Best Residential Repair in San Francisco CA

Mario came out within 30 min from calling. I needed hydro jetting done and everything went great! Everyone I talked to was so nice.. customer service was excellent. They were cheaper than other quotes I had that were $1500-$1700, which was way too much for a mobile home. I couldn’t be happier with their service and will use them again in the future.. thank you soooo much Mario!!

Christian V., the Works Plumbing technician, offered probably the best experience I've had with a plumber and one of the best I've had with any contractor. Super smart, efficient, friendly, tidy and, most importantly, delivered the job and explained every detail along the way. Works Plumbing were highly responsive and communicated well throughout. They seemed so friendly on the phone. To bad they don't show up or follow through at all. Had an 8am appointment and was told I'd receive a call when they were in route. So when i hadn't heard anything at 8:30am, I called to check in and see what was going on. I was told the dispatcher would find out and call me right back. She never did, so I finally just cancelled the appointment at 9am. No plumber, no word, no call back, nothing. Why do companies feel they can treat customers so poorly? I just don't understand it. I understand being late, but not to let the customer know what's going on or return a call as promised? Just not acceptable. Economy Plumbing (of San Francisco) said they'd send someone out within the hour - not make an appointment that they won't keep. Fingers crossed, but so far they are better than Mr. Rooter.

Best ability is availability and they’re always available we manage multiple bars and always need service late night without someone trying to charge us an arm and a leg so we’re grateful for their consistency (4years)

O'Grady saved the day on a Saturday when we had a major problem come up. They had a guy out within the hour and he did a great job. I would give six stars if I could.

Sean came on time, was friendly and fixed the sewer drain problem with a good explanation of the issues.

This is a great company! They did my sewer lateral back in 2012. We developed a sinkhole recently and they came out to inspect it. Even though the sinkhole wasn’t related to the work they did, they went ahead and repaired it anyway for no charge. Very few businesses like this exist these days. I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

Get the price quotes in writing BEFORE service is started. They replaced my garbage disposal and toilet fill valve. I asked for a quote and he said $200+ for parts. I asked for a TOTAL cost of parts and labor and he quoted me $500+. I said great, let’s do it. Total time took 45 minutes and he presented me with a bill for $757.50. You can see the attached invoice that he charged me $515.00 for the service. WHAT??? Literally less than an hour of “service” time and more than twice the cost of parts?? I’ve called twice to speak to someone but they don’t block time to return calls so the person on the phone doesn’t know when someone will get back to me.

Ricardo was excellent. On time, good communication, fast service. He provided a walkthrough when all the work was done, and was very personable. I would highly recommend him

We had an issue with an old boiler made by HTP. They came diagnosed and repaired a problem that a couple of other companies couldn’t solve. They were professional and easy to deal with.

I was very, very grateful they came out for a same day appointment for a shower valve replacement. Water was running non stop all of a sudden, and the faucet would not turn off. Larry was very helpful in guiding me through whether a building water shutoff was needed and how to find out the kind of part needed.
Carmen was helpful in explaining how billing would work and when I had questions about the tech tracker status and tech arrival. Mario was extremely skilled as he was able to remove the escutcheon that was stubbornly rusted to the wall. He accomplished the replacement in under an hour which minimized the negative impact of the duration of water shutoff and hot water unavailability for 100+ units in my complex. He also explained the testing done afterwards. Thank you!!!
