroom). They did not replace the super old hose and they didn’t notice that the top part of the toilet was leaking onto the old hose. Husband was able to replace the hose and part in top part of toilet easily.

We need to replace the toilet as a whole but we won’t be calling them

Better Water Heaters installed my tankless water heater several years ago, and they have been very good about performing its annual maintenance.

Called 1hr drain for an apartment complex. Jose came in just about an hour ago and fixed the issue to my backed up kitchen. This guy is amazing! Keeps clean, communicates, definitely an expert. Thank against Jose!

This location does not exist. They are praying on people in desperate situations.

I can't explain my gratitude towards the service I received on replacing my old water heater. Mario did an extraordinary job. I am so pleased with his job , he was able to stop by the same day I called. It was literally an emergency due to the fact that I was scheduled to have visitors that same day that there wasn't any warm water. I freaked out but luckily everything worked out perfect! The prize was incredible and the timing was perfect (very fast service). I definetily saved his contact info for future services :) Thank you so much and I highly recommend to anybody!

The tech was able to quickly fix the problem caused by an unqualified contractor. They even had to return because I miscommunicated about the outlet under the sink and they repaired it without complaint. I'm very happy with the work.

Worst experience EVER!! See those horrible reviews on Yelp and you will know why. Spent $128 and got nothing done because the plumber didn't have the parts that need to be placed. Sales rep was unprofessional and unhelpful. Don't go for this company because they are gonna let you pay without getting the work done.
