Travis and Ray came out today and were professional, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain how and why the repairs were needed.

It was extremely easy to get in touch with the answering service--a real, live human being! -- at Mr. Rooter. The efficient administrator even answered the phone on a Sunday! Service was prompt, efficient and polite. The technician explained options we could consider in solving the problem, and made our job much easier by going out to purchase the kind of new faucet we had chosen. The job turned out to be more demanding than we had expected, so the technician had to make two visits. On both occasions, he accomplished the work in the estimated time, and at the stated price. We were altogether satisfied with this company and recommend it highly.

This is my first time ever leaving a review. I am so thankful for One Sources help at 4:30 am I had to share it. I woke to water coming from the kitchen upstairs through the lights in my downstairs bathroom. A pipe malfunctioned on the dishwasher and was flowing onto the kitchen floor and then flooding the kitchen. I frantically called 4 plumbers who said 24hr service but it turns out they just have an answering service and I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. The 5th company was One Source and he talked me through how to shut off the water which turns out to be pretty easy if you know where to look. I wasn't charged anything and it was just a very nice decent thing to do for someone at that ungodly hour in the morning. Thank you, Thank you!!

James and James plumbing is by far the best plumbing outfit I have ever come across. I have had numerous issues with plumbing and James and James have always been there to save the day! Awesome team with A+ customer service. The two things that really stand out to me is the communication and professionalism. Always a call away and answered all my questions till I was on the same page as them. Left my house cleaner then when they showed up. Paul and his crew have been helping me since 2001 with my 140 year old Victorian building six units plus a restaurant on Haight Street. Each time he proposed cost effective solutions and executed the work flawlessly. They worked on the sewer lines sometimes in a 3 foot tall crawlspace under an operating restaurant, once from a 30 ft ladder on the back of the building and again replacing a main line under the busy sidewalk. It seemed like magic that they could do what they did without inconveniencing my tenants or the public.

R&L was able to respond to us on a Sunday night with both a quote and a helpful solution that we could try ourselves. We tried the fix but it did not work and requested a quote from R&L. The quote was fair and as soon as we verbally accepted they had a plumber to us in less than an hour. I spoke with a few different people but they were all courteous and always tried to find a do it yourself solution without going for a money grab. Would definitely recommend

These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. My line failed miserably and I ended up hiring them to replace my sewer line instead. They only charged me for the replacement! They were quick efficient and clean. I would do business with them again

I recently used this plumber service and I am thoroughly impressed. The plumber was prompt, courteous, and successfully fixed the plumbing issue in my property. Their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction were outstanding.

They came on time.

The man was soo rude and unprofessional. I wanted to pay with credit card and he told me that his company does not accept credit cards cuz it cost him 10% and that they are fraudulent. He wanted me to only pay cash or by check. I am currently working with BBB so they can assist in getting him paid (my bill was $130.00).
He said he was going to band me from my insurance company. The moment he walked into my house he was very negative told me how horrible my pipes were and that whoever remodeled my house did not know what he was doing. He went on and on how bad my pipes were. (that's why he was at my house HELLO).
I was actually scared on how he came at me (hubby was not home)when i told him that I did not want to pay him with a check I felt scared. It's too late for me but I am going to see that he does not ever treat another customer like he did me.
DO NOT USE this company.
