The plumber arrived on time and called ahead to let me know what time he would be there. He was very polite, courteous and professional. He was very thorough inspecting everything after he had unclogged the drain and noticed that two pipes that had started to leak. He quickly replaced the pipes. The fees charged were as quoted and very reasonable. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

These guys are awesome! I live in a condo in SF and wanted to replace the multi-turn stop valves in my condo (all 11 of them were over 15 years old with deteriorating washers) with new ball valves. The problem is my building is poorly designed and we have to schedule the shut off of water to the entire building just for an individual unit to be repaired. I had planned on doing the valve replacement myself. I watched lots of YouTube videos and diy/how-to info and I'm pretty good with DIY stuff and this seemed like something that was very doable. Unthread the old compression fitting pop off the old compression sleeve and nut, pop on the new ones, thread on the new valve, easy-peasy. I had all the necessary parts and tools. The problem with those videos is that they don't tell you all the things that can go wrong and how to deal with unforeseen problems. I managed to get the first couple of valves off as the YouTube videos showed; no big deal. Problem was that whoever installed the old valves cranked down so hard that they crimped the copper pipe and the new compression sleeves were too loose and couldn't be tightened enough to form a seal, at least not with my flimsy upper-body strength. So here I was with two open pipes and the building water scheduled to be turned back on in just a couple of hours. Kenneth Asire Plumbing to the rescue. I called them with my emergency situation and I got lucky. They had a team that had just checked in and was available immediately. They showed up at my building in less than half an hour. They were prompt, friendly, masked for Covid, and super respectful of our home. He even removed his shoes at our entry way even though I hadn't asked him to. I would have been okay with them just installing the two valves that I had already pulled off, but they were able to replace all 11 valves just before the water came back on. Crisis averted. These guys really saved my butt.

I just posted a photo of the new toilet Ace installed. Our house has had Ace out numerous times to resolve various issues relating to our building's age (1880's) and the shoddy DIY work of previous owners. These guys have always been nice. Upfront, accurate estimates before work begins. In this particular bathroom Ace advised us we could either keep fighting the issue or simply replace the toilet. They let me select, from the variety at the big box hardware store, for whichever toilet would meet my needs (and fit). Dude! I so wish we'd done this long ago. It looks so sweet and the flush so reliable without threatening to overflow.
